So cool!! I want a star wars ,razor crest ship wrap for my ford transit but the art work has not been up to my expectations... loved the texture on this. I would love to see how you would do one... love your attention to detail.
Wow, you've got great taste! It's funny you mention the Razor Crest because I’m actually in the middle of a super fun project where we’re turning a Cybertruck into a UFO, and we're drawing inspiration from that iconic ship! Can you believe it?! 😄 This video is from 5 years ago, and I've honed my skills significantly since then. Thanks so much for your kind words and for taking the time to watch my video 🥰
I just started wrap designing in a shop, have my first print project and you just saved my life! Thank you so much for this, i hope i can get better and better now
Very seldom I watch a video longer than 5 minutes - this one I watched till the end. Your tutorials are very easy to understand, and you're perfectly describing every step. Can't wait to see the next one! Greetings from Germany :)
Hello! I like this type of educational content, your way of teaching the techniques and that desire for things to be in the best possible way. I am a designer and I am writing to you from Maracaibo Venezuela, I really like the theme of the wrap, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
D’awww!! ❤️❤️❤️ You made my entire week with that comment! Thank you so much 🙏 I’m working on creating more videos, so buckle up!! You rock, Barry! Thanks again for your kind words ☺️
@@CurveWraps Ah thank you, you are more than welcome. I've just found your channel yesterday and think I've watched everything, you are very good at what you do!. I work almost exclusively in Illustrator, I see you mentioned possible illustrator video's? I'd be very interested to watch any of them you might decide to do also. Best of luck with your channel and keep it up, your work is great!
Thank you for such an in depth tutorial. Your work is always very pleasing to the eye and you have such a great natural talent for this. Keep up the good work and can’t wait to see what else you bring to the table.
You just keep getting better and better with each video! For what this advice might be worth, a unique greeting (like Phil Defranco's "Sup you beautiful bastards"), or a Intro Graphic is something I see from a lot of successful content creators. Like putting a bow on an already great present. Just a thought. Keep up the great work.
Bravo Kilo thanks!! I’ll keep it in mind - awesome advice! This is only my second video and I just hope they get better and better 😁 Just gotta put out as much content as I possibly can!
Really good job on the tutorials. I'd love to see more videos from you, even if it's not tutorial based but just you designing wraps while showcasing a variety of techniques. I've been in the large format print industry for around 15 years and you've upped my design game significantly. From one canuck to another, thank you!
Great stuff. Looking forward to the panelling tips. Would love to get your thoughts on graphic alignment across panels eg. quarter to trunk/hood etc or how to create your own panel templates
Just recently discovered you and your work on TWI. This stuff is amazing, thank you for the dedication to the industry. Making everyone better rather than just stashing away those “secrets” helps all of us to better expand awareness and legitimize the industry as well as creatively compete for uniqueness. And for someone breaking into the industry this is like gold. My partner identifies with you in so many ways in your videos and she loves to learn how to design. Thanks so much! Keep it going. You’ll do great!
Awww!!! Reading this just made me smile from ear to ear! Thank you SO much! Honestly, comments like yours just make me want to keep pushing forward. The majority of this industry just doesn't understand how teaching your craft and sharing these "secrets" helps us become better. I mean... Yes, it took me time to learn but someone had to teach me as well!! I just want to pay it forward! Thank you again for your kind words, you rock man!!
I'm Kieran from South Africa thank you I'm a Corel designer and working with guys who use illustrator and Photoshop and i need to make a rust effect wrap and your help is really amazing Adobe illustrator and photoshop can do better design but I'm not being dis loyal to Corel draw cause Corel has its advantages that Adobe doesn't but when it comes to downloading vectors and opening it up in Corel and working with it is hard where by Adobe offers so much more and i want to better myself I'm self thought senior designer in Corel but need to learn adobe and thank you for sharing really teaching me a lot
It's awesome you share ALL of your knowledge and tips to help better others in their work. If the tools are out there, why not. Maybe down the road you can actually show a design you're working on and then actually go team up with a wrap shop to show how they install your master piece! Design, print, install.
Maybe you mentioned it in the video and I just missed it, but what resolution were you designing at? Is it hard on your computer to design at that scale in Photoshop? I've only ever done it in Illustrator.
Hi Christina, thanks for the Tutorial, i watched it two times now and i cant find an answer for my question - whats the size of the document you are working on?
@Curve Wraps Hello, I have just a few question on how you got started with car vinyl design as a career. Whether you work for someone or manage your own business along with how you from zero to vinyl designing for clients is my bases of my question that have. I have decided to also have an interest in vinyl design due to being an artist and my love for cars. If you can shed some light on it, that would be great
Troy Elias Hey Troy!! I’ve been off the grid for a while now because of family issues. But I do have more videos currently in the works. I would definitely consider doing some one on one tutorials - feel free to email me with your proposal. Christina@curvewraps.com always happy to help!
Hi Curve, well done! now show us how you scale it up and prepare for HR Print please, so the rip does not get mad and the operators don't want to strangle you. ;) Big UP nice designs BTW
Wow, thank you so much for your sweet comment! You have no idea how much it means to me. Losing my Dad has been really tough, and I'm still figuring out how to navigate life without him. But comments like yours make me feel loved and supported, even on the hardest days. I'm working on getting better, one day at a time, and knowing that there are people out there who care makes all the difference. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness and encouragement. You're awesome!
I love it! Keep up the amazing work Christina! And I love the vehicle wrap!
