My son has the 90mm ultra performance and loves it. I wanted something a little smaller and just purchased this 64mm V2. Hopefully, it will arrive soon.
I am starting a RPAS course in May, and have been looking for a good RC F-22 that isn't super expensive for what you get. I see so many cheesy little foam things with crappy props and wire landing gear. Then I found this thing. This will be my first RC jet.
Wesley. That looks almost as scale as the 80mm. Well done MotionRC. Glad to see that companies take notice of recommended improvements and them excute it. 👊👍
Real lack in the current market is a lovely ,high quality F4 phantom II in 64 mm 4S Size. I know several modelers who are looking for one. Freewing 90mm EDF is great but it is very large in size and also has a high cost for lots of modelers. Dear Motion RC Team, Woud you please work on it and provide one?
My problem with the first version is is that my 50c 2200 lipo is all the way to the back and its still nose heavy. I ended up putting weights in the back to make it fly better. And this is with the bigger motor.
Hello everyone, I personally bought the original version of this plane back in March of last year as my very first plane, flew alright but the nose was not strong at all Lol, the amount of lift was limited so you had to keep a lot of thrust to keep it from stalling, Im looking forward to purchasing the V2 and compareing it to the old one, I'm glad to see one of my most absolute favorite plane will be upgraded and hopefully better to fly, it's a heck alot cheaper and better than the advanced one they sell
Hi, just ordered one of these. I fly off grass field, so am going to hand launch. Would you advise taking off the undercarriage and flying it as a belly lander to reduce the weight for hand launches. Your opinion would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Andy in uk.
@@MotionRC thanks, maidened this plane today. Hand launch no problem with a gyro, lots of power, flies like a dream and very easy to land on no power. Definitely a thumbs up, very happy with this.....lots of fun.
Yeah, that pilot figure that comes stock is WAY oversized. I have the older 3S version of the plane, and replaced the stock pilot figure with a 3D printed pilot more in scale with the plane. Freewing seems to pay a lot of attention to aircraft detail, and then they just grab whatever pilot figure that will fit. On their 64mm A-10 model, the pilot figure that comes stock would be over 10 feet tall at the same scale as the airplane model, and the 64mm F-22 is around the same out of scale.
@@MotionRC not jets but an atom dolphin can endure for much longer. Also they can go faster. I love that f 22 but it would be a great competitor if they can make it more durable in the air
@@danielmachado7330 prop planes are entirely different in design and expectation. EDF jet tech is still a long ways away from reaching 10-15 minute flights without worrying about throttle management. You could stretch out a jet to fly for 10 minutes, but you'd basically just be powering up to reach altitude and gliding for most of the flight which completely defeats the purpose of a jet
@@dronepilot260rc if you do any post-stall flight, it is a must. If you do any coordinated, tight turns, it is a must. If you want to fly fast and don't care how your flight looks or feels, I guess a yank and bank is usable. I just wouldn't buy one without a rudder because I fly my modern fighters with post-stall stability in mind, especially for landings.
@@cwwisk pretty much what you said. As long as a person is enjoying the flight that’s all that matters and I agree one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to RC
Why do these reviews show prestige models. Mine arrived two days ago and disgusting is putting it mildly. Wings don't seat against wing roots. Starboard wing is like porridge. Not good motion rc

Nice little F-22 MRC.

@@MotionRChello, nice flying, will like to know, what other good brands of batteries you can recommend for this jet does it has to be 35c??
I can not believe the price on this it’s an incredible deal. Buying one for my birthday In march I can’t wait 😎

Can you put a camera 📷 in it and see through it with a head Visor?
I wanna find that out too
Probably

Just got this plane same experience 1 oz in tail to get near neutral CG w/2800 mah batt
Nice! Can't believe mine was delivered today! Hoping to set it up tonight 😎👍 Only flew the original one with a 4S, terrible performance on a 3S.
You will love the 4s power!
I always run 4s on the 3s jets. Absolutely amazing performance ❤
Looks sweet. Think it can launched from well manicured grass? My eflite f15 just doesn't have the power to get off the ground.

Did you get the V2 if so what is your comparative analysis?
I have some 4s 3000’s laying around. Would they work or be to heavy? Also is it hand launch capable? I would like to take the wheels off.
I have the hi performance V1. From 3 yrs ago. How much more power does V2 have
Just got this plane , 2800 mah batt , added 1 full oz to tail just to get close to CG , does this sound right ?
Can I use the ailerons as flaps for landing? Make them flaperons?
what's the diffrence between a 90mm and a 60mm
Can anyone tell me does the V2 64mm raptor only use the elevons for the take off lift? Mine seems to take a bit more length to catch lift.
@Motion RC .. All the plastic edges look very rough and sloppy. Why would you let this product out without fixing the mold problems?
Wes is The High Alpha Male,, LoL!
Brilliant Demo Matie, hotstuff!!
Beginner here. I have my DXS transmitter and not sure what name and kind of receiver i need for my freewing f-22raptor 64mm PNP?
if you dont know that then IMO youve entered at the wrong point, do your research, watch a tonne of vids and educate yourself

Yes if you plan to hand launch remove the gear as they will not me needed and are just extra drag and weight.

@MotionRc does it come with everything I'm going to need
This is a PNP (plug n Play) model which means you will provide your own TX/RX and battery
@@MotionRC thanks so much know I'm gonna buy the f22 soon😁😁😁😁
Also @MotionRC what TX / RX and battery do you recommend because I have a budget of $350 and I only want to spend $230
Anyone happen to know if you can fit 6-7 inch figures in the cockpit of this model?
Probably can’t. But even if you can, don’t. It will be too nose heavy.

How long does the battery last?
Pay attention 4 minutes. Each battery is $33. It's high performance and does cool stuff. Can't be having heavy batteries on these light planes.
❤ 64's
Can I take off from grass?
Freshly mowed maybe but it would be better to hand launch it on grass strips.
3 mins is just too little for me. For such a big plane I would be pleased with at least 15 minutes
No RC jets are flying for 15 minutes

No rudder? Not interested.
For a small jet I don’t feel like having a rudder or not is that noticeable. I can definitely understand on a 80mm
