  • In this video, I show you how to create amazing fluid art using the Traveling Ring Pour method. In this video we use multiple layered cups to create a bright and beautiful abstract painting. This Video Marks the One Year Anniversary of the Michael's Making Art channel. This is a fun and easy acrylic pouring technique that anyone can try. Fluid art is a great way to express your creativity and make stunning abstract paintings. Watch the video and follow along with me as I demonstrate this fun technique.
This is my version of this style of painting, using light gold, bronze, metallic leaf green, aqua green, turquoise, metallic purple, light blue violet, ultramarine, silk blue, and titanium white as my paint colors. I love how these colors create a striking yet elegant effect on the canvas. You can use any colors you like, but I recommend using some pearlized or metallic paints to add some shine and contrast to your fluid art.
    Materials used:
    Acrylic Paints
    Pouring medium
    Plastic cups
    Stir sticks
    canvas
    Hair Dryer

Many congratulations on the 100th episode my friend. Looking forward to the next batch you produce for us. Love today's painting. I was quite surprised how much I liked the painting when you just put the paint down and I may have been tempted to stop there. However I also realised it was not practical to do so due to paint volume. I might try to recreate that with less paint so I don't have to tilt. Once again, you are an influence that makes me think creatively so thanks for everything you do. Happy 100th!

Thank you Debbie, the dry and the close up ended up the same ….. I let an hour go by so the pearls had time to develop before doing the close up❤️

Michael, how do you decide which paints go in which cups?

For multiple cup painting I like to have a plan, so depending on where I want certain colors that’s how I plan my cups out.❤️
