I'm sorry, i couldn't find any precise abbreviations, so i create this one. It's in description, it means that you must release the button you were holding down
@@CoreConceptFGC Thank you for your explanation! I'm having a hard time connecting f(forwad)+A ,hcf(half circle forward)+C when facing my opponent, do I have to do it your way, that is hitting from reverse side rather than from face?
@@clappingclappingbear5457 Maybe i did'nt understand, but if with "hitting from reverse side" you meant that it is necessary to cross-up for some combo the answer is no. Just do it fast [f+A, hcf+C] to DM or [f+A, N, qcf+C] to normal move.
@@CoreConceptFGC I don't know why UA-cam keeps deleting my comment. I found out why I couldn't connect, this is a quote from dream cancel: "Hitting it raw will grant a hard knockdown that can be followed with his df+B OTG attack. Doesn't knock down when you cancel into it immediately." Previously I did raw [f+A, hcf+C], this is a hard knock down so I couldn't connect. If I cancel into it by simply doing [C, f+A, hcf+C] or [A, f+A, hcf+C] then this is not a knockdown anymore so I can connect.
@@clappingclappingbear5457 I'm seeing 3 of your comments, anyw. f+A alone causes a knockdown, but it loses this property by being linked very quickly on a combo (similar to overheads), so if you do C, [1time], f + A will not see a knockdown (0:16), but if you do C, [3times], f + A you will see a knockdown (0:21)
Oops, it's not [BC then hold F+C], but [F+BC, (go back to neutral) then hold F for a while, C]. It's just a trick to not have to do [BC + FF], because [F+BC, hold F] it's much easier
The timing are insane, or i'm really bad lol (or both). Even simple link like seen at 0:22 After the second down B the character is too far away to confirm with the down A. I guess there is lots of tech to make it easier, or at least i hope so !
you don't need to charge while in max mode, but there's this crazy ultra hard combo with Ex Takuma that involves you canceling f+a into charge kicks whitout max mode, and being that hard was probably the reason why it's not in this vídeo
As I demonstrate at 0:09 and 0:12, holding any button prevents any special moves from being actived (such as "hadouken" or any DM). This can help in 0:16 type combos, where it is difficult to do [↓A + →A + ...] consistently without involutely doing [↓A + ↓↘→A], since with the "hadouken" blocked, the normal [→ A] is activated in place. This applies to some chars, like Iori/O.Chris, but it's just a trick to make it easier to execute, nothing more.
I know many players who play a lot on the d-pad, and I can say with experience that it's the same thing on the analog stick/fightstick/keyboard. Max mode combos is the ultimate tool to master, and takes a time to get consistency, just keep training . First activate max mode without run (→→, C, BC, C, → A...) and only then try with run after BC.
I suggest for a test run try Yashiro for how to get hang out of, firstly, you activate it on hit, not on start animation, so it's C 6A, hit(activate mode), C 6A, try that
Hi man, what does (R.B), dl, and black arrow means? I had a look at dream cancel but I didn't find those abbreviations. Thanks!

I really appreciate how your notations mention the delays and shortcuts rather than presenting the moves as their command list inputs like most do

Good stuff.. Keep making these I'm just getting into kof2002um and i need short and practical combo vids like this.
Grande Takuma.

Hi how do u execute the max-mode cancel into run @1:06min combo. Whenever I hit BC then hold F+C, takuma doesnt run forward.

Thank you. I try 😅
Coming from kof13 I can say mastering max mode combos are pretty hard in this game.
Coming from KOFXIII as well, and I totally agree. The trick of running with a single "right" was essential for me

I don't understand what is the purpose of holding B in any scenario. This must be KOF specific tech that I'm not familiar with coming from SF?

How do you do f+a into the charge kicks?
In this KOF you no need charge this moves if Max Mode is activated and you link some atack to it, only do ↙→D after f+A, its sick!
@@CoreConceptFGC you’re a man’s man! Thank you
Read the description and dreamcancel.com/wiki/index.php/The_King_of_Fighters_2002_UM/Controls
What mean black arrow ?
t's in the description, it means you need to hold down the command
I swear I can't combo into max mode in 2002 UM. Is it really so hard to do it on a d-pad? Great combo vid btw

link takuma
Faz da Shermie Orochi, por favor. Espero o tempo que for.
Fechado
Melhor Climax do jogo amigo kkkk
fireball super isnt a hard knockdown, so 3b isnt a true combo after it. they can roll
You right, but the opponent doesn't always roll (even in high level), so it's an option
@@CoreConceptFGC absolutely, that is something i dont call out enough. great video btw
Get the ps4 version and let's play 😂😂
I'll go soon 💪🏼💪🏼
