I’ve taken your advice “sitting on your butt won’t finish your projects” so I started tearing down a 46re transmission for a rebuild. You’ve been an inspiration for me to start working on my project vehicles again
Puddin, the smile on Slick's face is priceless. Thanks for showing people that new and expensive isn't better sometimes, and how sometimes cheap will make you happy.
You dont know how much your videos cheer me up after a long crappy Monday at work. Thank you for your hard work and putting out consistently great videos. Loving the 2nd channel!
Webers are wonderful. It's nice to see Slick smiling at your generosity. If you took the time to measure both the shaft and the inner diameter of your clutch pedal, maybe you could find a nice brass insert. The trailer needs a longer tongue, 2 feet or so.
Hey Puddin 👋, great video on the luv. That carb was just the thing to make it run. But that auto dump trailer had me cracking up. Thanks Puddin for all that you do for your channel. Have a great evening ✌️
The first truck I had was a 1980 luv, I bought it on eBay in 2002 for $167.50. I drove it home at its terminal velocity of 50mph. Rusted floorboards, broken seat and seat belts, inoperable just about everything. It was a great truck…. But eventually I upgraded to a $600 ranger.
My first truck was a 1972 LUV. Bought new 4 on floor. Top speed 97mph. You know when your 16 you run the he'll out of it. Wrecked it twice...I could sit in driver's seat and rest both elbows out the windows. Well the body shop fixed it and off again. $2500.00 brand new. What deal in 1972.
There is nothing wrong with the way you build things Puddin. I like how you do things. You improvise with the things you know will work. I love watching your videos buddy. Keep them coming Puddin. 😉👌
Love the Chevy Luv, first driving experience of my life was starting my mothers Luv when in gear and launch it into the living room wall of our apartment.
The Gen Light could be one of a few things. 1. The voltage reg is bad, usually happens when you change alternator without changing regulator. 2. The batt wires/terminals are bad/poor grounds. 3. Someone mixed up some wires on the alternator. Good Luck Buddy.
That Luv truck is coming along nicely. With a good engine and transmission a little TLC should make a very good truck. Had to laugh at the trailer coming off during your speed test, but it works like a champion. That 59 International looks good with those white walls lean against the truck, very good choice for it.
Back in the 80s I rebuilt a motor in one of those Chevy Luv's an the rebuild kit told me that was a Isuzu motor from the factory. I don't know if that was true with them all. You should be able to tell by running the Ven tag. But at any rate great job on the little truck. Enjoyed the show, thks.
Belectrical tape is my favorite. It stretches so you can tighten it, It's strong so you can bind stout stuff, it doesn't rot as fast as you know which tape, and it doesn't leave a mucky mess as bad either. Plus, as Paul says in the comments, you can cover warning lights with it. I would definitely say though, that over 16V is too hot for the system.
Puddin it’s always a good time watching your videos man. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Can't wait to see more on your builds. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Man that thing runs well, Slick had the biggest smile on his face as he was ripping around the backyard you can tell he wants to get that “Shop Truck” on the road. And I was watching Mortske the other day and he was working on an International Scout, and he was having some minor issues and all I could think was you oughta call up Puddin cause he’s not only the Datsun king he knows his way around the International’s as well. Hoping you’ll get around to the International mailing soon cause all I can do is look at the merch with envy going man wish he’d be able to send some my way.
I know you are super busy, but I hope you can find time to fit in a Puddin's park it and market sometime soon. Thank you for the content you provide for us on both channels!
Your a good friend for sure. Always look forward to your mo day uploads. Loving the shorter videos as well. Good way to make a bigger audience..and income. Smart.
That is, by far, the best-sounding Luv I’ve ever heard. Every other one that I’ve heard has had a rod knock. Including the ‘79 4wd Luv that I had as a kid. It went about 8 miles before it spun the #3 rod bearing
Hey man! Thanks for all your hard work and being a inspiration. I just finished a 28 day treatment program for alcoholism and feeling like a new man! I'm now rewarding myself with a Puddin marathon!
I'm sure there's some kinda monetary advantage to a second channel but almost everything on there seems worthy of the 1st channel. If a guy gets behind on a couple videos it gets a little confusing which channel to go to first to catch up, but I get'er figured out. Just sayin' is all, I don't care either way. Appreciate the extra effort/content and enjoy the hell outta the show!
Greetings from Canada, can't get enough of your channels. You and your family and friends are fun to watch because you are all just down to earth good people. I'm looking forward to seeing more videos. Hope you will be showing us some shots of your new home. Maybe one day you and your family will come for a tour of the great white north.
I've had a bunch of them luv trucks and everyone I've had I've had to fabricate a clutch pedal. The bracket gets rusty and causes the metal to get thin. Then after a while from pushing the clutch in it will get the bending back and forth effect and then break off. So you might want to weld a plate on the pedal assembly bracket to stiffen it up before that happens. Just a little advice from someone who has done it a couple dozen times back when the luv truck was a common vehicle.
Excellent video Puddin :) also would swap trailer box to Chevrolet LUV truck also get all rewired up and plus brakes too but get all rest working right too! Also fuel tank be easy to fix too and that Alternator light should be wireing to fix too! Happy Birthday to wife of yours too!
The best part of this channel is how genuinely goddammed happy he is driving a rig around his backyard. Hope he never loses that "tickled pink" attitude!
Love your quiet attention to detail mate and your dancing here and there always makes me laugh 😃 It just plain brightens my day The luv tap is coming on well slick must be pleased
Just realized that yaw r sneaking up to 200k... Love seeing your channel is growing in leaps and bounds!! Love Mondays so I can take a take a break of working on my junk!! Lol
Love this channel and love the second channel. Second channel is great when you don't want to spend too much time sittin' on yer ass not finishin' yer project!
You’ve gone up 130,000 subs since I found you! You’re killing it! 🔥🔥🔥 I actually found you cause of the other LUV you worked on a long time ago! One of these days I’ll get my LUV up and running 😂
Hey Pudd': Good job fixing the carb on the '79 Izusu/Chevy Luv... Outside of the Japanese fixing this pick-up; Your ability to fix these small rice burners is unmatched!!! Can't wait to see it on the road... From the home of PB Blaster Silicone Lubyduby Spray... Cleveland, Ohio.... C'MON!!!!!!!!!!!!
In 1979, I was in the 11th grade, I drove back then, a 1969 Opel Kadett Wagon, Made in Germany with a 1600CC 4 cylinder engine and a manual 4 speed transmission. Best damn car i've ever owned....
A piece of black electrical tape over that gen light will git er dun.
I like it!
It looks like it needs a voltage regulator. They are external
I think the light is on because it's over charging. If and when the voltage regulator fails, the battery usually blows up. 💣🧨🔥
Danger Will Robinson !
YO P TANG90 WERE IS SLICK50
I was fixing to say the same thing
Had me crying when the trailer came off, the zooms just topped it off 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love these older small trucks. Wish they were still being made today. We need them.
I’ve taken your advice “sitting on your butt won’t finish your projects” so I started tearing down a 46re transmission for a rebuild. You’ve been an inspiration for me to start working on my project vehicles again
Ive just took the easy way and decided I have no more projects

Webers are wonderful. It's nice to see Slick smiling at your generosity. If you took the time to measure both the shaft and the inner diameter of your clutch pedal, maybe you could find a nice brass insert. The trailer needs a longer tongue, 2 feet or so.

I am really stoked on these two latest projects.
Do yourself a solid and get some deoxit. Spray them connectors, plug them in a few times. Wipe down any debris, re spray it and send it.
"If Bill says it will seal it will seal" sticker.... Lol
Love the Chevy Luv, first driving experience of my life was starting my mothers Luv when in gear and launch it into the living room wall of our apartment.
Looking for one of these trucks for saving on gas. I'm old enough to remember when that truck was new. Keep up with the awesome content.
The Gen Light could be one of a few things. 1. The voltage reg is bad, usually happens when you change alternator without changing regulator. 2. The batt wires/terminals are bad/poor grounds. 3. Someone mixed up some wires on the alternator. Good Luck Buddy.
Puddin Tang and Sir Morticus always bookend a good but kinda chilly Monday!
The trailer coming off the truck had me 😂😂😂😂. Great video man.

Great job! I’m sure Slick will have fun with it!
The trailer has a "self ejector" feature. Designed for a quick getaway.
Little blue truck is coming along nicely. I'm subscribed to both channels and watch all the videos as they come out, enjoy them all! 👍🏻
Im sure Puddin knows that every tool is a hammer at one end!!
you should be in the next danger ranger event that cleetus hosts. You racing with all the guys would be fun to watch.
I swear it only took 2 days to get my shirts I ordered! Talk about great service! 😁👍
I had the same experience
Puddin Bane was the best. Nearly spit my drink out
Man he took off and the trailer said nah not this time had me rolling 😂

Great video Puddin. The best part about your channel is you show your fails and make it funny.
Since it's Slick 50 now, should it be the LUV 50?
😊yay for Slick and that gorgeous smile! Great job getting that old rig back to life.
A big fat bowl and an hour of Puddin should top off my Monday just right.

All the mini trucks you have the rescue mission is working saving all the trucks from death. I hope you guys build a beautiful new home you deserve it
That is, by far, the best-sounding Luv I’ve ever heard. Every other one that I’ve heard has had a rod knock. Including the ‘79 4wd Luv that I had as a kid. It went about 8 miles before it spun the #3 rod bearing
I can't lie--the sleeve modification on that wobbly clutch pedal was expert!!! Good work, Puddin!!!
Hey man! Thanks for all your hard work and being a inspiration. I just finished a 28 day treatment program for alcoholism and feeling like a new man! I'm now rewarding myself with a Puddin marathon!
Great job Puddin on the clutch repair. That was great.Great fabrication. Thanks for sharing!
HOT DAMN!! He finally posted! We're having fun now, buddy.
It is probably the sticker on the carb that gives it so much power!!
+! for the Bane impression! Awesome.
Happy Belated Birthday Mrs. Puddin!!
I like little blue truck 🚛 you are working on for slick 50 .I hope he has more fun drive it. God bless you and the family.

That was hilarious when you realized the trailer wasn't connected.

Chevy Luv, with some extra luv.
the fuse blocks on these luvs cause all sorts of issues. pull it off and give it a real good clean with new fuses and it should help
