There’s a thing called “habit”. Change is very difficult but with the right mindset and education the citizens will catch on.

There is a lack of order and structure, a lack of the "Rule of Law," impatience, and common sense. What a tragedy!

Emmanuel, thanks so much for this informative video. I think the public safety authorities should consider the idea of educating the public about the importance of road signs and road safety in general, they can do this in the schools by teaching our young children about it, talking about it repeatedly on the public radio stations as well, they can sponsor our local content creators like yourself to do more of these kind of videos, they can also carry out some enforcement measures like issuing spot fines to drivers and motor cyclists who don't yield to pedestrians using the cross walks, fines for making unsafe U-turns and posing danger to other road users. In high pedestrian traffic locations like this one, the government can also consider installing barriers that prevent pedestrians from taking short cuts on the roads as we see in other countries like Ghana, Canada and the United States.
But you are doing an excellent job of giving us uncensored updates about day-to-day life back home.
    Thanks again.

The government is weak they are not enforcing the law. We need someone though as president bucuz Liberian are stubborn.

The government needs to reinforce the traffic rules and regulations or build a bridge for the pedestrians to crossover.

Most of our people don’t follow the road signs..Police 👮‍♀️ should begin giving out tickets to them for Jaywalking. Besides, drivers and motorcyclist don’t respect the pedestrians and road signs…the Police needs to get down to business and begin issuing tickets to these drivers and motorcyclists.

Roads safety sensitization and awareness have to be taught because majority of our people are very ignorant!!!

ELBC needs to develop some problems so as to educate the citizens and make them understand that police can arrest when they are found jail walking.

What they don’t realize is that if or when they get hit outside of the crosswalk path, it will be their fault and not the driver.

It is not funny at all. It is because of those behaviors that Liberia is far behind.
