It’s interesting how everybody filters drinking water in the hills now. Probably just very lucky but I’ve never used one and never been ill as a result of drinking untreated water. 45 plus years ago, when I started, nobody seemed to treat drinking water unless going abroad, where the standard technique was a few drops of iodine, wait a specified time, then add the same number of drops of a thiosulphate solution to neutralise the iodine - the water still tasted foul and we usually ended up just drinking it raw and taking the chance.
@@Fellwander people died of dysentery and diarrhea all the time before we had proper sanitation and a health system. You only have to look at the developing world to see the difference. Boiling water will kill most viruses and bacteria but most people don't realise it should be a rolling boil for at least 3 mins to do this. It does not remove heavy metals like lead which also kills people fortunately now less common but still happens or chemicals. Chemicals have been polluting our land and water since the industrial revolution, you are unlikely to get ill straight away from chemicals and heavy metals, it's usually a build up as our bodies struggle to process them and often they cause other issues you might not associate such as cardiovascular disease. Cherts for the double comment tho 👍
Very beautiful woman ❤❤❤
Aww thank you 😁
Karen right now is promoting a tent she has never used and wont use and didnt even set up her self , meanwhile theres people like you that actually puts in the work hence all the views
As I said before I won't comment on Karen because she is a friend and I know she's going through a tough time. But yes I do put in a lot of hard work and it seems to be paying off 😊
@@Wild.cat.adventures before sciatica she had a bad hip e.t.c 👀
what's with this rash of channels that have super GORGEOUS women going camping? Where were you when I was living outside??? 💔
Dunno what channel ur watching but it isn't mine 🤣
@@Wild.cat.adventures Trust me, when I say you're prettier than Eva zu Beck. I have an astounding weakness when it comes to brunettes it seems. When you got stuck under that log, I was frantically scanning your fingers for the shiny rocks stuck on metal. 🤞 I didn't see any. Lucky me. Now, hopefully you think I'm quite dashing and not creepy? Either way, your content is pretty compelling. I must protest the use of powdered coffee though. YUCK!
Please tell me you didn’t find a book and you didn’t read out aloud from it?!
No should I be worried if I do??
That very fist cabin looked super sketchy LOL.. Even though it didnt go as plan, looked like a wonderful adventure! Thanks for sharing!
It was pretty sturdy but wouldn't want to camp there when there's 2 better shelters near by!
