My wife and I are on month number 11 with our Bison GT's. The Bison GT packs the Helio G95, 8gb of RAM, 128gb of storage, a 6.7 inch display, a 64mp front and 32mp rear camera, and a massive 5150 mAh battery. The Bison line of phones are nearly indestructible! These have been by far the absolute BEST phones we have ever owned! We were long time Samsung Galaxy Note users for years always getting the new ones as they hit the market. Our being Samsung fans cost us around $1,200 x2 every damn time a new Note hit the market.... RIDICULOUS! Especially when you realize you can get into the Bison line for around $150 for the smaller screen 4gb and 6gb RAM models and $250 for the larger screen 8gb model Bison GT! What a steal for the build quality and performance! We will NEVER go back to Samsung as Umidigi and their Bison GT has won our hearts.... and wallets. 😉
There are faster and better phones out there for a fair bit more money like Poco M4. I've dropped my Bison on marble hotel floor at least twice, sat on it, got it wet and slimed in sun cream, left in the car in the sun and put it in my pocket with keys. No damage at all. The camera is very good for the price, CPU is fine for me, battery is exceptional and the screen is fast and responsive. I will look to see if a revised OS like Lineage is available after a couple of years as security patches are important if you use instant messaging etc. Unlike most phones, I won't have broken it in 2 years though! Thanks for the review.
J this is more like it your show you don't need to spending alot to have great phone. Umidigi do make really nice phone at very affordable price and their feel like flagship phone.
I’m a fan of Rugged phones because I’ve destroyed phones in the past by dropping them on concrete and dropping them in water. I wanted something that was naturally resistant to that. I also like the fact that the batteries last more than one day. I have a Doogee S96 . But the Bison seems to be a great choice as well. These phones offer a lot for the money. Most offer some unique feature such as an infrared thermometer, laser measurement, night vision camera with built in infrared light , thermal imaging camera or other interesting feature not found on flagship phones. Most people ignore these phones, but they are a solid mid-range phone. The cameras aren’t the best. But they are solidly decent. My Doogee S96 was a much better value than the Kyocera phone that was offered by my carrier- better camera, larger screen, better battery life ( 6300 mA vs 3500 mA), lower price , more RAM and ROM (8/128 vs 4/64 and dual SIM. It also has wireless charging. Again these are not flagship phones. But I agree with you. They offer a lot of value for the price.
@@craigpodsprojames2500 I managed to break the screen on my Doogee S96. But it fell face first on the corner of a hardened steel bolt. I doubt if ANY phone screen could have survived a fall like that. But the phone is still usable. However, I bought an even lessor known phone, a Conquest S20. It has an 8,000mA battery, all the features of the S96, along with a few more. Plus it has gorilla glass 5. And is 5g compatible. I wish I'd known that the features of the Doogee v20 before I got this phone because I paid 600 for the conquest. I think even the V20's regular price will be less.
Thanks for the review. I've been thinking about getting this phone but hesitated because I saw some comments about the speaker phone not working during calls. Did you come across this issue?
Nah! The speaker sounds great. I am using Bison Pro now and it's the second Umidigi phone i'm gonna be using. Got the first one in 2020 and still working perfect till this very moment.
Keep getting a glitch on this phone after replacing my old Bison GT, for the Bison Pro... Something keeps taking over the screen, scrolling up & down, Pinch zooming & clicking on random stuff... Anyone know how to fix this? Also call signals not great & people can barely hear me 60 - 70% of the time...
Anyone have network issue's with this phone in the UK. I'm with EE on the Bison Pro, but calls are not working properly, any time I call anybody they say they can't hear me. This has been the same for both the Bison Pro & The Bison GT using this SIM card, but the GT worked fine with no issues on a GiffGaff SIM card. Also have to manually select the APN settings every time the phone is restarted, which isn't normal.... Can't figure out if it's the phone or SIM, but switched phones twice & now ordered a new SIM from EE....
I purchased a UMIDIGI BISONX10S RP05 Cell phone 11/22 & microphone has not worked for many months. Experts unable to repair it. I have never had this happen before. No more Bison phones for me!
I connected it to my desktop but cannot figure out how to transfer files. Computer cannot see the folders on the 256GB internal drive which renders it rather useless. Does anyone know how to transfer files from a desktop to this phone?
USA folk.... Verizon does not support this phone. Att does not support this phone w/out tricking their stores system. To do this go into phone and change it to 4G only... otherwise Att store system assumes it is 3g and wont allow them to proceed to make a sim at all. BIGGG BUTTT here is though... both Att website and the store say that likely this phone will STOP WORKING (cellular/data signal wise) when everyone in USA stops 3G and below around end of Feb 2022. This is why was required to set phone to 4G only at Att store; otherwise store's system read to be a 3G phone and they wont make new sims for something that will be a dead phone in near future. time will tell.... very short amount of time in this case
I'm in the USA and use Tracfone. Now Tracfone uses the Verizon network BUT they say I can't use my Bison Pro with their service. Has anyone had the same problem? Is there a solution? Any help is appreciated
Does anyone know where to get a screen protector for the Bison Pro that actually fits? I've purchased several and none of them fit. Love the phone, just don't like the OEM screen protector. Nice review
the pre-applied screen protector is as good as any other one you'd purchase. it's just a cheap piece of plastic at the end of the day.. not gonna find any better version on Amazon or eBay, there all the same...
A high % of these phones do not work with faulty processors causing repeated crashing. UMIDIGI does nothing to honour their warranty, you should avoid them at ALL costs!
@@taospencer1403 Just one was enough for me! Though looking at other reviews from where I bought it from its seems they have about a 2% failure rate. Their online "help" is also a little suspicious as it immediately directs you to how to do a full firmware re-format so that too is a common issue!

This phone looks amazing... especially on the outside. This design 🔥
This company just don't quit and I love it. I thought it would be a fly by company that made decent knockoffs but they grew into their own.
I'm just Shocked to see you're Gaming on a Phone. It seem like a great Phone, great Video Bro.
I dropped mine and I panicked but wow, no damages were found. Amazing phone.

Doogee and Umidigi make some really good rugged phones.

Hi. Can you help to check if the DSU Loader is available for this device? This option can be seen after you have enabled Developer Options.

Will bison phones work with Verizon in united states? I keep getting conflicting answers
The most important part is will it work with usa carriers I know it won't work with cricket or att

does this have app twin or app clone

How many have you tested or owned? just out of curiosity, first one I had was fine with no issues, but the PRO is not so great....
