I hadn’t planned on heading back to Salem until the Art Festival in June, but since I had the day off from work and it was a beautiful day for The Eclipse I figured I’d make a return to Salem. How was your visit? Which people from my videos did you happen to come across?

We got to say hello to Brian (Borah) while we were in Blackcraft, Joe Sax, the Rockafellas bartender (forgot his name, apologies), a passing hello to Sarah of Salem the podcast, pretty sure it was her lol, the Count Orlok folks, Ben of Vampfangs and some cool folks at TST and Blackcraft. Our visit was awesome as always. We love it up there and try to drive up often. We're actually hoping to move up to Salem or that region of MA by years end. We're in Delaware now. Fingers crossed.

another great D-Tour, Derek! the eclipse glasses are definitely not weird looking. they look, at least to this old monster kid, like 3D glasses for a cool monster movie, like CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON! we got only about 36% partial eclipse here in CA but even that was quite an experience. oh, & shout out, as you did, to LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL. saw it last week! man! what a ride! loooooved it!

OMG I was walking behind you when you were filming the movie marquee clip! I should have said hi but I was heading to the commons for the eclipse. One of these days were getting a beer!
I was thinking about hitting up the Common. I had walked by there and saw a group of people there. I was heading into Essex Pizza House for a roast beef sandwich to eat with the eclipse but they weee out of roast beef. That was right after I filmed the outside of Cinema Salem. I should have bounced back to the common to get a different perspective. How was the crowd?
@@DTours They must have had "class trips" to the commons because there was a lot of young teens and their teachers. It was packed but also nice to see people all out together for a common purpose. And before the height of the eclipse people were playing with beachballs and basketballs. Felt like a nice community bonding moment!

Made it home just in time to see the eclipse from the “the other Salem”. Talked with a friend that went to Errol,NH to watch the eclipse. Took them almost 9 hours to get home.

I grew up in western Massachusetts, not all that far from you, it was 64% then, I now live in Pennsylvania. What percent totality did you have. Here it was 95% and it got surprisingly dark.

What a great experience, did it get much darker during that eclipse. That parrot 🦜 was super cool. Great footage of the eclipse, the iPhone captured that really well.
