Hey man, i would really like for you to respond to my question.... is this better than one of those all in one producing machines that goe from like 300 dollars to 1200 dollars
Best tutorial for when you’ve just purchased FL Studio, and you have that oh sh*t moment that you may not get over the learning curve. This was enormously helpful!
yup you guys are right, there are many who aren't experts who make how to videos but they stumble all through them and say, "I hope that makes sense", etc. this sweetwater dude actually knows what he is doing and his craft well...I.e. only people who master something very technical can explain easily for others to follow
This video helped me a lot. i'm starting out and bought a small midi keyboard for like 50 bucks. I can play guitar and piano but making a whole song on FL has been pretty challenging from a software standpoint. would love to see more like this.
Copy pasting, selecting all, accessing all of the tools with simple shortcuts etc. I believe you can see what the shortcut is when you hover over certain things with you mouse.
Hello! Indie game dev here and I just want to say thank you so much for making this video. I am completely new into the whole digital music making area and this video was extremely helpful and really in depth. you also managed to keep hooked because you were actually entertaining as well compared to other tutorials which just talk with a bad microphone and go way to fast to know what the hell is even happening. Anyways keep up the amazing work and I hope you are doing well Jacob!
This is the first time I'm able to create song in fl thanks to you mate❤️..and some people said that they start with midi itself....soo this is the whole reason why he's better than others 👊❤️
Facts. Like if you are doing a beginners tutorial why tf would you bring in an extra piece of equipment know we don’t have that. This tutorial sucks lol. Back to GarageBand for me😂😂😂
@Saurav Sharma I'll link you 2 vids that helped me out. If you wanna play chords on typing keyboard: ua-cam.com/video/9dqPwNZh_9E/v-deo.html If you wanna use typing keyboard as drum pads: ua-cam.com/video/9PN51Gre-tQ/v-deo.html
Thank you for this video! I have been struggling to make my first song and you managed to show it in a simple manner, that was easy to follow, and allowed me to figure out why I wasn't progressing. Subscribed!
It's so gooood! Not only the tutorial was informative and easy to follow, but the song at the end was really well-made!! Now I'm interested to learn how to use FL Studio even though I know nothing about creating music 😂.
i love music so much, so i found this tutorial, i am the same noob in this, too bad, so much music inside my head, but i always stick to visual art, too bad
Being a mashupper is less headache and you can get free instrumentals and acapellas and create new song perspectives instead of losing many more hours creating music(except when you get 1+30 combo that you develop for days)
I read a bunch of stuff saying that FL Studio is intuitive for beginners and I watched a couple tutorials and ended up stress-crying because it definitely wasn't intuitive. Then I watched this and it gave me hope to try again because this actually made sense. Thank youuuuu!
Man...I never found something like this!! This is perfect for people that are starting!! Please keep it up It would be cool to do this kind of stuff and going a little deeper each video Thanks so much! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
When I started using patterns for the first time (for years I avoided it but I finally learned) I was combining two or more instruments for the drum sounds. Now I'm realizing it might be better to create a pattern for each drum instrument just so I have better control over what comes in and out of the song.
WELL WORTH WATCHING yaaaass!!!! I have been wanting to learn FL studio sense it was version 9 :p by far the best easiest to get an idea of how to do it not just what it can do.. Your time has just made my day TYSM!
I've watched 3-5 ish how to tutorials for beginners and this one was the best I found. Finally, this kind sir mentioned about channels and what are they! I'm so glad. Thank you so much for this.
My god, great tutorial. I showed it to my mom, was blowned. Sadly, I don't have the full version. Still, thank you so much. Fills my young nine year old mind.
Hey guys. I'm super glad y'all like the video and have commented your questions. 500,000 views! Woo hoo! BUT..for the record: I know that my eye looks red. I know that I look sleepy. It must have been a rough day in the looks department. So yes, I see it. I do. But all that aside, this video has helped many get inspired to make music and at the end of the day, I'm grateful for that. And don't worry, I completely recovered from my ocular ailment 😂 Be good, y'all. Jacob Dupre Sweetwater Keyboard Artist
this is a really nice video, so basic and helpful considering i know absolutely nothing about FL studio and i REALLY appreciate that he started from square one.

One of the few tutorials that actually go through everyhting step by step in a format beginners can follow. Amazing work!!!
One of the best tutorials ive seen if not the best.

Yo, I've watched so many vids on FL, and you are the first to have a proper/logical step by step.
Right. Usually the others just be like,”and then I do this and then you do that”. Like bro, Im cause I don’t know what to do. Loll
