I wish all moms were open just like her... As children we end up living a double life, we impress parents at home and then we live different lives outside cos it's hard to converse, asks or tell our parents certain things.
I'm 37 my daughter is 18 and she is more open to talk to me about anything than anyone else. And i'm glad i gave her that room to be open then is better to learn things from me in that way she will make better decisions about her life
