    Note, if you are tall then the jump from tuck to adv. tuck is likely way too much. You can do the intermittent progression of single-leg advanced tuck planche. This was the bridge that helped me unlock advanced tuck.

    Hey, love the content! Really helpful insight to understand/respect the need to work on the fundamentals for advanced tuck or any advanced skills for that matter. This keeps me motivated to continue training hard and consistently :)

    Thank you for this Tomi. I will work to this schedule. You must be really strong to do those 5 x sets of 10rep pull ups on Friday. I’m still working on negative pull-ups 2 x sets of 10 😂😂😂

      I bought the parallettes at a local shop in my country so it basically doesn't have a brand 😅

      The workout schedule is only a sample that I recommend for those of you who are aiming for the advanced tuck planche, so the training days on the schedule are not fixed and you can adjust it however you like so it would fit your training and physical strength the most. I am currently working with a different routine since I have my current workout goals that I want to achieve, and I would still have at least one rest day a week. However, it is totally up to you to decide if you should continue to train or make it a rest day. If you go with the first option, then you can continue working with the basic exercises or train with a different workout skill such as handstand, front lever, or any movement that you would like to try out 🙌💪

    do one arm pushups help too or not and do dragon flag help ?

    • @TOMI_SWB
      @TOMI_SWB  4 місяці тому

      You can train the one arm push up to build more of your strength but I think it is not that much related to the planche. Instead, I would recommend you focus more on the regular push up, dips, and especially the pseudo push up. The dragon flag is a great exercise to increase your core strength, you can train with it so it will help you hold the planche with a better form and the exercise is also good for the front lever as well 🙌💪

      WTF
      I can do Full Front Lever & 40 sec Handstand and Handstand Flag - I'm currently training for Planche -

    • @TOMI_SWB
      @TOMI_SWB  7 місяців тому

      Yeah... sometimes I think that to myself too 😂 But at first my only goal was to do the planche, so I skipped through some of the basic skills, and went straight for the planche. Though now I'm sure that if I trained for the handstand first, I might be able to do the planche faster

      to get better at pullups , do more pullups, but if you cant do them, work on negatives and banded pullups

    • @TOMI_SWB
      @TOMI_SWB  7 місяців тому

      The pull ups will require you to train with your entire bodyweight so it will be a bit harder to do at first. And yeah the exercise I focused on the most was the negative movement. I also tried to get used to the pull up bar first with exercises like hanging and swinging on the bar, and during the process, I was able to build my forearms at the same time (which will eventually support you in doing the pull up).
      So at the beginning of the workout, you can go for a few sets of bar hang for around 15s and swing with it a bit to warm up your body. Then you can train with the negative pull ups for 5 sets of 2 - 3 reps. And if you want to, you can finish the training with another set of bar hang with maximum hold. Once you can do the pull ups, don't force yourself to do it for many reps, but rather just do it for 1 - 3 reps to focus on its quality, then you can gradually raise the reps up 💪🙌

      @@TOMI_SWB Thanks brother. But there is one more question should I traing daily or Alternative days?

    • @TOMI_SWB
      @TOMI_SWB  7 місяців тому

      Usually, I would train with alternative days, and with different types of workouts (for example, MON: push, TUE: pull, WED: planche, THU: push ...). By training like this, I would be able to target more muscle groups, and they will also have more time to rest by training separately. However, since each of us has different physical strength, it would be best if you could try everything out and see which one suits you the most 💪🙌

      @@TOMI_SWB Thank you so much brother. Like I am also good in calesthenics I can do pistol squats, one Arm push ups, tucked planche Superman push ups but the problem is when I started I only train on the floor I did not even touched the bar for 6 months and now I understand that workout on the bars is also important in calesthenics
