Great video! Buying arcade machines depends on the vendor if they want to make business or such or buy several machines and modify it yourselves to your liking by buying different themed and genre arcade games including retro games! It's all the balance with racing, run and gun, pinball, ticket amusement, dancing and of course the old shoot me up/bullet hell. Of course, there should be a rule for all arcade providers to have all settings to be on their default settings, no changing the rank difficulty to very hard, no life setting on 2, no time limit difficulty changes, etc. the key element with arcade machines is that the more you buy, the higher the maintenance required especially on the hardware purposes because you don't want to play a game with a knackered light gun that may affect gameplay if players are attempting a 1CC.
I bought my first ever real arcade last year, its a dynamo hs1 cab which came as snks prisoners of war game and art work, cab was in decent condition but the art work was trashed, i restored the cab and converted it to street fighter 2 Champion Edition with all the artwork and original pcb, always wanted an arcade but always said if i ever had one it would be a proper one from the day with a crt monitor. Trouble is now I've got the bug i want more preferably wrecks that i can do up, I'm currently in the middle of building a capcom big blue from scratch, they are nearly impossible to find in the uk so Ill make one and make it onto a super street fighter 2 turbo cab, after that's finished I will start work on a midway cab which will be Mortal Kombat 2, both cabs will have crt monitors too, absolutely love arcades machines.
you probably dont give a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can stream all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my gf for the last couple of weeks xD
I ended up finding this video after thinking that I want to buy Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6 RR Arcade machine, yet I'm unable to find distributors allowing the end-users in Australia to buy machines but thanks for the info
I've only heard of two distributors in Australia, Zax Amusements and Highway Entertainment - but not sure if they sell 6RR or not. Unfortunately that game tends to have restrictions foisted upon it and it varies from region to region. If you can locate a Bandai Namco Amusement authorized distributor for your region/country, then they can provide the best answer.
The easy answer: Money. How much depends on how many and which specific games you want. The long answer: Developing a business plan, raising enough capital to be able to buy the games as well as everything else that a small business needs to function, scouting out a location and sign a contract with a landlord, getting approvals from the city/state/county, building out the location once settled, getting insurance, hiring employees (including a tech), purchasing a payment system (card or tokens), then open.
Not from their stock, but they have created a game or two like The Spectre Files: Deathstalker. Unfortunately, they don' t have a selling site set up for that to make it easy to come across, you have to contact Doc Mack directly about it.
Arcade 1ups are not made for nor licensed for commercial use. While I've heard of people modifying them for such a purpose, they're not designed to go into a commercial location and will not withstand that kind of beating. You're better off buying a proper arcade machine that already has the coin door in it to do so.
@@arcadeheroes_coinoparcade 1up says there’s no licensing restriction for commercial use. But I keep seeing your comment about licensing. Do you have a source for this?
