It isn't about how many people actually commit violent acts, it's about ordinary Palestinians justifying/condoning their behavior and not understanding how they are contributing to the neverending conflict. Not every Palestinian is Hamas, but if a majority of them support Hamas, it is still a huge barrier to peace.

This is so sad to watch in 2020. What's going on in the their media and education system that they can't even be self critical and sympathetic?
Not the media. The settlements israel is refusing to stop building is in their faces. Farmers being refused the right to harvest on many occasions. It’s a divide and conquer, and western media is treating this situation as an equal. I wish the Palestinians didn’t have to pay for the horrors committed by Germany.
Self criticism and sympathy for people who are different from you are uniquely Western ideas. No other cultural sphere has produced this. Not the Islamic, Chinese, Russian, Persian, African, etc have come up with such concepts.
Right now its israel's problem , but its also becoming a european and american problem as that "culture" is migrating into those regions.

Traditional commentators from the 8th and 9th century onward have uniformly interpreted the Quran to explicitly say that Eretz Yisrael was given by God to the Jewish people as a perpetual covenant. There is no Islamic counterclaim to the land anywhere in traditional Islamic commentary. Also for the past 1500 years most of the Arabs that inhabited the land of Israel were nomadic Bediouns. Most Arab villages were built in the last century from by migrants from Syria.

The key start is to stop pointing fingers and see where the other side is coming from. I can already 'feel' the rising within people, even when I say only this. I sincerely support the idea of your project, but it's blatantly clear where you stand in these questions. There should be more dialogue going between Israelis and Palestinians, I completely agree with that, but your interviewing just isn't impartial to the two sides of the dialogue

Its like asking the home owner that the robber who has entered their home needs to close all doors and windows so that they the occupier/robber(who owns all tanks/guns/WMDs) will feel a bit more secure.
So in this scenario when you ask the home owner what he needs to to do to make the robber feel secure, it will confuse the hell out of them.
Furthermore, when the home owner tries to break through due to the humans survival instinct the robber complains about the need for security.

This is my final thought about the israeli palestinian conflict: i think that it is not legitimate for people that they think their ancestors might lived there 2000 years ago. But now it did just happen we have to live with it. You can't tell them to go back where they came from specially if they were born there (1948 means that most of people under 70 years old are born in Israel) the israelis succed to build a beautifull country with a good educational level so there is nothing wrong if they open up to their neighbors (if they behave appropriately) to show them what it is the state of Israel because most of arabs have a wrong story about it. The first independent state was Judea established by King David.3500 years ago. There is plenty of archeological sites and antiquities to back this up.

Yes and no. Israelis and Palestinians see each other very differently. Palestinians look at Israelis and they see a powerful and affluent country with a mighty army and so how can they possibly be concerned about their security!? Israelis don’t see themselves like that - they see themselves as a small country with a small population surrounded by 300 million Arabs. All Israelis remember that most of their ancestors were persecuted refugees. Israelis also remember the bombings of buses and restaurants in the second intifada.
You are not wrong in what you say, but Israelis have a real concern as well. Of course any real solution needs to end the occupation (of 67 lands) and provide dignity and opportunity, but Israelis will remain deeply concerned that a Palestinian State will act as a launching pad for attacks on Tel Aviv.
When the concept of peace is so different between cultures , there can never be peace between them.

I believe that there are nice people in gaza (there are!) But im afraid of hamas and the Palestinians who follow hamas, of course most of the Palestinian are good but some hurted us like we hurted them, before and after the wall there were bus explored with 20 people twice, stabing with a knife, Suicide bombings which killed 20 children once, going to people's home and killing them, rockets and guns even in this year there were two events when Israelies were stubed (one was alive and the other is dead) and there a lot of events when Palestinian, even TEENS started to try and stub Israeli soldiers which is more dangerous for themselves. I don't blame all of this on the Palestinian. I balme hamas for telling them to do this. We in no way perfect but there is a concern about our security. Most of the Palestinian are good people but hamas and her follows are the one who scary me, i support two states Solution and i want a better leader for the Palestinian then hamas and the Palestinians authority cause they do no care or willing to halp the Palestinian in any way.

If Corey asked me, "can you understand why Palestinian Arabs in the disputed territories feel they need security?", because of them learning in school & mosque that we're evil demons out for blood, then seeing our soldiers entering followed by hearing loud bang noises, I would say "yes! 100%" of course I understand their need for security, everyone would hate to live with fear. Why is it so freakin hard for them to put themselves in our shoes?!?!?! In every Israeli's life, for some more than others, we experience the sirens, rockets exploding in the area of our home, having to go to bomb shelters with kids... and for many of us, also experiencing the existential threat of our entire people nearly being wiped out from recent past wars, and also only 20 years ago, the *daily* suicide bombings of our local places of public gathering.
Palestinian Arab territories contain many different terrorist groups, every one of them wants to kill us all. From the other side of the security fence, these people can see our main public centers and commercial airport with toy binoculars made for children. Their rudimentary cheapest short-range rockets can reach our main infrastructure. And just a few kilometers away from our borders, among our Egypt & Syria neighbors, there are even more numerous groups of terrorist extremists, who want to kill us all.
The craziest thing about their refusal to consider our security situation, is that our own soldiers being active against terrorist threats in the west bank, are the only reason that Palestinian Arab territories hasn't become another Syria! Everybody knows this, if Israel did not have security hold over the west bank... well just look at gaza.
