After facing significant challenges, I learned two crucial lessons about the stock market: it played a major role in the Great Depression, and the quickest way to make a million in the market is to start with two million. The Great Recession only reinforced these insights. In hindsight, I wish someone had guided me earlier. A well-defined entry and exit strategy is essential for success in the stock market.
Exactly, many investors are overly focused on potential profits, forgetting that the market has both ups and downs. Securing your financial future requires patience and a strong understanding of market trends to identify the right stocks for investment. For instance, I made over $260k in profits during Q4 of 2021. The key to profitable investing is truly understanding market behavior.
Rebecca Lynne Buie has consistently been my top recommendation. She’s widely recognized for her expertise in financial markets and has a strong track record. I highly recommend her.
Thank you for sharing! Rebecca Lynne Buie seems quite knowledgeable. I found her webpage and reviewed her resume, which was quite impressive. I’ve already reached out and scheduled a call.
Everyone needs more than their salary to be financially stable. Best thing to do with your money is to invest it rightfully because money kept in reserved is dormant.
As an investment enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. I do have a significant amount of capital that is required to start up but I have no idea what strategies and directions I need to approach to help me make decent returns.
The process of trading can be complicated when you have limited knowledge. However with the right strategy and setup, you can be successful. That's the whole point of investing. I got into the market 10k and up to 76k in a short period of time. I was able to build a business from my returns♥️♥️
Becoming a good trader takes time and patience. When I first got into trading I was liquidated twice and I lost my entire mortgage deposit. I could have given up. But I decided to learn how to tradei put it to practice. I'm glad I made that decision today.
My advise to anyone holding cryptocurrency right now is to invest it and earn up 70 times of the initial capitals. Holding cryptocurrency will make it reduce because once the price goes down it will definitely go down as well but when you invest it, you won't have to worry about anything.
Last year, I invested $15k in Crypto and made about $426k within a few months-and it’s still growing. I’ve always been a strong advocate for trading because it’s been incredibly rewarding for me. Looking forward to achieving financial freedom soon. And by the way, awesome content, brother!

It took me over three years to discover that forecasting the market based on charts is pointless; you never know what will happen.I have a little over 250k i wanted to put in the markets but I don’t know what direction to head now. Any guidance in this regard would be much valued.
I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
Reason i decided to work closely with a brokerage adviser ever since the market got really tense and the pressure became too much. I should be retiring in 17 months, so I've had a brokerage adviser guide me through the chaos. It's been 9 months now, and I've made approximately 650K net from all of my holdings.
This is definitely worth considering! Do you have any recommendations for professionals or advisors I could speak with? I really need help with proper portfolio allocation.

In so many other video's that first five minutes of the market are a scary place for so many other traders. You made something useful out of it. I will use this first thing tomorrow morning.
There are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy situation, but such execution is usually carried out by an investment specialist.
The issue is most people have the 'I will do it myself' mentality but are not skilled enough. Ideally, advisors are perfect reps for investing jobs, and in my first-hand experience, my portfolio has yielded over 350% since the COVID outbreak to date, summing up nearly $1m.
@@cygnevara8400 same here! i always traded the break and retest but the ORB is a new way for me and im liking it, what ive done to really make it solid is mainly play the direction of the overall trend we are in , i feel more confident that way. so far its been great!
I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. Do your best to connect with the right people and you will surely see changes.
I'm new to cryptocurrency and don't understand how it really works. how Can someone know the right approach to investing and making good profits from cryptocurrency investments?
As a beginner investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Myself, I’m guided by Alex Mathew . A widely known crypto consultant
I started working with Alex Mathew back in June, and my financial goals have never been clearer. It’s like having a strategic partner for my money with a solid track record.
I don't even know where the stock market is headed to right now. my portfolio of around 200k is not increasing more than 5% and people are predicting a crash
I agree, investing with the help of an advisor set me up for life with about $1.6m currently in stock portfolio. I max out my 401k and have few properties. I worked hard as a language tutor for 25 yrs and my salary was over 80k annually. it all boils down to consistent regular investing to minimize risks and maximize growth.
this video is the real game changer...My ORB strategy failed as I never waited for the retest. after watching this video my ORB strategy has been perfected!
06:28 Why not SHORT after price retests the ORB bottom line? 07:44 Placed SHORT order just as the price retests the ORB bottom line. What's the difference between the two cases? You might say first one, price move was not strong enough, but then what does it mean to be strong "precisely"?
Wow - thank you very much for this strategy. I would say to add in resistance levels, and the 9 ema. Also, if you are on the 5 minute, check the 3 minute, (possibly the 2 minute, but I don't have access to that), maybe the 1 minute before making your entry.
I use this strategy as well but on the opening 15 minute range instead. break and retest using using the 1 min time frame for entry. 60% win rate aiming for 100 pips with a 25-50 pip stop loss. a losing week of 2/5 with this strategy is is still Good because indexes for a fact gonna give you a 100 pip move straight in one direction at least 3 out of 5 days. I don't even stress about losses any more because a this strategy on a bad losing week can still be profitable with risk to reward ratio. and with this strategy you gonna be in one of those 100 pips moves at least 2-3 times out of 5 days
Most of these "strategies" are shown using perfect examples to give the allusion that they work. But in reality, you will lose more than you make listening to UA-cam trading gurus. The market takes patience to learn. It's NOT for beginners. Period
Huh? It doesn't work for him either. Isn't it obvious? If it would, he'd be busy getting filthy rich and not making dumbass youtube videos about useless strategies.
Thank you brother! I appreciate this valuable information… I’ve been working for years killing myself to make someone else’s paradise instead of my own. It’s time to get off this modern day plantation and set myself free! Thank you again for providing us the tools that we need to free ourselves!
Thanks a lot for this awesome setup! I just backtested across 7 days (ES futures 5 min chart)and had 4 winning days (2 to 1) , 2 losses and 1 no trade. Looking forward to do it live this week! Average risk was 300-500 based on the setup with 600-1000 profit target. I like this especially because I’ve either been destroyed trading at the open or avoiding it altogether. I did not trail and let the trades run their course.
Jdub, it’s an honest effort on your part, but this strategy doesn’t work consistently because it’s based on a false premise. That is, once your initial 5 minute range is established and retested, that this retest will have a propensity to move in whichever direction it breaks, with a 2/1 (+/-) profit/loss ratio. A more thorough back test will show that, in fact, the propensity for a move in the breaking direction is basically a coin toss with many factors that could cause this trade to move against you. This is not to say that this wouldn’t be a winning strategy during a given week or month. But over time it will prove to be wrong as often as right. Sorry, I don’t intend to be a detractor, but I’ve modeled this and ran a years worth of data so I know it won’t work over time. Nevertheless, a thoughtful thesis.
why are you stating that a coin toss (50/50) strategy wouldn't be profitable over the long term if setting our take profit and stop loss at a 2 to 1 ratio? Mathematically, the breakeven with a 2 to 1 take profit to stop loss strategy is a 33.33% win rate. So, if the win rate were 50%, this would be profitable over the long term.
@@Joe-808it is a coin toss on which direction it is going to go. It can go the direction you want it to, and still be a losing trade….because often times it will move against you enough in the process to stop you out at a loss before going the way you needed it to go. It is not a coin toss on whether you will win or lose.
I dont even know where the stock market is headed to right now. my portfolio of around 200k is not increasing more than 5% and people are predicting a crash .
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
My CFA *Julianne Iwersen-Niemann* a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market..
Thank you for saving me hours of back and forth investigation into the markets... I simply copied and pasted her full name into my browser, and her website came up first in search results. She looks flawless.
bro. profits today on this strategy. then went back and charted out other favorite stocks on the 5min, there were multiple trades to the upside and to the downside that retested the opening range. I dont wanna get overly excited but thank you for this video!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for the video. I have a question. What is considered a significant break below or above the highs and lows? percentage? dollar amount? 1 or 2candles?
Looks like it tends to be one particularly steep candle that as a result creates an imbalance (where the retracement into this touches the opening range). It’s like fair value gap logic applied to an opening range. Fair enough if it works though
Thank You for this video ! What constitutes a "strong displacement" ? how far out of the range or for how much time out of the range creates that ? thanks
I’ve been a strong advocate of trading too, as it has yielded significant returns since I first ventured into it. Over the past two years, my net worth has grown exponentially.
Herman Jonas, a licensed FA has undoubtedly helped me make so much progress. He has guided me to identify key stocks, (options and futures) for the short term and Roth IRA, index funds, cryptocurrency, and ETFs, for the long term pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessments, ensuring that my decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.
Do not forget that when it comes to the trading, prices can be erratic, rising and declining quickly, often in relation to companies' policies, which individual investors do not influence.
I just have to applaud your content man, well done. Long term investors know that the market and economy will recover eventually, and investors should be positioned for such a rebound. I gained $180k from bitcoin in 2021 before the market crash and now I'm buying again, adding more at a time. Having a good financial advisor like Veronica Hoy, it will add to your success in the crypto market.
Absolutely, I tried the live casino the other night. It's like they've brought the whole casino experience to the screen. Did you have a favorite table
He traded in hindsight lol! His idea of 'strong displacement' was weaker when the video first starts and then he needed more movement later cause he saw it would be a losing trade. Then again towards the end, he accepted another displacement that was the even weaker than the earlier one he rejected . Watch the whole video again and pay attention to the second back test and then the last backtest.
I went over NQ and it doesn't seem all that great. Works maybe 50% chance at best and when it doesn't you'll end up taking a huge loss. It needs a lot of tweaking and knowing what days to pick to use this strategy and even then it might not be worth the hassle. There will be so many days the market just chops in the 1st 30 min and it'll hit your SL before your profit target. But then again, if it was so great there be no need to share it. He'll be making millions in the market. Market open is just too unpredicatable to come up with a great consistent strategy. You be better off just avoiding the 1st 30 minutes.
What is considered a strong displacement value in terms of points/ticks? Also, have you found it successful to wait for the retest candle to close and wait for movement on the candle following the retest?
When I see good videos like this I usually take out my time to appreciate the experts that make these videos possible, it is not easy to help lots of people earn money
Hey man good stuff..I want to ask what is the platform you use there where you can just open and close a stop loss or profit take box..when you do that does it officially change within your trade? Or is that just a guide in the platform for you …thanks
@@JdubTrades how long do you wait for that pullback? also, buying anywhere in that opening range (or shorting) would be okj correct? the thesis is that the opening range is providing the direction for the day so a bounce to the upside and a pullback a few hrs later within that range can be bought as the theory is the day is still bullish if the initial break was to the upside correct?
Thanks for the great video. One point to clarify: it seems you entered the trade at the closer of the 5 min candle that had a touch back to the opening range, but not exactly at the high or low of the range ?
I just literally watched a video of a guy who just got a 150k funded account using this strategy and got clapped. He was waiting for the retest to bounce off of support and it just dumped all the way through and clapped him. That might work for some but not everyone. I’d be careful y’all. Still gave like, good content.
There is plenty of different break and retest setups. With the break and retest there is about 10-15 BnR setups. When trading the break and retest you can't just look for any break and retest. You have to be able to find high probability points of interest with multiple confluences.
Sounds like terrible risk management to me. There is no such thing as a perfect strategy so sounds like your guy didn't know his strategy at all. At least, not his risk management component of his strategy!
@@realistic7894 I think that’s its layers to trading. And I think videos like this doesn’t give full context of the dangers and how to minimize the risk.
I usually look up your videos for updates! Our government has no idea how people are suffering these days. I feel for people with disabilities not getting the help they deserve. Thank you Ms Rachael Campbell, imagine investing $12,000 and received $305,500.
Ms Rachael Campbell was my hope during the 'bear summer' last year. I did so many mistakes but also learned so much from it, and of course from Rachael Campbell

6:07 that level was probably in line with some other notable level; previous day’s close, a previously strong VWAP level, a time where high frequency trading bots kicked into high gear, etc
You can wait for confirmation but that might equal less RR but higher winrate and if you don’t wait you will have lower winrate and larger RR. It’s all up to you.
Thanks for a great video .. would you mind sharing the details of the session indicator that you use and its setting to pick the right m5 candle of 9:30 ?
Week 1: Lost 2, Won 3 Week 2: Won 3, Lost 1, No Trade 1 Week 3: Won 2, Lost 2, No Trade 1 Week 4: No Trade 3, Won 1, Lost 1 Wins: 9 ($1700) Losses: 6 ($600) Draws: 3 ($0) Total Profit: $1100 a week *Reward:Risk Ratio = 2:1 or 1.5:1
But I also follow rough guidelines of RSI positioning and MA. So, these enhance my winning trades. Without the indicators, I might have more losses. Fyi haha
This time last year I considered crypto without much knowledge and decided to have a consultation with a fiduciary, and it was incredibly insightful. I got into the market with 15k, One year and a couple of months in, and I’m up with 550k. I truly cannot stress enough how helpful experts in this field are!
How can one start, most times people don't know where to start when it comes to crypto. But it would be great if you can provide proper guidance on steps to follow please
As a beginner investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Myself, I’m guided by Coach Richard Abayo. A widely known crypto consultant
I started working with Coach Richard Abayo back in August, and my financial goals have never been clearer. It’s like having a strategic partner for my money with a solid track record.

I will be forever be Liable to you, you have Transformed my entire life and I continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear that with just a little investment you saved me from going into huge financial crisis. Thank you Angie Chen Owens
Great video, thanks! Two questions though… 1) What is “strong displacement”? It seems subjective. When you back test, you seem to ignore some breakouts but trade others. There should be a numerical rule. 2) Have you actually backtested a system enough times to make sure it’s a winner? That last example is actually a loss. Not a “less than 2x gain”. You can’t see the future when trading, so you can’t change the rules on the fly. That’s a stop out.
Great question @yiyoguerra. You can use a momentum filter on your highest timeframe to anticipate strong displacement. But it basically means a "break below close below" the opening range in this example :)
Hi, yiyoguerra. It's true that you can't see the future when trading, but you can change the rules on the fly if you design your system to do that. I recommend trading two systems simultaneously--one that trades strict, and one that trades with flexibility. Instead of using only one version of the system and giving it control of 1R of risk, use two versions of it with each one controlling 0.5R. You could also use three versions of the system giving each one control of 0.33R of risk. Your results over time will be much smoother that way--trust me. ;)
Well explained. Thanks for bringing up the video. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject.
Most people think, investing in crypto is all about buying coins and leaving it to rise, come on it takes much analysis to be a successful crypto trader.
You're right! I have lost a lot trading all by myself without a guide. It's been an uneasy ride for me. Who is your mentor please. how can i reach her i really need help in this bear market now?
@@JdubTrades If there is a news release expected, would you wait until the news settles down and thus delay entry based on the previous original set up (9:30 candle)? Thanks in advance : )
Fantastic video! Your easy scalping strategy is not only simple but also highly effective. I appreciate how you break down each step clearly and make it accessible for beginners. The emphasis on avoiding bias and relying on mechanical rules is a game-changer. Keep up the great work!
I’m newbie in trading and really having hard time to understand the market but after watched this and also been testing this strat for 5 days and yes it’s really working 😃 thank you so soooo muchhhhh❤
when you’re picking the 2-1 risk/reward, does it matter what amount you choose or is it just what you’re comfortable with? i genuinely appreciate your videos thank you
I'm sure this is a rookie question but, could someone please explain about "strong displacement"? It seemed from the video that we want a candle that closes above or below the five minute high and low, but how far above or below? Does it need to close outside or just move outside? Also, is there a limit on how long that retest can take before we decide there is no trade?
I strongly recommend Expert Rosie as the most proficient trader I’ve worked alongside. She expertly manages my forex account and consistently delivers impressive profits.
She trades for me too. My first investment with Mrs Rosie gave me profit over $25,000 and ever since then I trade with her and it has been a good turn up
Great video thank you! My question is as follows. Once you identify displacement and price retest your entry zone, do you have a limit order already in place waiting to be tapped into the trade or are you manually executing the trade? Everything else was clear. I will test and give you feedback in our discord. 🙏👍
I will personally go on the 1 Minute timeframe and wait for a tap into the ORB Retest level. Since we trade with options it will be difficult to calculate the options price perfectly in a short period of time
Stop at bos. To calculate the risk there is a bunch of factors like dollar amount. You can calculate theta, etc. I can possibly make a video on this in the future.
What video should I watch first to start? Newbie and I took stuff like this in college but it’s been a minute. I subscribed because I feel this guys honest and not afraid to share his success.
Hey Jdub, love your vids sir , can you or anyone here share what program or what overlay is being used when you hovered the cursor near the trade that reflects the red/ green profit / loss boxes . thats awesome . Sry older boomer newbie here . ( time stamp 6.58)
On the 2nd day, the 3rd candle clearly goes below the low. Then according to the rule you would enter as soon as it touched the low again as a retest. But you just ignored it, knowing it would continue up and just made some excuse about it going up too fast. Until I see you trade this strategy life, with real money, it is not good enough for me. But I appreciate the video. It gave me some other ideas.
I think you may have misunderstood. The trading plan. You're not just looking for a breakout,.. It is a breakout with continuation. In this case that you're describing, there was no continuation, thus, it was not a valid setup.
While this is a great trading plan, my only issue is putting the stop loss exactly on top of the range boundary. Price seeks those boundaries in and will often wick you out. Need to put just a little bit of extra stop loss past the range boundary
I always say it time to time that as a trader we must surely take advantages of every market we find ourselves. And at the moment trust me when i say bitcoin day trading is at its peak now. Coach James Whisman Wes has been of great important in the crypto world with his accurate predictions. 5 stars!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is really insightful! It’s great to hear about the success you've had with Coach James Whisman’ guidance. I’ve been looking to start myself and would love to learn more about his approach. Where can I find him, and is there a particular way to get started?
Tnx, i am currently testing this strategy but on different time zone (Europe) and 15M frame. Looks 70% winrate but when psychology join to party i don't wait for Take Profit and close my position early (( This is sad and i need to work with this weak point.
Investing in a stock may look straightforward, but choosing the right stock without a proven technique can be difficult. I've been attempting to grow my $210,000 portfolio for a while, but the largest impediment is a lack of defined entry and exit strategy. Any input on this matter would be highly appreciated.
The strategies are rigorous for the regular person. In fact, they are primarily executed successfully by professionals who possess a great deal of expertise and knowledge to carry out such trades effectively.

Now, I watch market trends and keep things basic and disciplined. I currently earn an average of $35k every week, despite the fact that I barely trade myself Thanks Rolando Diaz....

You're right! I have lost a lot trading all by myself without a guide. It's been an uneasy ride for me. Who is your mentor please. how can i reach him i really need help in this bear market now?
I like the concept and it works well as long as the breakout candle isn't news related and as long as there isn't some sort of big resistance area close by after the re-test like vwap or a key level.
So once you have identified your break and retest, whether it would be to the upside or downside, are you buying calls/puts based on the direction? If so then you placing a stop loss/profit taking indicator on your buy at double on the profit and half on the loss of what you paid? For example if you entered a call/put at 0.20 are you setting your profit taking at 0.40 and your stop loss at 0.10?
This is for the folks not understanding what strong displacement means....the candle needs to be convincing in the direction. Its gonna be different depending what you see. You keep waiting for 100% strategies...youll be on the sidelines until you die.

How can i make money from investing?
There are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy situation, but such execution is usually carried out by an investment specialist.
True, As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a guardian to keep you accountable. I'm guided by Amelia Louise Adams.

The issue is most people have the 'I will do it myself' mentality but are not skilled enough. Ideally, advisors are perfect reps for investing jobs, and in my first-hand experience, my portfolio has yielded over 350% since the COVID outbreak to date, summing up nearly $1m.
How can I make good profit as a beginner starting with £5000
As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a guardian to keep you accountable. I'm guided by Stephany Reuben
Don't rush in rather seek expertise like Stephany Reuben. Growing a portfolio is complex
I racked up so much losses trying it on my own. Steph really saved me from myself
Finding someone truly skillful is hard. I'm happy to see that a lot of people found Stephany

I watched this video on Monday started using this strategy and so far no loss. I love how simple and effective this strategy is.
Are you in the uk?
yea i watched it last week and its been solid! excited!
@@cygnevara8400 same here! i always traded the break and retest but the ORB is a new way for me and im liking it, what ive done to really make it solid is mainly play the direction of the overall trend we are in , i feel more confident that way. so far its been great!
LIES! UA-cam will be like eBay. Too much corruption and lies.
did u go with the 1min or 5min chart?
I want to begin investing but require some help. Do you have any advice or suggestions for assistance?
It's wise to seek expert assistance when beginning your financial portfolio. It's intricate, so professional guidance is key.
Consulting with finance pros, such as Della Martin, can be a savvy way to revamp your portfolio. They offer the know-how to guide your choices.
I ensured to spread my $25,000 across various markets for better diversification.
By investing in high-dividend stocks, ETFs, and equity, I made a net profit of about $115k. It's been a successful venture!
You truly require someone like Della Martin, a dependable trader, to achieve it.
I'm surprised that this name is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon one of his clients testimonies on CNBC news last week...
I started working with Alex Mathew back in June, and my financial goals have never been clearer. It’s like having a strategic partner for my money with a solid track record.
So how can I get in touch with Alex Mathew anyone?
I don't even know where the stock market is headed to right now. my portfolio of around 200k is not increasing more than 5% and people are predicting a crash
I'd advice you redistribute assets in your portfolio with the help of a pro so you don't get burnt by the market
I'm interested in trying this out. Who is your advisor, and how can I contact them?
She's Dianne Sarah Olson by name. please do your own research to see if she is suitable with your goals.
just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. thanks for info
this video is the real game changer...My ORB strategy failed as I never waited for the retest. after watching this video my ORB strategy has been perfected!
Glad it was helpful!
06:28 Why not SHORT after price retests the ORB bottom line?
07:44 Placed SHORT order just as the price retests the ORB bottom line.
What's the difference between the two cases? You might say first one, price move was not strong enough, but then what does it mean to be strong "precisely"?
He is not using price action at all 😂
Wow - thank you very much for this strategy. I would say to add in resistance levels, and the 9 ema. Also, if you are on the 5 minute, check the 3 minute, (possibly the 2 minute, but I don't have access to that), maybe the 1 minute before making your entry.
Not sure what you trading but the Opening Range is 09:30-10:00 and that's the high and low that should be marked up if you trading Opening Range.
I back tested this and lost overall
that's what i was saying...it's not gonna work.
Period
@@Austin-n8pyou have to try. Put yourself out there and test things. See what works for YOU

Nice work! Keep backtesting and refining the strategy!
have you already backtested some more days than 7?
I suggest you try it on NQ. It could give you more money due to its higher volatility.
@@JdubTrades what happens when there is a runaway at open like an lower or higher open and it just breaksout in that direction w no pullback?
7 days is nothing. And an ORB will never work long term, if it did, everybody would be doing it (and then it wouldn't work either).
With a 50/50 win rate and a 2/1 risk to reward ratio you’re still going to be profitable. He even states this at the end of the video
why are you stating that a coin toss (50/50) strategy wouldn't be profitable over the long term if setting our take profit and stop loss at a 2 to 1 ratio? Mathematically, the breakeven with a 2 to 1 take profit to stop loss strategy is a 33.33% win rate. So, if the win rate were 50%, this would be profitable over the long term.
Hi Chris. I like your thoughtful feedback. Have you found any good strategies that work well in backtesting?

She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

what’s your opinion now on this strategy? i was thinking same recently its done really well but the more i backtest the less consistent it gets
I took a loss on this play on tsm but the strategy played out perfectly if only I would have believed what the charts were telling me. Lesson learned

What did stocks did you use it on?
Thank you for the video. I have a question. What is considered a significant break below or above the highs and lows? percentage? dollar amount? 1 or 2candles?
Looks like it tends to be one particularly steep candle that as a result creates an imbalance (where the retracement into this touches the opening range). It’s like fair value gap logic applied to an opening range. Fair enough if it works though
Thank You for this video ! What constitutes a "strong displacement" ? how far out of the range or for how much time out of the range creates that ? thanks
Every family has that one person who will break the family financial struggle I hope you become the one 😏
I back tested this from January of this year, the results are not good. I lost an average of 8 out of 10. If it works for you though.. go right ahead.

Btw what market do you trade on? I've been looking at the bar at 8:30 find it more reliable signal, does this method works on EMINI? Or NQ?
I’ve been a strong advocate of trading too, as it has yielded significant returns since I first ventured into it. Over the past two years, my net worth has grown exponentially.
Not everyone is as lucky as you are. I want to give it a shot by I'm confused by all the info out there. How are you able to do it?
Herman Jonas, a licensed FA has undoubtedly helped me make so much progress. He has guided me to identify key stocks, (options and futures) for the short term and Roth IRA, index funds, cryptocurrency, and ETFs, for the long term pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessments, ensuring that my decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.
Do not forget that when it comes to the trading, prices can be erratic, rising and declining quickly, often in relation to companies' policies, which individual investors do not influence.

Can you define what displacement means to you? To me displacement means when a FVG is formed . Please advise. Thank you and love your style.
Correct best form of displacement is when a FVG is formed.
What is a "FVG"? Thanks
Here's a question. Time in force for the trade? How long before you expire the trade to make the long or short?
I am interested to know what instruments work best and the exposure level required for a worthwhile return
I just have to applaud your content man, well done. Long term investors know that the market and economy will recover eventually, and investors should be positioned for such a rebound. Absolutely, I tried the live casino the other night. It's like they've brought the whole casino experience to the screen. Did you have a favorite table
Great video, I like how you back tested additional days to show that realistically there will be losses too.
Yes no strategy is going to have an 100% win rate. Even if you have a 50% winrate with a 1:2 RR, you will be very profitable.

Which opening is it about? London ? New York? Asia?
Please is it the first 5Min Candle of London Open?
@@JdubTrades how long do you wait for that pullback? also, buying anywhere in that opening range (or shorting) would be okj correct? the thesis is that the opening range is providing the direction for the day so a bounce to the upside and a pullback a few hrs later within that range can be bought as the theory is the day is still bullish if the initial break was to the upside correct?
So where's the entry? Is it right as price touches and retests the range break area? Or do you wait for confirmation candles?
This is on the 5 Min so you can go onto the 1 min and look for entries.
Which market opening do you recommend? 😊
Thanks for the great video. One point to clarify: it seems you entered the trade at the closer of the 5 min candle that had a touch back to the opening range, but not exactly at the high or low of the range ?
The best area to buy is as close as to the Opening Candle high or low. I was on the 5 min so you can go onto the 1 minute for more precise entries
Excellent summary of your ORB retest strategy. It's more conservative than the traditional ORB, which often reverses on me.
You have to be able to find high probability points of interest with multiple confluences.
damn wtf
What's the big deal if you have one losing trade? That's what stops are for.

You can wait for confirmation but that might equal less RR but higher winrate and if you don’t wait you will have lower winrate and larger RR. It’s all up to you.

The first time we had tried, we invested $1400 and after a week we received $4,230. That really helped us a lot to pay our bills.
How to you pick stocks to watch at open for this strategy? The most volume, volatility?
Great video, thanks! Two questions though…
1) What is “strong displacement”?
Your results over time will be much smoother that way--trust me. ;)
On the 2nd day back test, why didn't you try to short when price retested the lower line? (The low of the first 5 min candle )

What source/platform did you use to earn such a large sum of money?
As I know it's possible, I'd appreciate it if you showed me how to do it.
It was with the help of Cassandra Roberts i am who i am today
I know I'm blessed if not I wouldn't have met someone who is as spectacular as Mrs Cassandra Roberts
Just one question, is this strategy to be applied in the general opening of the market or in the opening of NY?
Great video once again! How do you determine your stop loss on options?
Stop at bos. To calculate the risk there is a bunch of factors like dollar amount. You can calculate theta, etc. I can possibly make a video on this in the future.
@@JdubTrades YESSSS PLEASE!!! can you break down theta and how you go about this~
@@cygnevara8400 Theta is available on ThinkorSwim
What video should I watch first to start? Newbie and I took stuff like this in college but it’s been a minute. I subscribed because I feel this guys honest and not afraid to share his success.
Thank you for explaining so well. Thank you 🙏. I will follow it and see how it works for couple of days .
Best of luck!
I'm from the Philippines 9:30am of what time zone? London?
@@1billyjcraw looked like the same type of continuation you were observing on the other trades.
@@cgb1394 I suppose continuation is subjective but I would want more than just one follow-on candle after the breakout.
While this is a great trading plan, my only issue is putting the stop loss exactly on top of the range boundary. Price seeks those boundaries in and will often wick you out. Need to put just a little bit of extra stop loss past the range boundary
Great video but can you tell the time zone you are referring to 9:30 as we have different time zones in different countries
9:30AM EST
is the time 9:30 EST?
I always say it time to time that as a trader we must surely take advantages of every market we find ourselves. And at the moment trust me when i say bitcoin day trading is at its peak now. This is really insightful! It’s great to hear about the success you've had with Coach James Whisman’ guidance. I’ve been looking to start myself and would love to learn more about his approach. Where can I find him, and is there a particular way to get started?
This is his official Telegrams 🚀🚀

I'll text him right away and get started ✍✍✍………. Yes, this is the right time to get into day trading. 👍👏😘
@sarsomaz
Absolutely! Real growth happens when you go in with a plan. Getting serious about the right approach really makes a difference!
Tnx, i am currently testing this strategy but on different time zone (Europe) and 15M frame. Looks 70% winrate but when psychology join to party i don't wait for Take Profit and close my position early (( This is sad and i need to work with this weak point.
I have used this strategy and had success in two days in a row so far. It is easy to use, and relatively low stress. Thank you!
What are you trading? Do you use the 1-minute or the 5-minute?
Hello, I am from Latin America and I have a question. I would like to know in which instruments do you apply the strategy?
hello, can this strategy be used for crypto? if so, how would you recommend using it since the crypto market is always open?
Not sure about crypto. It works best for indices and stocks. Since the market is 24/7 the only time I see it working is when a new day forms.
I've noticed that bitcoin and oil tend to get volume at 9am eastern time
@@JdubTrades which indes and stcoks do you recommend using it on?
Very well done brother. Nucely explained and executed.. Thanks
what tool are you using to re-play stock market like that? and what tool do you use to actually make the trades?
Trading View
Investing in a stock may look straightforward, but choosing the right stock without a proven technique can be difficult. I've been attempting to grow my $210,000 portfolio for a while, but the largest impediment is a lack of defined entry and exit strategy. Any input on this matter would be highly appreciated.
The strategies are rigorous for the regular person. In fact, they are primarily executed successfully by professionals who possess a great deal of expertise and knowledge to carry out such trades effectively.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financlal future and i'm eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?
I just Googled her name and her website came up right away. It looks interesting so far. I sent her an email and i hope she responds soon.
Why did you use SPY?
Like how do you choose what to look at or back check?
Large volume?
It took me four years to discover that forecasting the market based on charts is pointless; you never know what will happen. Without a mentor, those four years were miserable. Now, I watch market trends and keep things basic and disciplined. I currently earn an average of $35k every week, despite the fact that I barely trade myself Thanks Rolando Diaz....
Trading in Bitcoin now is the wisest thing to do now especially newbies beginner....
Yes, the crypto market is really taking off and Bitcoin is in good shape to start trading now
Well...I will advise you should stop trading on your own if you keep losing and start trading with an expert because trading with an expert is the best strategy for newbie...
You're right! I have lost a lot trading all by myself without a guide. It's been an uneasy ride for me. Who is your mentor please. how can i reach him i really need help in this bear market now?
he's mostly on Whasapp using the No...
@ 6:56 How did you get that floating profit tab with the long position
I like the concept and it works well as long as the breakout candle isn't news related and as long as there isn't some sort of big resistance area close by after the re-test like vwap or a key level.
Yes if you add more confluences and higher timeframe key level you will know which ones to take and avoid.
So once you have identified your break and retest, whether it would be to the upside or downside, are you buying calls/puts based on the direction? If so then you placing a stop loss/profit taking indicator on your buy at double on the profit and half on the loss of what you paid? For example if you entered a call/put at 0.20 are you setting your profit taking at 0.40 and your stop loss at 0.10?
great thx. can you do live trades?
