She was just using him to get access to the tower. Then she became jealous of his potential and betrayed him. She is literally the worst person ever.
Why would you mention him being in the cave for thousands of years?
I think bams been alone for a long time (6 years) and wagnam was probably one of the first people to interact with him since Season 1 and it reminded him of the relationships he used to have to Khun and Rachel.
Probably reading too much into it but the Khun-Wangnan-Rachel thing at the end I think is just there to show he is unsure on how to treat these people.
He thinks about Khun, his best friend that he met during the test. Then compares him with Wangnan who's a goofier version but still shares the "we should work together" vibe. And then immediately he is reminded of Rachel, the ultimate betrayer, as if he was considering working with them but wouldn't because of what he experienced with her.
Actually to me that sounds like the perfect explanation, i think you nailed it 😄
6:50 the points they made in the tests is pretty much was translates into the currency they need to pay in order to be able to climb. Thats why Rachel ate the rotten apples in season 1 so she could preserve as many points as possible cause the thought that she might not be able to climb otherwise. Running out of points is the worst thing that can happen to you since it means that youre stuck. Especiialy if your struck on a floor without the possibility to aquire any new points.
The style of the first series was very close to the webtoon. Personally i prefer it that way but i guess to many ppl complained about it so they decided to change it for season 2.

it's crazy seeing people add spoiler warnings and then seeing what they wrote and its either a weird or even messed up interpretation of something, or they're entirely interjecting something we have absolutely no solid confirmation on, and even some stuff thats just fanfic. Basically just saying if you see a spoiler on accident, you might be lucky cause some of this stuff is just flat wrong

Tower of god season 2 turn into s1 or classroom of the elite s1 to s3 type mid adaptation again . But i don't mind beacuse atleast better than the promise neverland season 2 and tokyo ghoul re . They adapt same as 90% to 93% or max 94% webtoon source material and cut some minor scene / dialogue . Iam supporting tog s2 anime beacuse i want more tower of god anime season in the future .
