Come to think of it, we’ve almost been locked in a storage unit facility. 😮 How did you use the bathroom while you were spending 24 hours in the tree? That sounds like an adventurous, scary experience.

YES! Thank you so much for the encouragement! Haha we honestly have a difficult time gauging when we're going "too hard" - we really like going all-out, but sometimes spend too much time with our setups and then lose daylight... or have our batteries die on us 😆 But I guess the beauty of the UA-cam journey is that we are continuing to learn and grow!

We really want to travel soon, but have been stuck at home for a year 😭 So we were quite excited for that date night - when we first tried it a few years ago, we got Brazil and even tried teaching ourselves some Brazilian styles of dance. And yeah 😂 the hot chocolate one was so much more fun than we thought - turns out sugar-highs are a real thing and can make the evening super fun 😂😆 Thanks so much for your continual support, Millie - it means a lot!!

Yes! You guys should definitely do it some day if you get the chance. Our hope is to one day be able to do it for longer than 24 hours -- our dream is to one day just live out of a tree house, but who knows if that'll ever happen 😆But one that is more practical is the coin flip road trip - you guys could just do that one on a Saturday some time!

We are totally doing the hot chocolate one! Imagine doing a walkable version of the flip a coin date in a place like downtown Chicago. Could be ridiculous!
YES. Do the hot chocolate one.. we had no idea what to expect and had far more fun than we expected. Also, such a fun idea to do with kids! And yeah, walking in Chicago would be a lot of fun - you could even try using a dice so that you have more options (1-2 is left, 3-4 is right, 5-6 is straight) - Let us know if you guys try one of these out and how it goes!!

Yeah!! You should do it while walking in some dense urban area, and you could also do it with a dice (1-2 is turn left, 3-4 is turn right, 5-6 is go straight) .. and we ABSOLUTELY had a sugar rush with ours. We had a lot leftover and we still felt really loopy haha I think the trick is making sure you are well-fed, hydrated, and that you don't drink too much. Maybe we should have spat some of it out like real fancy wine tasters do 😂😂

Hahaha -- we originally started this because we were terrible at remembering to set aside time for each other and had no semblance of a weekly dating plan. Even now, we're selling our house and getting rid of everything and we have - and we haven't had a real date in a long time. 😆I will say, doing these dates over the past year has really strengthened our relationship and we've had so much fun! It's easy for us to get caught up in our routines, so we've really enjoyed our little adventures of the past year! You should try some!
