I've been listening to the new bluegrass for 2 hours and this review is meant to be a general critique of all the bands I've heard tonight and I must say the musicality is there and the musical process on the different instruments are there ,but I'm sorry the lyrics are not there. I haven't heard one memorable song in two hours from any group and the lyrics make the song so all of you work on your lyrics because they are sorely lacking. The lyrics are what make a song memorable. Forgive me but tonight I can call all of you the empty heads. I guess it's the school system these days . Students just cralling by enough to graduate. It's a shame because like I say the music. voices talent is all there and great. I try to give honest assessments of what I hear. Fix the before mentioned aspect of your music and you will go a long way..

Blue Ridge Mountain
My heart is a blue ridge mountain
And my head an over-flowing fountain
Oh, my heart is a blue ridge mountain
But I never, never knew, I never knew, never knew
Never, never knew, never knew
Well, I woke up this morning
And I saw a new day dawning
Oh, I woke up this morning
But I never, never knew, I never knew, never knew
Never, never knew, never knew
And my hands are like John Henry's
Sing a song for his poor memory
It's the soul a man that can be
But I never, never knew, I never knew, never knew
Never, never knew, never knew
Well, I woke up this morning
And I saw a new day dawning
Oh, I woke up this morning
But I never, never knew, I never knew, never knew
Never, never knew, never knew
My heart is a blue ridge mountain
And my head an over-flowing fountain
Oh, my heart is a blue ridge mountain
But I never, never knew, I never knew, never knew
Never, never knew, never knew
Well, I never, never knew, I never knew, never knew
Never, never knew, never knew
Oh, I never, never knew, I never knew, never knew
Never, never knew, never knew
My heart is a blue ridge mountain
And my head an over flowing fountain
My heart is a blue ridge mountain
But I never never knew, I never knew, never knew
Never never knew, never knew
[Chorus]
When I woke up this morning
And I saw a new day dawn in
Ooh I woke up this morning
But I never never knew, I never knew, never knew
Never never knew, never knew
Uuuuuu...
Uuuuuuuuu...
[Verse 2]
My hands are like Jean Henry's
Sing a song for whisper memory

But I never never knew, I never knew, never knew
Never never knew, never knew

When I woke up this morning
