The maps are great, but they really didn't think about that quest. Half the times I was playing, people were leaving because it wasn't a map they needed for their quest.

The maps are awful.
True and false. It's not like the quest will go anywhere. Why not just play until you get the one you need. The rewards for the quest really isn't worth rushing for.

Connection based matchmaking makes lobbies load fast
First game in the new Territory playlist, I got into a game with a guy named True vanguard on my team. He was cooking with Necrochasm and I was cleaning up with Rat King. Just found out that he is a big D2 content creator. What a chill guy. He earned a follow from me for sure.
Dude TV rules. I played against him once. Got one kill on him. Then he blasted me with deathbringer lol.
yea TV is one of OG pvp d2tubers, or i guess a d1tuber? doesnt have the same ring lol. class act guy
Tv is a crybaby, I match with him a lot and he throws when he’s on my team. I once killed him with a glaive and he ranted for like 20 minutes

Cirrus reminds me of reflection from Halo, one of my fav maps. The europa map is probably my fav to play on and the pyramid ship one is gorgeous (also has a nice mix of long and short angles).
yeah they are literally the same map. Cirrus is just a simplified version with a slope
Eventide labs and circus plaza are SO made for 3vs3, and I like them. Dissonace is larger and more dispersive, i think it would play good in 6vs6, it reminds me of the dungeons from d1 i don't know why

@@RMediaObelisk I honestly wish I had more reason to run my Sweet Business like I used to do before... I miss doing it. Even then I still always carry it on my Titan with AWR, shall I need it.
I just hope this is a sign of things to come, bc more maps like these would be great.
A little community service, if you want a strand edge transit and you haven't played much trials, meaning you haven't reseted your rank for the first time yet (or you haven't claimed the rewards on the second set of rewards), Saint is selling an envious assasin with bns cataphrac roll.
Absolutely HUGE call-out. I've been holding out on my second reset for a cataphract with that roll.

I haven't played much on these yet, but I'm loving these new maps and special changes! We'll see how they hold up over time.
Pvp addict here: I love these maps and it feels nice to finally get something new to spice up pvp
The pyramid map feels like an OG halo map and liked it. Wasn't a fan of the other two but I'm sure it'll grow on me

I don’t even play Crucible that often, but I started playing more since they have a cool emblem to give away for it (which was a great idea, might I add) and was really blown away by the maps and found myself really enjoying it. Nice one Bungie
I think my favorite map to play on was the pyramid map. I think it just complimented my play style super nicely.
I also do like the Neomuna map a lot as well but i found myself being really annoyed by all the obstructions and tight hallways (which is awesome for other people)
The Europa map is also a very good map and i was so scared it was gonna be gambler's ruin 2 (which is my least fav map ever) but instead its more like anamoly. This was also the map i played the least and found it very easy to get lost in the first 2 games i played
Overall these maps are very fun to play on imo. All of them allow for any type of weapon or playstyle to shine and they all worked very well with every mode i played yesterday
The maps are cool but this was my first time playing without SBMM and it felt great. Didn't feel like I was playing a team of me and I had my kids on my team.

I was really hoping Cirrus Plaza had verticality like Swordbase from Reach but still looks fun.
it’s reminds me more of Reflection then Swordbase
I’m honestly surprised how good the Neomuna map is. I don’t even mean gameplay, I just love all the little easter eggs that are scattered across that map.

My only complaint is that the pyramid map gives people in the center a lot of advantage to the point where if you know where enemies are coming from, you can stop them in their tracks. People who dominate the center have way too much freedom to control all points of entry which can't be said about the other 2 maps where there are many ways to flush opponents from the center part of the map.

My favorite by far atm is Dissonance that Map is so beautiful and fun
Happiest moments of my life:
1. Watching my child be born
2. Reaching financial independence
3. Playing on Cirrus Plaza

Love Cirrus Plaza the most, it's really reminding me of a Halo Reach map, in a good way. I really dig all three though, I can choose a favourite but I don't think any of them are bad at all
These maps look good! Good engagement distance for all weapon types, Good angles with Good map object placements.

the new map is superfun using arc, centrifuse and Rose as backup. the 3 vs 3 team work games are fun to coordinate.

The maps are great because they offer a lot of states of neutral verticality. Sloped floors allow for High Ground to take effect if you are above the height of the enemy's head. Platforms give that benefit immediately, and there are a lot of platforms.
Eventide and Dissonance are definitely my favorites. I’m not so much a fan of cirrus plaza but maybe it’ll grow on me
I like all the maps for sure. I haven't found a least favorite yet. But damn do the matches load quick
Cirrus plaza seems like the exact layout of rooms as Asylum from D1
All these maps I’ve had so much fun on. Even outside of the playlist where SBMM is a factor. Probably the best addition to PvP they’ve had in a while.
I personally like Dissonance and Eventide Labs, but I never had a good game on Cirrus Plaza. Could just be that I haven't played PvP in awhile so that could also be a major factor or that my slightly more passive playstyle was screwing me over massively
Maps are fun. Game modes are great. Forces teams to coordinate and team shot instead of ego challenging. Hopefully this goes into Trials. Having fun on these maps.

I love the new maps. I also really enjoy 3v3 game modes so I don’t mind grinding the quest.
I really thought eventide would be really bad but it ending up being my favorite map. Engagement was always really fast and rounds flew by.
I love how the neomuna map is an almost 1 to 1 of the map from Halo Reach
Cross if you like knuckle head radar try using eye of another world, the 50% increased base regen with 100 discipline, 100 strength is amazing, plus it has the highlighting system that knucklehead has
Crucible devs cooked with these maps. So far really good stuff. We'll see how trials turns out

Dissonance seems to be the best so far
Dissonance is my favorite atheistically, but Eventide is my favorite gameplay wise
These maps actually got me to play crucible. Cirrus Plaza is so reminiscent of Halo Reach.

I remeber in 2021 when everyone was asking for new maps I said a snow map on Europa, a Deep stone crypt style map and something else. well we sorta got 2/3 The neomuna style is very similar so I'll take it.
I hope trials will be the new maps for the next couple weeks.

I love the maps but I wish it wasn’t elimination for the rotation just because I don’t get enough time to play the map per match.

Only played for the quest. 3v3 is a nightmare on console/controller. I played pvp seriously for the first time during guardian games/iron banner last week. It was somewhat enjoyable… got a good tusk of the bore and the emblem. Id like to love pvp but its just terribly broken for casual players.
I HATE haven't had a good game on Cirrus plaza but the other 2 maps are FIRE.. I'm sure Cirrus plaza will grow on me
Is it possible to have some outlier protection or lobby balancing in this playlist ? one game was 36-0 inside 2 minutes and the winning team were night and day better. I'm not here to be pub stomping or be mercy'd. I want a bit of a competition unless it was just a one off..

In my first match of new territory, I went on a 10 streak at the start while the other team had like 3 kills. I folded the rest of the game and lost by 3 😗 Dissonance is a great map though.
Will we be getting more new maps is the question or are we back to one new map every two years

Lots of quitting, only 1 match ended in mercy. All the sweats in casual using brave gear. I quit as soon as i finished the quest. I also didn't get extra progress when we did win (i was on step 2)
I'm sad I have to pick up special bricks again. It sucks for snipers.
Real talk though, I think he flinched himself more with Midnight Coup more than them.

I’ve been hearing about the quest ruining it for players but for me i legit got the maps I needed in perfect order 2 at a time. Maybe I just incredibly lucky or maybe that’s what’s supposed to happen and it’s actually a bug???

How do you get to play in those new maps? Is it random? I played about 10 games in crucible and not once did I play the new map, it sucks, eir it do not install on m game or I’m being left out dude. Sucks

I'm starting to believe Plaza isn't real... I've done so many matches for that quest and need to finish 2 matches on Plaza. Never seen it...
The maps are fantastic. Neomuna map is my favorite. BUT, I don't know why Bungie designed a quest that made you play a certian amount of times in a specific map, when map voting isn't a thing. Right now, people load up and leave if the map is not the one they need. How did they not think of what would happen? Hopefully this dies out overtime. They could have added a quest that would make you load up in a private match to find a dead ghost or some lore if they wanted people to see all the new maps.
Am I the only one that sees the new Europa map is the sunseted tangled shore map just reskined.

Kinda getting sick of Cirrus and Eventide, considering I've been grinding New Territory for several hours, and only been on Dissonance ONCE. And that one time was my first match in the Playlist. C'mon, Bungie, throw me a bone, here! Mind you, Cirrus can be fun to just wander around in, and Eventide has some interesting choke points, but how am I supposed to get a good feel for the last of the 3 when I'm getting drowned in matches on the other 2?
