The “I’m a fraud, this song was written by my dog” and the “I like to sound British, that’s why I’m talking like this” lines are even funnier now that we know that the original song was written by a more obscure British singer named Tulisa, and it was originally supposed to be her song, but her manager decided she didn’t deserve the song for some reason and gave it to Will, and it also explains why Britney sang in a weird British accent in the original song. Tulisa’s vocals are still in the final version of the song, but she didn’t get credited nor paid any royalties for it, which rightfully pissed her off and caused her to file a lawsuit. She now is paid 10% of royalties from the song as of 2018, those lines really aged well
