Good video, straight to the point! Question: best extended (>2m) selfie stick for the X2? Best as in least sag when aiming for more horizontal (drone-like) shots. Preferrably also not too heavy and with ability to use at mid-extensions too. Is it the newest Insta360 Extended Edition?
Currently have a cheap carbon one, but if held at anything else than vertical, it sags and wobbles, making the footage less than optimal. Also rattles if not at maximum extension, which makes the audio unusable.. The newest Insta360 looks promising, if a bit thick and on the more expensive side.

Good video. I have been waiting for my space battery from B&H since March! I've never had to wait so long for a spare battery. I have ordered a knock off brand battery that can with a dual charger and 2 batteries from Amazon, one problem with those, not waterproof!
Yes I saw those third party batteries and wondered about them being waterproof - I’ve also noticed in the uk that there are some one x2 genuine insta batteries on Amazon so interesting that they have stock.

Thanks for the comment - there is a Bluetooth remote available with wrist mount but it’s around £50 and it’s designed for gps overlay - a simpler and smaller one like GoPro have would be perfect
Thank you for the vdo, do you have any recommendation for turning the 360 to the handfree camera?
To make it hands free you just have to use mounts: chest mount, helmet mount etc or just wedge the selfie stick in your belt, your shoe etc You can also use a tripod. Hope this helps.

I’ve got the unicorn mount which is great because it extends beyond the helmet and you can see your face and more of the bike. The problem with the ones that sit on top of the helmet is that the view of you is limited but they are good for looking around at others that are following you. I’m making a couple of bike mount videos soon.

I’m not sure what the stitching is like out of water with the dive case so I’d check that first on the Facebook groups - I probably wouldn’t do it that way, I’d get both but I like your thinking. I’ve got a feeling you can’t stitch the base of the case out of shot.
From what I know under water only uses one camera no full 360
Stitch line question. If I have my gps remote attached to the invisible selfie stick, do I have to make any adjustments in post edit.
You can’t adjust for it but just keep it at the bottom - it may create a small black blob but the longer your selfie stick the smaller it will be.
Thoughts on the GPS remote? Debating getting it to make it easier to start/stop recording when it's attached to a helmet or something out of reach.
I’ve haven’t used it enough to give a fair assessment. It is really convenient for on the bike. Some say the battery life isn’t great but I don’t go out for long rides so can’t really say. I picked mine up secondhand on eBay.
@@EatSleep360 thanks, might have to go and try it. Snowboarding is right around the corner...would be nice to not have to take gloves off every time or unscrew the X2 from mount.

My favourite accessory came with the motorcycle bundle and its the insta strong clamp that will fix to virtually anything and is strong enough to hold an extended selfie stick with the camera on the end.
Getting spare batteries from Insta took ages and I've still only been able to source 2 lower capacity batteries.
I noticed that insta batteries are in stock on Amazon - haven’t checked the capacity - thanks for the comment
I want to mount my Insta360 oneX2 on top of my bicycle helmet but am struggling to find the right product for delivery in the UK - can you help?

Will the One X2 cam be able to hide the extended selfie sticks like it does with it’s own Insta360 selfie stick?
Sometimes you have to rotate the camera so the bend is hidden in the stitch line but most of the time it just disappears easily
Between the one x2 and one r, could you answer,
1: could you get good results filming an interview/podcast with 360?
2: when would I ever use the 4k instead of focusing the 360 view?
Play activities would consist of traveling, mountain biking, kayaking.
For podcast you wouldn’t need 360, it would create more work and bigger files. You would use the 4K mod for higher resolution filming and for better slow motion and for an easier and faster workflow. I prefer the One x2 as it’s more compact and portable - I’m not a big fan of all the modules with the ONE R. But for action sport I’d get the lens guards for both cameras.
@@EatSleep360 I would prefer the ONE X2 as well because of the same reasons that you've stated, plus I doubt the water proofing of it. Do you think that the single lens setting is any good with the ONE X2?
The single lens mode is ok but it’s tricky to frame up without the app. I haven’t really compared the image quality but it won’t be as good as the 4K mod - so it depends what your needs are.

There are only few videos on UA-cam how to mount go pro max on a bike but they are not useful and not professional like you made every video in details.
What accessories would You recommend for a biker?
Insta have a motorbike mount package and it’s very similar to the ram mounts but I think it’s cheaper - I’ve just got one and will be mounting it on my push bike soon as I think the mounts are more stable. The other mount worth considering for strength is the manfrotto super clamp - it’s big but will not budge - depends where you are mounting it though as it could cause some damage.

It can but it sticks out a lot. For body mounting shots you are better with a lower profile 360 camera like the one rs. Or if you don’t want 360 then you could get a gopro.
can I use the mic shoe and the premium lense guard together?
You’ll need to use the Ulanzi pt20 bracket which gives you a shoe under camera - the guards don’t work with the cage

Nothing floaty? Just bought mine yesterday, awesome for skating. I want to use it for surfing as well but I have mixed feelings about gwtting in the water without any protection.. Alot of stories about getting water inside the lens anyways hmmm… Also cant find any floating devices such as an floating case or something
Check out the nubear nugrip selfie stick tripod - it floats and it’s waterproof 👍🏼
@@EatSleep360 yeah, although it looks pretty solid, its not something you can take with you when surfing. I used to mount my gopro to my board (with that orange floating thing on the back) and then for different shot use the gopro mouth piece for POV. While I can do the same for the insta360 its a much bigger risk when the camera falls while changing or when in mouth because it’ll be gone for sure. See what I mean here..

For some reason these are hard to get hold of but the one you need to search for is the Ulanzi pt-20 invisible mic bracket - you could try eBay or direct from Ulanzi. It’s beyond me why these brands don’t make more of these essential accessories. Sorry I can’t help more.
