The simple answer is that the left knows homeowners are mostly not their supporters. The rich mofos holding the mortgages ARE their supporters, so they make sure to take care of them. Why shouldn't I be given the same money as the child stimulus that's doled out monthly? I shouldn't be penalized for not having children, or not having any live under my roof any longer, should I? See what I mean about perception of reality? Now the gov't does have a homeowners program, but its not a direct federal thing, you have to apply through the state you live in and the fed's dole the money to the state to disperse. I am just saying it isn't just about tenets being "scumbags" the point of the moratorium was that it wasn't the tenets fault they couldn't pay rent it was the governments so the government put the moratorium in place. Now what should have happened instead of extending it is that the lockdowns should have been over a year ago and that government should have either A: paid the property owners for the losses or B: had the Banks put a moratorium on mortgages (Places like Banks ended up getting government money because of Covid anyways they have enough to absorb the hit) and the government do the same with property taxes (again it is the governments fault so they should take the hit. The excuse of being out of work and unable to make enough to pay, is rich. The unemployed were recipients of an additional $600.00 a week for close to 15 months. There is no excuse for not paying the rent. Deadbeat tenants should rightfully expect to be met with payment in full demands with fair market interest compounded weekly as well as late and processing fees.
Thing is, tenants who lose their jobs already had recourse: they could talk to their landlords about their situation. Most landlords are willing to work with their tenants and come up with a solution - either deferred payment or temporarily reduced rent - because it's cheaper to keep a good tenant at reduced rent than to let the property sit vacant. Tenants can also find roommates to sublet to.

If they are rich kids that may be the case in some circumstances or maybe it's just that their parents had so much money they could give all of them anything they wanted so it was the same thing.
The problem is that they have been indoctrinated for the first 12 years of school, so the college education is simply more indoctrination. There is no "critical thinking"- they are taught how to think, that's the problem. Perhaps this group of young Americans shouldn't vote until they become responsible enough to pay their own bills.

It starts with the parents, not colleges & public schools. The parents stopped educating their children & have allowed the government to indoctrinate the kids

Property owners won't rent out their properties unless a potential renter can prove he/she has enough funds to ride out the pandemic. More renters will have to compete to get a smaller place for a higher price.

Why not give a moratorium on home owners not having to pay their mortgages due to Covid.
The simple answer is that the left knows homeowners are mostly not their supporters. The rich mofos holding the mortgages ARE their supporters, so they make sure to take care of them. I can't think of any other possible reason they feel it's ok for the renter to not make a rent payment, but fully expect the homeowner to make the mortgage payment.
Ok, let's take that one step further. Democrats are all about fairness and equality, that's one of their premises and dogma(it's not true, but perception is a a form of reality. But I digress.). But, good luck meeting the state/federal qualification guidelines, the odds are stacked up against you because the pooled money reverts back to the gov't if not used.

I am just saying it isn't just about tenets being "scumbags" the point of the moratorium was that it wasn't the tenets fault they couldn't pay rent it was the governments so the government put the moratorium in place.
Tenants can also find roommates to sublet to.

you just pull out the fuses. lock the box. shut the water off lock it up . and see how quick they move out. they are getting free covid money and old boi joe doesn't want to make them pass on the free money?.. maybe you just .. sell the property to a family member. and have them "move in" then they have to get out. ;)
It's scary how you have to hold these young people's hands and walk them through anything that involves putting yourself into another person's prospective using critical thinking. They act like they were raised with no siblings.
I like this place hypothetical:
Should the university give half of your 4.0 GPA to a student who has a 1.0 GPA, so you each get a 2.5 GPA?
No? It’s not fair? Why not? 😈
Clearly the colleges are not teaching our kids the BASICS=principles, essentials, fundamentals, rudiments, groundwork, meat and marrow, nuts and bolts, core practicalities and realities,etc.. Technology, bad parenting, lack of moral values and ethics, principles of right and wrong, educational schools, academies and college's... The question remaining now is, What are all of us going to do ToDaY, to prevent the ruination of our traditional heritages to preserve our moral liberties for many tomorrows to come??.... 😔
It starts with the parents, not colleges & public schools. The parents stopped educating their children & have allowed the government to indoctrinate the kids
Add K-12 to that. It doesn't magically start in college.
Oh they are! But is the basics of cultural marxism.
The answer to what we will do today? Nothing meaningful.
What always worries me about these kids specifically is how the talk about 'The Govt' as some kind of detached entity that has nothing to do with them. In essence YOU ARE the govt. The govt is supposed to be a an extension of YOU, elected democratically to execute YOUR WILL. They're not some substitute parent who comes to wipe your 4$$ for you because you can't be bothered to do it yourself. The education system is largely to blame for the infantilisation of society. Everybody is always looking to the govt like Mommy and Daddy to tell them what to do, where to go, what to wear, what opinion to have...THAT is truly scary. NOBODY takes responsibility for their OWN LIVES anymore...
I'm surprised that they even took the landlords' situation into consideration.
I’m surprised that we still think landlords have morals

3 IMPORTANT THINGS WE ALL NEED TO EXPOSE::
1. Georgia Guidestones plan is to disappear more than 93% of us. That includes blacks, whites, Mexicans, Christians, and other groups.
2. Most billionaires are old-world pagans/Satanists, says former elite banker Ronald Bernard. Their Freemason Washington Monument true width is 666 inches wide on all 4 sides.
3. For about 2 years now, even whilst Trump was president, our military has been recruiting specially from Democrat cities. Guess why. If they get control of our military, they can CONTROL US ALL. Princeton graduate Kay Griggs says Skull and Bones has made it so all U.S. military generals are home-oh-septuals. They're against us.
Pray, learn of their Satanism in the Old Testament and even the New, & keep telling others.
Acording to them, landlords aren't people.

Notice how easily the phrase "Government step in" comes to their lips? Who do they think pays for government stepping in? What about us?
I’m always amazed at how these young liberals are totally on board with something UNTIL they actually understand it! Then they backtrack.
"How would you feel if your roommate stopped paying their portion of the rent?" I figured the answer would be "I'd just stop paying rent too since they can't evict us" 😂

The irony being Reagan was from the government. He should have led by example and abolished ALL government agencies starting with the IRS, CIA, and FBI and then resign. After nuking all the communist countries of course, especially China.

The girl that was bummed out, never paid a bill. I thought she was going to get on her knees and cry about her privilege.
“I’m always in favor of the government doing something.” That’s exactly the problem.
why are you taking it out of context?
“Yeah…..it’s ok, I live with my parents.” No one has an ounce of common sense anymore.
If I had kids and they were still in the house living there and they had already complete high school, I would kick them out of the house. No hard feelings, but I know that at that age and at that point in life you need to start making a life for yourself and depend on yourself. I know that’s what I’ll have to do soon. Can’t imagine why it is so hard for those people to understand that. (Maybe bad parenting)
"as long as people are being helped, dont care who has to pay for it."
"They don't have a stable source.if income". Yeah, thats what every property owner is saying. If people don't pay their rent the owner can't pay their bills.
I used to always hear Ben Shapiro say “empathy” shouldn’t be a main focus in politics because it puts you(the politician) in a constituent’s shoes, but removes you from another… I think I’ve started to understand that point more and more this year
A case could be made for empathy apparently absolving one of any responsibility for said decision, **without suffering any consequences of the decision**.
Empathy doesn't need to be removed from politics all together, but rather should be applied equally to all sides. The problem is that politicians misuse empathy to apply to only one side of the agenda that they want to achieve and entirely ignore the other side.
@@eugenetswong I completely agree. Not to invoke Ben Shapiro again, but it’s like when he says “as long as a politician is doing something then that’s good enough. As opposed to doing something effective”. When “empathy” is the only and mostly the primary focus then it doesn’t matter if your proposals make sense or are effective. All that matters is that you’re trying. So goes the argument
@@sha0tube I agree as well! I do not believe that empathy should be removed all together of course... however, the use of “empathy” in the way it is used in today’s politics should not be the primary goal of a politician. I agree, the ability to be empathetic should flow both ways.
@@sha0tube that's a good point. Empathy is what is used to look at it from another person's perspective.
Just as a disclaimer: a more useful example of what I am talking about is when a doctor, judge, or lawyer, is not emotionally involved, and is able to think in an unbiased manner, while still seeing the situation from another person's perspective.
They should share their grades with those that are struggling in class…
Me: gets an F for not doing the work.
Other student: studies hard and gets an A.
Me: yay we both now have C's everybody passes.
Other student: why did I study?
I used to use this argument in class when they would bring up socialism. I would ask the A student if they would gladly give up their A that they studied all night to in order to give someone who didn't study that got an F on the same test in order for both of them to get a c in the class. They would always say no and I would answer thats socialism
They are the ones struggling in the class.

My daughter lives in a small complex…she and her roommates were the only one out of 12 units to pay rent. Her neighbors bought new cars and motorcycles.
That's what pisses me off about this rent situation .. thousands simply took the stimulus money ( some didn't even need it ) and threw it away because they saw it as free money ....not something to pay bills with. I remember post after post of people saying I can't wait to get my next stimulus check I want a PS5 ....... nobody was saying I really want to pay my rent this month.
