I’ve been to the city before just didn’t get to experience a lot of things, so hopefully when I meet my girlfriend for the first time, I will do all these things with her
Latin language are french, portuguese, spanish, italian and romanian. It's ironic that spanish is not longer speaking in the philipines and they consider themselves latinos. Other cities like Goa (India), Macao (China) Malacca (Malassia) or the own country of Timor Leste are more latin than you because portuguese still remain official, even Puducherry (India), Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia where french is still spoken until today could be more latin than Zamboanga. The title is wrong.
You sound ignorant. First of all we do not consider ourselves Latinos. Nobody in the Philippines identifies as latino. Zamboanga is called Philippine’s Latin city not only because of its Spanish roots and history but largely because of its dialect. Your comments tell me you haven’t heard Zamboanga’s native dialact “chavacano”. It quite literally is a spanish based creole dialect.
I forgot to mention that Chavacano is the only Spanish creole dialect In all of Asia. Just another reason why Zamboanga is called Philippine’s Latin city
@@bufalisterno3959 I don't think Zamboanga is the most Latin city in Asia, and the fact that the name of the place is Zamboanga City or City of Zamboanga instead of Ciudad de Zamboanga says it all. Even East Timor is more Latin than Zamboanga. And yes, I was aware of the existence of Chavacano, so I also know that it is currently a language that receives more influence from English because it is the most dominant language in the country.
