Thanks for the video! I traded my 2016 Mustang convertible in towards this a few months ago. Kid outgrew the back seat. The 5N has more seating space than our old Q5 (wife traded that in for the EV9). And we are loving how the 5N drives.
9:33 this was probably the first time ive heard outside of how the car sounds and it sounds sooooo cool. Inside it sounds video game but complete opposite outside. Interesting!!!
The N brand is such a treat for car enthusiasts. I believe every car person should support Hyundai going forward, they really are pushing the limits, & now they are doing that with the Ioniq 5N with the EV market. I just picked up an I20N & one thing I did wish the N cars had is the Performance Blue colour on its seatbelts 😂
it really is amazing how hyundai went from being a joke when they first came out to making great vehicles that a lot of people really like. They arent my cup of tea but they have great styling and they offer solid power options in many of the vehicles.
G’day saw your video on the new Hyundai Q5. It looks really nice. Just wondering if you can do a part two on that car on how much will cost to buy and all the pros and cons about it. Appreciate it. Bye.
I'd love to see the Pikes Peak event, I've been to the IOM a few times and enjoyed that, but the Pikes is mental too, my mate Rennie broke the record up there on a KTM 1290 Duke a few years ago. amazing to watch the on board of that.
@@BeckyEvans Yup, for me, that's where EV's really work. Nice big comfy/luxury motor, nice and quiet, limitless torque. Would make for a nice replacement for my 4.4 TDV8 diesel L322 when the time comes. The Santa Fe looks like a step in the right direction!
At the end of the day EVs can be programmed to behave how ever you want. You just need to know how to program them. So rather than being a mechanic you need to be a programmer to get whatever performance you want out of them. It's probably the most uder rated point of EVs........ Those sounds being pipped in are very 90s racing games though, not sure how i feel about them 🫤 Why can't they use prroper recordings from real engine's??
I make a lot of independent content and I work with a few brands, it is just the way I do business. I understand if it is not for you, but if you like me then you have to understand that this part of it. I work with brands in order to pay for my own projects to make content on :)
I was going to say, I like the style of presenting and she is producing interesting content even if it is promoting/showcasing a brand - such as this or the sixt rental video. Much more interesting than trying to slap a 2 minute advert in between an un-related video like most UA-camrs do. At least it is all related and not some other mobile game or hello fresh!
Becky just so you know, this IONIQ 5 N is also an environmental polluter just like all electric cars are. Just because these run on batteries it is good for the environment, which is a big lie. These electric cars are built with batteries and substances like graphite that are needed to make these batteries. They want to start a graphite mine outside Vittangi in northern Sweden, which will initially be as big as 344 football pitches, thus destroying lots of forests, waterways, animal life and people. Because mines become great wounds that can never be restored. The same applies when you have mining to produce lithium, nickel, manganese and cobalt. There are also mines that you have to bring this out. Trying to tell, so that someone understands, is not easy, but go to the mines that extract these substances and you will see how even electric cars destroy nature. So I think it's a shame that you have Becky with this environmental destroyer that electric cars are.
@UKMechanic When you don't know anything about fuel, batteries, you should give a damn about expressing yourself. There are already today better alternatives than these batteries, which also become rolling bombs, because a small collision that causes little damage to the car, however, can activate so the batteries overheat. In Sweden today, the fire brigade is called out when an electric car has been involved in a collision to check with a thermal imaging camera so that the batteries do not start to overheat. Many electric cars that have been involved in a small crash but continue to drive as the damage to the car is small but do not know that the damaged batteries have been activated to overheat which ends in a car fire. There are several examples posted here on UA-cam about this. Then the toxins that spread in the event of a fire are more dangerous than car exhaust and the fires cannot be extinguished. As far as alternative fuels are concerned, there are already today synthetic fuels that are environmentally friendly. Sweden is developing a couple of them, Porsche has built a facility in Chile that produces environmentally friendly fuel. F1 is developing environmentally friendly fuel for racing engines, Ferrari is developing synthetic environmentally friendly fuel. Then there is a company in Belgium, if I remember correctly, that has also developed environmentally friendly fuel that works directly to refuel in already fossil fueled cars without damaging the engine. Rolls Royce aviation engine has developed environmentally friendly aviation fuel that will start to be used in 2030. At the same time, there are other aircraft manufacturers that are also developing synthetic environmentally friendly fuel. Those who do fuel for flights stay in Qatar and fly there when they fly over desert areas. So put down your bullshit that speaks only of your ignorance.
You've fallen for the same lies that every other EV hater has fallen for. Are EVs environmentally friendly? No. But over the lifetime of the car, they are environmetally friendlier than a car with an internal combustion engine. Do EVs catch fire? Some do. To be precise, until the end of 2023, since EVs became a thing again with the Tesla Roadster, 48 EVs worldwide caught fire. Guess what? In the same time frame more ICE cars caught fire. Just saying. And just remember, while yes, the mining for the battery materials isn't green at all, neither is drilling and fracking for oil. Wars have been fought for oil. Oil fields have been set on fire as war fare stategies. Despite that, think about what it takes until you get your gasoline to burn up in your ineffective car. Thousands of kilometers away, the oil is drilled for. Then giant oil tankers, that burns tens of thousands of gallons of diesel take the crude oil to refineries half around the globe. The refineries have to run on electricity produced by oil, coal, gas and their only green source nuclear power, because they can't handle the fluctuations renewables would cause. Now, while those giant tankers go back to the oil fields empty and the oil has been refined, tanker trucks, which burn diesel, take the gasoline and diesel to the gas stations. And now, for you to get your fuel, which one of the two it might be, you drive your car, BURNING even more fuel, just to fill up and then burn some more fuel to get home. Do you really think, that that is the better solution? EVs are not the final solution. They are but a step towards real environmentally friendly personal transpirtation. But technllogy has to evolve. It can't jump 20 steps of developement. There is, btw., a very good video by Engineering Explained, doing the math of when an EV starts having less of a carbon footprint than an ICE. And surprise, surprise, it's faster than people like you would dare to admit. He even factors in production and various electricity mixes in the US, because, well, he lives in the US and the power grid varies quite a lot from state to state.
Thanks for the video!

My Veloster N got it ;)
The Ioniq 5N seems like one of the very few EV's actually targeted towards petrolheads... Not bad for a first attempt!
It’s honestly really good fun to drive!
not bad ?😂 it's a dope
Not bad??? It's awesome
its mind blowing for first attempt...other great automakers are so impressed that now they are trying to imitate this car.
That is Hyundai first electric N brand car. I am expecting following N EVs.
This is the first EV I've actually been tempted by 😮
Happiness machine! 😍 So excited about you loving the IONIQ 5 N experience ❤

Just awesome Becky! best sounds from an EV EVER! and love the up/down change simulation. love it! :-)
Glad you like it!
Nice! What a Stunner 🎉
Both Hyundai 5N won their respective class.
Very good and informative video. Thanks a lot

The Ioniq N trailers were parked right next door to my house before this event , on the west side up by broadmoor bluffs.
First Electric car I would like to get to drive!
So refreshing to watch a review by someone that can actually pronounce hyundai correctly
Colorado looks amazing 🔥🔥
It’s such a beautiful place 🥹
It is. Year round.
Great review Becky. Thx
Honestly, more interested in the Santa Fe than the Ioniq... maybe I'm old, haha :)
I won't like, I absolutely loved the Santa Fe!

The only EV I would have
👌👌
Awesome
Ioniq 5N or something like an ICE Macan Turbo for a mornings drive down a bunch of B roads?
Someone needs to tell Hyundai to make the engine sound of the pikes peak cars available for the Ioniq 5N
I’m from Indiana…. Have you done Indy 500? Love from Hoosier land ….❤
Colly bby 😎👍🥳
What about the scenery, Becky?
if Hyundai puts this tech in their future i30s, that's my electric-era daily driver sorted out
Next should be ioniq 6N it would be more i40 sized though.
You look really cute in the introduction photo.
Thanks 😅
Don't forget Ron broke the record too. Great video.
Absolutely! What a great weekend 🙏🏻
자연경관이 너무 아름답군요~~
용(dragon?)
A Brit not pronouncing it Hye-un-die?? I'm shocked!
This car is not just a car that mimics a gasoline car. This car is proven by direct records.
SUV? It's a car. An electric car trying to emulate a petrol car? Praise indeed for ICE
electricery
It is acctually simple to make fake shifts and torque characteristics according fake rpms. Why are everyone looking at at as some miracle?

Literally the only electric car ive ever considered buying..nd i hate electric cars
hyundai elec city
Is this a paid promotion?
Is your comment? 😂
I didn't think you'd like electric cars
I try stuff, and this one was a real surprise to me!
Never ever will I fall for the EV
..and that is okay!

Yeah cool car but when the warranty on the battery runs out its worthless land fill disposable junk
