Many ways leads to Rom...And so are Bob Dylans Songs.A everlasting inspiration for many generations and since I started listening to his songs 42 years ago,essential to me.Like I can't living without being creative,or drinking coffee,or playin on my gidfiddle,building ship models,or reading books,proverbs and so on,so I can't live without his music.It is uplifting all the time,even if I have a break sometimes from his work.But going back to his music and poetry in motion,it is always like coming home after a hard days work~Thank You Bob[Sorry I repeat myself,but thats just the way it is]

Ah, originally it was "Botticelli's niece". So many versions have "a pretty little girl from Greece". Also , a key change!
Well this version came out after The Band’s version, so it’s kind of hard to say which one is the definitive original version

Bob Dylan instructed the villain just how to look Chic while wearing his leopard skin pillbox hat.
Not sure if you know this or not...but pill box hat was allegedly written about edie sedgewick. A model that imploded hanging out with warhols entranouge at the factory. Dylan dated her shortly... she was a tragic figure who died very young.
