@@dominicweissberg524 from the perspective of any decent human it's horrible. From Israelis, who suffered a terrorist attack, from the Gazans, who, as a consequence, had their land razed and many killed, from both sides it was bad. It wasn't good for anyone
+ I really like the friendship you two have built from this project, it’s inspiring
This is for corey.... The nakba was the original sin... All else is a consequence.
What makes it worse is the settlements and annexations.
Israeli never tire of reprating they ate all for peace... But the pals are not..!
The israeli desire for peace is the classic israeki desire to have their cake and eat it to...!!! Will never work.
What is you is your solution , or do you also labour under the vision of wanting to have your cake and eating it to..?

The "nakba" is the direct result of 8 Arab armies attacking Israel, you are responsible for your actions and consequences, as well as keeping the conflict under fire.

Watching you two is really enjoyable. Thank you Corey and Mon Amie.
Thank you for this, I enjoyed it so much. I've been watching your videos for awhile now, and have learned so much. I think you two make a great team and are doing great work. Mon Amie, I'm so glad Corey found you to be his translator, it has added so much to the quality of his interviews. I hope and pray for peace someday, Inshallah!
This was awesome! Thank you both for your time 👏
Thanks, this fills an even better picture of this whole ask project with these background details
I really enjoyed watching this Q&A and I have so much respect and admiration for the both of you! Its so amazing that you guys go to several places and ask random people about their opinion. Especially because the people outside of your country have this unknown bias of how Israelians and Palestians live and think. With your videos you clarify a lot things. Thank you guys so much and keep up the great work you do! 🌹
This was so much fun! It was great to hear more on the background of the project.
Great idea for doing this QnA, wish I'd caught it live. This is absolutely one of the most interesting social experiments on youtube and definitely the most illuminating source of opinion from Israel and Palestine. Thanks to both of you, and I hope you long continue this social project.
Thank you so much!
Keep watching and please share! Every video takes a long time to make, from getting people to stop and talk to us, to agreeing to being on camera to the whole combining and posting. It's a long process and i am proud to be a part of it.
🙏❤
It was never live
This is what I call the younger generation not doing the same thing expecting results! Shout out to both of you are so brave, and have a great heart that’s in the right place! For this God will be for you! If this would pave a way towards a new generation trying to live in peace together and understanding each others complaints about each other, then I am thrilled beyond belief! I absolutely love this team of peace makers! Actually both governments in charge on each side in my opinion need to watch every one of these videos! The day the ppl get tired of politicians speaking for the ppl this will be the day we can find solutions! Let’s be neutral ppl of the world because I think we’ve been fed a lot of lies! Great video showing the reality of the situation there. I wish for the day when you can freely ask and express you intentions without having to "sugar coat" it. Then we will truly be free.
Love your work Corey!!!!! Greetings from Queens NY, home of the Mets!
Thank you for this Q&A. This is an amazing project and hats off to both of you. Loved hearing your conversation and to also get to know you a bit more. @Corey, I'm an immigrant to Canada (13 years now), Iranian by origin. I hear you about feeling Canadian in Israel and feeling Israeli in Canada. It made me laugh hearing you say that life is boring in Canada and more interesting in Israel cuz i can feel it. The Canadian politeness is positive in a sense that it has made this country peaceful and I appreciate that. But then it also limits the types of conversations we can have here in order not to "offend" someone or intrude or be controversial. Canadians don't like confrontation and controversy. So most conversations here stay on the superficial level, about job, weather, and saving money. Politics and social issues are not really welcome topics unless in very particular groups.
Thanks both of you!❤
Thankyou for not only sharing the truth but reeducating people from around the world. Only this kind of exposure will lead to understanding for both sides. Sadly we have a long way to go but your efforts have made it a little closer
@efopo I wonder which side 🤔
@efopo I hope that's the case especially when they harp on about not wanting peace with Israelis. Though sadly I think the hatred is so deeply ingrained it will never change

@@whatever12341 @Daniel D Hello Daniel D, I"m a Muslim Moroccan from Casablanca who live in France. I"m so happy to see that Moroccans Jews want to visit Morocco! Welcome, welcome and welcome to your country! You have all the landscapes here ( sea, desert, mountains with/without snow...) It depend of your preferences. In my opinion, the North (sea, mountains) you have the cities of Tangiers, Tétouan, Al-Hoceima, Chefchaouen and Fez, Meknes. For the Atlas Mountains ( high mountains and/or snow) you have Ifrane, Imli, Imilchil,Ouarzazate and, finally, the South ( desert or the mountains ) Zagora, Taliwin, Tiznit, Tafraoute, Goulmime, Laayoune, Dakhla. For me, they are the bests regions of Morocco. But you have also Essaouira, Safi, Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Assilah, Bejaad... It depend on your preferences, really ( what type of landscapes you prefer, if you are more "city" or "countryside" etc...). Cities have their own landscapes, musics and traditions.
In Casablanca, you have a museum of Moroccan judaism. I hope I can go there one day.
You have the link of the museum with a presentation's video.

Thank you Corey and Mon amie, as an Israeli I have learned a lot about Palestinians from your videos, they reflect the perspective on each side much better than any other source.
One definitely gets the feeling that there is a special relationship between the two of you! It is nice to see evolve, even if it doesn't give the impression that you are both being very "impartial" with what you are asking! (Although I think you touched on this in the questions here. Very interesting hearing about her experience...
A few questions for @Mon Amie:
1) Have you seen the Israeli show Fauda? If so, what did you think of it? Did you see the HBO series "Our boys"?
2) Do you wear a Hijab when walking around with Corey?
3) Do you recall the conversation you had with the Israeli settler in Arabic? What did you think of his view on Palestinians?
4) Do you have family that are Israeli citizens (blue ID)? What are their thoughts of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict? How do they react when there are tensions between the Israelis and Palestinians? Do they feel that they are treated equally in Israel?
Even if you’re not Muslim, it’s much safer for women to visit Palestine with a hijab.
A lot of Palestinian women (both muslim and christian) in Palestine don't wear the hijab. If the translator isn't wearing it in the skype call then she's not going to be wearing it in public. Its fine.
I think the translator is Christian based on one of the videos she did before with Christian Palestinians and I remember she mentions she is Christian I believe

There's this one.
I do appreciate the work here of showing what the people think to the rest of the world. The diversity of the majority among Israelis and Palestinians. Both sides are being torn apart by their respective minorities who refuse to compromise and are driving the seeds of this never ending conflict.
That being said, I do think Corey is blind to the harm that the settlers are creating in really ensuring this conflict never ends.
I also think creating a difference, especially those based on social construct, is not so benign and naive as saying "oh I'm different" and will create more problems down the road than anticipated.

Brave? How so??
25-30 years since he moved to Israel yet Corey still thinks like a Canadian.
Can you ask people about isaiah 53?
Easily answerable. The suffering servant is the nation of Israel.
On 9 October 2020, Palestinian Authority "negotiator" Saeb Erekat tested positive for COVID-19. On 18 October 2020, he was sent to the Israeli Hadassah Ein Karem hospital in Jerusalem in critical condition. Erekat has helped block peace and normalisation negotiations and fabricated stories about Israel. Yet when he is ill, he doesn't go to a Muslim country and instead he goes to Israel.
Would Palestinians praise and emulate Israel for this compassion for someone who has worked against them? If Erekat dies will they blame Israel?
@Starhopper That's a very apt cartoon.
He is American citizen and he has a VIP pass permit and he pays for that hospital not for free ..

In the framework of the Middle East, I am sure it is really confusing that one can be Jewish and an atheist at the same time. The more I read the more it appears to me that vast swaths of the USA are the same. However, I'd say it is pretty much the norm here in Europe, or at least it is a subject generally best avoided.
is that you ? i like your method keep going for peace
It's funny how different people sound when you can see their face.
The fact that her identity and face have to be concealed, while Corey can show his face without fearing for his life, says a lot about the two societies
she chooses to hide her identity bc she wants privacy.
@@user-ud3yv1hl7k why? Not to be murdered by her fellow Palestinians maybe?
@@user-ud3yv1hl7k for sure. I have been to Ramallah and Bethlehem and I have also met Arab Israelis and most of them are very welcoming people, very open to foreigners. Doesn't Mon amie means "My friend"? 🤔
Yea in french but I think her first name starts with Mon as well …
why is Mon amie's face blured?
Because she’s smart. In this very video she says she would support an agreement in which the Israelis get to keep the 1948 land which is frowned upon where she lives.
Because in Palestine freedom of speech is not a thing
Mon amie talked about not building any more settlements, but what about talking out ALL of the settlements of the west bank
"Mon amie" means "my friend" in French. Is that a coincidence or an inside (Canadian) joke?
This was filmed Oct 7th 2020
1967 deal must remain on the table constantly for any takers.
You've both really got a good thing here. People can finally get a much finer understanding of what's really going on and why, because all of the commercial media are just dictating for the different governments at this point. On top of that, the Palestinians have no media, no voice to the rest of the world. I think someone should really help them create a media outlet; trying UA-cam, Twitter, and Facebook, and if they get removed from those platforms (which unfortunately is likely), they can transition to BitChute, DTube, and Rokfin.
And if you want any advice: this video getting to know our illustrious interviewers is great, but you've enabled way, way too many ads. Almost makes it unwatchable.
Until recently the a rbs in Israel had the voice of most of the Arab world. They are financed by Qatar.
There hundreds of anti Israel NGOs, the UN(ICC and UNHRC and UNRWA) BDS, and EU that support them.
Not to mention news outlets like AJ and BBC.
If you want to help them, help them make peace with Israel.
@@Linda43 Obviously you have a bias. And obviously you missed my point that this channel gives the international community something that no other outlet provides. So, in other words, all of these media outlets you cited are missing something.
Peace is only going to happen when Israelis begin to resist what they're government is doing. They're the only ones in a position to do that. But they're not, because they're mostly fine with business as usual.
@@sandite26
I stated the facts. They can be found online.
This channel has its own bias. It isn't a news channel.
The a rbs have been offered many opportunities for peace. They rejected all. These opportunities existed under a Labor government as well as a Right wing government.
"No land for peace. Peace for peace"
@@Linda43 I can't "help them make peace with Israel. Only Israel can do that.
If Israel wanted peace, they would already have it.
The Arabs in Israel have chosen a path of trsm, non normalization and rejectionism. None of which are conducive to peace.
It no longer our responsibility to get along with the Arabs. They need to get along with us.
In the meantime, we will continue to develop relationships with the Arab world and develop as a country.
Which is better?
War or Peace?
@the dark age not true. Violence is not solution
They are part of our life you cant chose one of course peace is better but what if you are forced to make peace by war . it also depends on time you can have peace for 100 year after that war for 20 year after that peace for 50 year its not constant .
For some people and cultures peace is defined as what you gain after eliminating your enemy in a war.

the fact her face is blurred reveals the problem
6:38 If this is the truth, that's very sad. When i watched your video when you asked palestinians that question, some people said they will compromise with 2 states solution but they were few. It made me think "ok, so they are allow to say they want peace, because some said it, but those people are very few. We weren't wrong - most of them just want Israel to be erased". now you say the are not really allowed. It makes me more optimistic, knowing that maybe a peace will be possible in the middle east. Once there will be a true freedom of speech and listening of both sides to each other.
there is no both sides between the colonized and the colonizer. settler-colonialism can't be both-sided.
Pay attention that for some people, peace is what they attain when the enemy is eliminated.

there are anti government protests all over Israel at the moment.
Yeah, it's about our politicians managing corona crisis poorly and about Netaniahu being corrupted.
Generally I support the protests, but I think that hanging out in large groups is not the best idea right now
We are all mostly on the same situation where we want the best for humanity not for those corrupted leaders. It happens everywhere where there is a "Border" made to seperate us.
