    Should make videos on how to tack beveled plates with tig. Maybe it is not very important to show that step but some have a very hard time trying to learn to do that.

    Y’all should do a mig open root on 3/8 plate with a 3/32 land 3/32 gap because I can’t seem to get my settings right at school.

      3/32 gap?? Maybe its just me, but i like to give a 1/8 or 5/32 gap. 3/32 for me just feels like it wont penetrate well.

      @@Niko76239 aim the wire 45 degrees into the puddle and stay IN THE PUDDLE. You should be able to drag it right across with a 3/32 gap no problem.

    For me personally I have the 1/8 landing and it kind of transferred to tig pipe I just put pressure on the filler rod and walking the cup

    You know why they really call it 1G? Because your paycheck will be 1 G.....better tell that supervisor to give you that 6G test....so your paycheck can be 6 G's 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Could we get a 1G 6010 open root and hot pass, 7018 fill and cap on 3/8 plate video? A friend and I are practicing this at home we're unsure if we're doing the root pass right the fiil and cap aren't to hard but we could still use some pointers we use a nickle landing and a dime gap thank you in advance

    On 1G I just use a 1/8 gap and slap that wire on there and go to town. No need for a 5/32 gap for beginners
