Guardians of OverWatch ponies presents: concord grape jelly edition. I enjoyed the live 💚👍🏿
I played the Concord beta, it's very bad, that game is gonna flop badly.
If Concord flops then it flops! Sony should get zero sympathy. Let's not forget, Sony had the exclusivity of Death loop, Ghost Wire Tokyo and was trying to get Starfield. That would have buried Microsoft. No tears will be shed here.
I'm genuinely curious to see what happens if Call of Duty doesn't make much of a dent in Game Pass subscriber numbers. You have to think that the casual audience already knows that games like Madden are included with Game Pass. Consoles are where the annual sports game market is. It's not on PC. So those people should be captured already with EA Play inclusion. So if sports games aren't attracting more subscribers, why would you pay $240 a year to rent Call of Duty when you could just buy it? And if Call of Duty doesn't move the needle, what does Microsoft ask of its subscribers then? You need new blood from somewhere, and I don't think that there are millions of Rip Van Winkles that suddenly will wake up to a reality that they knew nothing about when Call of Duty comes to Game Pass. But I could be completely wrong, and that's what makes it interesting.
It's not just Call of Duty, but most have always said if all you do is play one game then GamePass may not be for you.
Xbox's are selling. Lots of new people on reddit getting xbox's that talk about gamepass call of duty, the new college football game (this new gen only) and GTA. Next fiscal report should have a major increase in hardware sales. That's why I think they did the game pass increase when they did. Things changed after that showcase. People don't get gamepass for 1 game dude, that would be dumb. No games on PlayStation is gonna sell xbox's too. That Sony state of play sold more xbox's than you know.
Ummm... so your rooting for GamePass too fail? I see your pony tendency is coming out again in the form of hypothetical nonsense as always...
You wouldn't pay $240 a year to rent COD, you WOULD buy it instead. The ones who will play COD on gamepass are interested in more than just COD.
@@GunGriffin187 I see this as something that's interesting. That you see speculation and questioning as some sort of affront is bizarre to say the least. That you interpret what I wrote as me rooting against something is crazy. I'm indifferent. You're clearly a person whose ego is tied to a brand.
People will still dip in and out of Game Pass. Raising prices won't stop that, and it certainly won't turn dippers into long term subscribers. It will just make those people dip in less often. And it only really effects the trapped console audience on XBOX. Anybody who has access to Steam can dip in and out of a game like Flintlock, because of Steam's consumer-friendly return policy. This is just Microsoft trying to get its true believers to pay at least $20 a month for Game Pass. Over time, they'll get all of you.
What exactly is Steam's consumer friendly return policy?
I speak as someone who plays on PC and Xbox, and you don't know what you're talking about. Steam refunds only let you play the game a few hours, you are delusional to compare Game Pass to that. Microsoft also has a good refund policy, so your argument is already dead in that aspect. Xbox console users are not trapped, you are completely leaving out the fact that existing subscribers of GP console still get day 1 games with price increase. Also, you can get very cheap Ultimate subs for only 10 bucks a month on the same PC storefronts like CDkeys you claim are superior. Ultimate comes with both console and PC Game Pass, along with day 1 games you get a excellent deal even if you pay retail value.
@vaguedreams it's not customer friendly at all most of it revolves around time if you keep the game you bought on steam after about a week you can't get a refund... new games it's worse it's about 3 days... but what if you spend that time trying to get the game too boot because it's broken?
Yet again nice try pony... your trying too act intelligent too hide your clear distrust of GamePass and Microsoft... but we see right through you...
@@VaruunkaiSpy You're twisting my words, and in some cases just making them up. I didn't once mention CDKeys let alone make any claim of their superiority. It's easy to argue against yourself.
