I realise it's a year since you posted this but, as I'll be on Borealis in January for 7 or 8 weeks, I thought I'd tell you how useful this is. We've already booked meals in the speciality restaurants, so your review here will be very helpful. We've sailed many times with Fred Olsen, but this will be our first time on Borealis. It all looks really inviting. Happy cruising!
Thank you, Jamie. Lucy and I was on Bolette in Aug ‘21 and Balmoral tomorrow. Will be on Borealis in May ‘24. But we always eat at the buffet on any ships. June
Every one of your videos make me laugh as your commentary appears so effortless and joyful. Thank you. I hope Matthew enjoys your style of humour otherwise he is true missing out on something very special. All the best.
Lovely review of the food on Fred Olsen. I don't think I will need to eat for the rest of the day now. My tummy feels full just watching. Surprised at the quality. Thanks.
My first cruise experience was 45 ish years ago, I think it was the Black Watch but it’s hazy. What I do remember is there being one of the worst storms in the Bay of Biscay a cruise ship has weathered, the swimming pool water hitting the ceiling of the inside pool, the staff being unbelievably amazing whilst looking terrified and us returning home to see it all in the sun newspaper…. Bloody loved it 😊😂
Oh my…. This is definitely for me!!! I never really been a MDR girl 😅but that buffet looks absolutely amazing 😊 yes this is definitely on my list of ships to do and it’s jumped very near the top!!! Xx
Love your blogs .Haven't been back to disney since covid can't wait to go back . Have never stayed in a disney hotel usually stay at hilton bonnet creek .But nice to see inside their hotels . Thank you.
Really informative video. Thank you. Considering between this ship, Aurora and Emerald Princess for a winter northern lights cruise 2025. This ship will be a definite contender. Looks cosy. The food choices look excellent and the speciality restaurant cover charges are very reasonable. Looks good.
I always enjoy your video Jamie as I love your sense of humour and you look like one of my Spanish friend (gay of course lol). My question is, can I order room service (B,L,D) every day if I want to or is there a limit to the amount of times? and is it included on the Bolette or do I need to pay extra? My first time cruising and solo this August. Second question is if I self disembark, can I still order breakfast in room? I have recently subscribed and looking forward to more of your antics, I am also booked on the P&O Arvia this December and will start looking for tips on that after my Bolette trip. Thanks so much for your reply.
You can’t order room service on disembarkation day, no. No limit to ordering room service otherwise. I haven’t been on Bolette but I imagine exactly same procedure as Borealis.
@@TravelBlogJamie thnx for replying Jamie, and I’m assuming it’s included in the price and not have to pay extra for ordering room service in Borealis? I wish you more success in the future and I look forward to all your other fun vlogs 🤗
wow the food !! I would never have guessed it was so good on Fred Olsen thanks for info
Welcome 🙏
30 minutes of watching me eat food on a 5 night cruise! What more could you want?! This is food the Fred Olsen way!
Do they do pizza

Awwww thank you so much! ❤️ Matthew and I have a mutual appreciation but I am veeery annoying filming all the time 😂
That is the best food review I've ever seen!👌🏻👏🏻💫
Aww thank you! I did food reviews on some of my other blogs of different cruise lines too ❤️❤️❤️
Lovely review of the food on Fred Olsen. I don't think I will need to eat for the rest of the day now. My tummy feels full just watching. Surprised at the quality. Thanks.
Haha! It’s a lot! The quality was excellent I must say ❤️
Great! I was thinking of doing a Fred Olsen and this has now convinced me.

The food on here was exceptional!
Phenomenal vlog! I can't wait to book my cruise due to this video!!! So we'll done! P.S. Lighten up Matthew! 😂
Thank you very much! So he’s not going to, hates being on camera 😂😂😂
There is nothing like Fred Olsen when it comes to service. My Nana never cruised with anyone else and my daughter point blank refuses!
Ha! Well I’ve certainly had service that matched Fred on some other cruise lines but it really was exceptional
¡Qué rico!
Hi, Jamie. It's looking like Fred Olsen as the next cruise for us. Do you know if the food standards are the same on the Bolette as here? Cheers!
I believe they are pretty much identical
I can confirm now. Same high standard on both ships. However, the burger on the borealis's pool side area was a better IMHO.

Very informative and all looks delicious. Wondering why some buffet servers though it ok to wear their mask UNDER their chins.
They don’t have to wear masks - it’s their choice. Maybe they were just uncomfortable at that time. 🤔
Supper Club……you missed the Supper Club…wings and fish after the Quiz and few beers in the observatory…
Alas I can’t eat fish so the menu was very limited for me
❤❤❤
🎉
Does Maffoo ever get a word in?
Wow …
Omg I typed maffoo and my phone changed it to maggot 🥺🤣
😂😂😂
Maggot and Hobo
