I have ocd too! Started treatment in 2021. It’s hard sometimes but well done for speaking about it here and being vulnerable, and for accepting it. So much respect for you x
Hey fellow Illinois person! I’m up in the north Chicago suburbs, it’s still decently cool here. I hate dishes so much that my roommate and I split chores and I instantly accepted his offer to do dishes if I took care of the garbage. He creates more garbage than you would think is humanly possible but I’m still happy with the deal lol. Keep the videos coming, I’ve watched them all so far and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens now that you’re out west.
Hi Illinois person! I actually spent the last 5-ish years living in Chicago and the Chicago area right before moving into the bus. I know those winters can reallllly drag out. Hang in there!
Good job editing video. Not a fan of dishes and don't always get to them right away so I have a plastic basin that I keep in the sink filled with water and dish soap. I let the dishes soak so when I do wash them they're a little easier to clean. I know water is not easy to keep replenished with your lifestyle but perhaps could fill basin and cover when you refill all your containers with water. Probably easier said then done :{ Take care, Andi!
You are doing Great! Change is hard. Heat is Really hard. It takes so much out of you. I lived in Lake Havasu Arizona and the San Fernando valley California. I would get extra water and have a little foot pool. Or find a body of water and stay near it. A swim in the morning and at night or whenever you want is Seriously refreshing. And the water will help with your sinuses. That's all you can do in the heat is find Water. And please be careful of scorpions that are light-colored because those are the dangerous ones, sun spiders which are also light-colored they have a very nasty bite. Look in your shoes before you put them on. And this is a random thought, different places have different feelings to them. Some places make you feel heavier and some places actually feel lighter. The heat is heavy and can be suffocating. Never be ashamed of working through your feelings. Your mind is expanding and learning all new things. It is a process. And Amazon has a neck air conditioner you wear around your neck for $40. And there are AC units for buses. Maybe look on your local Craigslist if you guys are going to be staying where there's going to be heat not to mention this summer is going to be hell so maybe look at a junkyard or something like that. Find water. Stay near water in the hot places. You are doing fabulous!😊😊😊🎉

Perfectly said. Your real and transparent.
Expectation VS reality can be rough at times even if you know it's coming. Good video!
Absolutely. And thank you so much!
I think you're amazing I enjoy watching your videos you do a good job and I don't like doing dishes either
Thank you so much!
I’m not fond of dishes either. I also hate dusting. I probably hate dusting more than dishes. I hope you’re having a better week.
haha dusting isn't super fun either. and thank you!
“ a place of the desert” 😂😂
Best tip is to stop moisturising. It takes a while. And use only water to wash. It will solve it self.👌

I've actually considered the idea! I may try to get my hands on a collapsable bucket soon.
I would rather do almost anything to get out of doing dishes.Still 50 and 60 degrees in Montana.Great video.
Anywhere between 50-70 degrees is my preferred temperature. I'm betting it gets pretty cold at night there still, though!

Thanks for all the advice! I appreciate your comments! I'll definitely be parking near water whenever I can.
I'm 39 and dishes are still my least my favourite chore. 😂
i imagine dishes will always be at the top of my most-hated-chore list
I used to hate ironing before I got married, then miraculously it went away 😅. Quick question if it’s so hot can’t you relocate a bit further north?
we are actually planning to head north pretty soon!
love me some raw onion too
glad it's not just me!
