25 pdr are large gun if they ambush cannot be placed from Ambush within 16”/40cm of enemy Teams. Firefly has protected ammo so pass double bailed to 3+.. the rulebook say " if the score is greater than or equal to the Team’s Motivation rating (or its Remount rating if different), the shot has no additional effect on the tank."
Idk why but these games are so interesting. People say “it’s a board game it’s boring.” But games like these are very tense cause it can all change on a roll of a dice.
Good batrep. Shows off the rules well. Nicely painted armies. In terms of tactics - and this is gentle criticism - the Shermans should remain hidden behind woods until the reserves arrive. No point in advancing into the teeth of reinforcing Panthers. (I am guilty of this all the time, but I am working on it. LOL) Moving the Stugs to expose their flanks to the 25 pounders was just suicide.
I like your games and your friendly way of playing them, always entertaining. A quick reminder, don't forget to aim the attacking units at the target. This can be very important in terms of side armor or frontal armor in the enemy turn.

What infantry platoon did the uk player take. Everything looks mechanized in the Bulge Britain book.🤷. Also it looks like Britain may be over 100 points.
@@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall Really doesn't matter what you or I think about it, it's a method that's gonna get less and less popular on the account that motion/simulator sickness is constantly on the rise with each generation. But of course I understand there is a limit to what you can do within a budget. I'd look into a camera that can do higher FPS recording with less motion blur. Or maybe it doesn't matter and most your fanbase doesn't care. Just feedback in the end of the day. But yeah there are a lot of other battle rep styles out there that I like, just sadly none for specifically ww2/historical battle reports, I guess that might be why the sub genre is slowly dying... A lack of adaptability and a resistance to innovation can lead to things being left behind. Not that it matters, your house your rules, what matters is if you have fun making these, anyway good luck bro, would've been fun for me if it didn't make me sea sick lol
you guys need to learn proper battle tactics and stop using 17 hundred battle tactics WW 2 was fought using fire and manouver one halh of the company manouvers to out flank the enemy while the other half stays stationary to pin the enemy in place also smoke gives cover and obscures vision use it.

Yeah, it's not bad to make mistakes, but mistakes on base level rules... ouch.

Rules question, why didn't the Panther fire its' machine guns at the artillery? It was within 16", otherwise there'd be a penalty for long range

You are right, they get 1 attempt to range in per Sturmtiger in the battery.
Doesn't the Brutal rule stack up with the repeat bombardment? Both force a reroll of succesful saves, so he should have rerolled twice, no?
Under re-rolls on page 24 of the rulebook, you can't re-roll a re-roll. My group has always played that this includes your scenario above.
