Fritz was also in a band called Victory with Herman Frank. They have one of the best albums I have ever heard called "Culture Killed The Native". You have to check it out!!!
This is a pretty muscular solo for Fritz's standards. The man is a beast and can play pretty much everything. I know him quite well, in particular I appreciate his work with Eloy. Believe me, he can be way more refined and technical, if only he wants. Here he is trying to excite the crowd, and his style is conformed on Saxon's heavy playing.

Fritz randow war in den 80`und 90`wohl einer der besten Metaldrummer in Deutschland! Hat u.a. bei Epitaph und Victory getrommelt! Finde aber acuh, dass er spieltechnisch in die "Jahre" gekommen ist! Außerdem ist sein Set komplett getriggert !! Dat scheint im Metal wohl mittlerweile Standard zu sein ! Fazit: Für den Laien spektakulär, für jemanden vom Fach Basics, und die auch noch lauwarm!

@ranger94 Naja so klasse ist das solo jetzt nicht wirklich technisch nicht unbedingt schwer klar beeindruckend für die die Laien im Thema schlagzeug sind aber für mich da ich selbst schlagzeuger bin ist es nicht allzu schwer ... aber egal :D nur zu dem mit dem 32tel und 64tel :D das kannst du so leider nicht genau sagen :D auf der double bass ist das eher langsam und es müssen auch keine 32tel sein könnten genauso gut nur 4tel sein wenn das Temp 220 oder ähnliches ist :D
früher, als er es gelernt hat, war es noch nicht so mit fingertechnik wie heute...es gibt 2techniken die man lernen kann. handgelenk, finger. heutzutage ists ja beides vereint. bei black metal und wirklich sehr schnellem drummen ist das gut zu sehen. er hat handgelenke gelernt...das ist kein nachteil, einfach anders. so, wie die klassische stickhaltung anders ist

Aber egal, ist meine Meinung, muss nicht eure sein. Ich habe mir nur viele Solos angehört und die meisten sind sich ziemlich ähnlich, desshalb, ein Solo wie jedes andere auch, kein Wunder höhrte ich noch nie davon...

Fritz is a down to earth pure gold drummer. His legendary drumming on both Inside and Floating albums by Eloy is just masterpiece.

Esse solo é algo excepcional. Sou suspeito porque sou fã do Saxon já a muito tempo, 1985 para se exato e é a banda preferida minha.
