It's a nice reference, but at this point I don't think it means anything special. ToG is such a long and complex series right now that expecting the author to go on to explain its multiverse is a lot to ask, especially now that he takes occasional breaks due to health problems.
Just to be sure for people who didn’t read the webtoon, Return of the prince is a set up arc for the next one so don’t expect insane stuff yet but it’s one hell of good arc but next one and onwards are non stop top tier arcs

Not that you don't know, but I feel I have to say that the reason why they're sticking to calling Bam Yoru it's because Bam men's night in Korean, and it seems to be very important to the story, therefore the Japanese anime is calling him Yoru, which is the Japanese for night. But I'm actually glad they don't do that with solo leveling.

In the manhwa bam was considered dead until some point in s2. I mean you could kinda make an educated guess still with what what jvc looked. They also showed jvg eye later in the webtoon from what i remember. Thats the single thing i disliked about the anime. But i guess its harder to keep it a secret with trailers and stuff and also maybe being afraid of loosing viewers cause of the supposed death. I just sells better i guess.
Tower of god season 2 turn into s1 or classroom of the elite s1 to s3 type mid adaptation again. But i don't mind beacuse atleast better than the promise neverland season 2 and tokyo ghoul re . They adapt same as 90% to 93% or max 94% webtoon source material and cut some minor scene / dialogue . Iam supporting tog s2 anime beacuse i want more tower of god anime season in the future .
