If you popup the scale window by hitting s and then return, check off stroke and corner edges if needed. That way when you resize, the stroke width stays the same while resizing it manually. Saves a lot of hustling, i saw you reapply the stroke width a couple times. Its just a little handy trick :)
What platform are you using??? because I have an hp Chromebook (downloaded the adobe CC) and it looks nothing like what you have. I don’t have any of the tools you used!
This was an excellent tutorial. Thank you for taking the time to put this up, Carley! It's always such a pleasure working with you and now that I have some more insight as to how you work I will be sure to make your job much easier for future jobs I send to WePrintWraps and my other vendors. Thanks again. Can't wait to see more videos. I'd love to see one on how to get bumpers to seamlessly line up with the side fenders. 😖 I have some ideas, but I'd like to see your approach.
Thanks Scott! Making the sides line up with bumpers and hood is a tricky one! Usually when designing I try to stay away from putting artwork on those areas just so I can make it easier for my installer and if I do decide to put artwork there I try to make sure its pretty busy so if it is slightly off you cant really tell. But I am working on figuring out the best way to do this and I will get a video out for it! Stay tuned :)
Yep! generally keep the seams or wrap around as a solid color or as an insignificant background that will be hard to notice. If you find a new method I'd love to hear!
A THOUSAND TIMES, Thank you for posting a clear and precise step-by-step how to wrap a vehicle! If I may ask.. Where can I (we) find various cargo truck/van templates? I hope someone sees this question!! Thanks
Hi there from England, two questions, why do you make the fill black before you turn the template round the opposite way, also ,how can I turn my template from left to right without the type face the font, turning out backwards.Appreciate any information. Thank you.
dont know if anyone cares but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my gf for the last days :)
I wonder if its faster making artbaords of those panels and then make separate EPS or PDF files from those artboards vs making clipping masks and doing all the tedious work of clipping them. Or just print from them directly since they are set with overlap anyways. It think that is faster all you will need just 1 design, If something changes, its easier adjusting it. PS you have tricks for making letterwork ready for kisscut stickers? I now setup an action which does the automated work for me. BUt i wonder how other tackle this
Все проще. Создаете новый слой и прямоугольниками отмечаете будущие монтажные области. Выделаете все прямоугольники и конвертируете их в монтажные области. Через сочетание клавиш в 1 клик. Я так экспортрую множество полей. / Everything is easier. Create a new layer and mark future artboards with rectangles. Select all the rectangles and convert them to artboards. 100% scale??? you must end-up with massive final file sizes.... if designs use any type of raster/images, just wondering why not use updated vehicle/truck templates... so much faster. To each their own !!
WOrking in scale doesnt help keeping size down. When you work in scale that means your DPI needs to multiplied so its still same raster image. If you dor work 1/1 use lower DPI if you can get away with it. BUt generally wrappings and designs are preferable done in vector
@@mreoski There is a car with 1:1 dimensions. What scale should I set in Illustrator? And if there are bitmaps, how much dpi should I set? For example the car drawing is 1:25, then the raster images are dpi 120? thanks
So glad i use metric, when working in 10% its way easier vs imperial. Simply move the dot one digit. No need to use calculator or do all kinds of calculations
Awesome - I love it when I find a video that shows exactly what I needed to know! Thanks!!

My professor had told me chromebooks suck for Adobe Products, such as: indesign, illustrator, photoshop, light room, etc
Thank you . You are a very good tutor . My thank was from my heart that I cannot express you in my text .

Thank you so much! I'm going to do a truck and a boat wrap this week. I'll let you know how I make out.
So did it work out? :)
Cool! Nice job ! You're hired!
What templates do you use and/or where do you get them?

Suuuper helpful content. Thank you for taking to time to go through this.
Excellent! Thank you very much! Would love if you can also walk us through the settings to save for print? Anything special we need to do?

@Gavin Jesse Yea, have been using Instaflixxer for since december myself =)
Any information on this?

I fr wanna get a custom paint job but there's no way to actually view what they'd look like via app. Thisll work though. Ty
Where’d you get the template?!
Where we install mockups for vehicle wrap design ?
How u make sure the pattern on the rear doors align with the side?
did u ever know ?
During the video I realised that to me you sound so like Mila Kunis, and I now can't unhear it! 😂 Brilliant video, thank you for making it! ☺
Now, I'll I hear is Meg Griffin
If the image from the side goes to the bonnet, how much room should be left on the side or is it better to leave more room on the bonnet for the bend?
Thanks for sharing! What type of vinyl do you use and is it removable?
What program are you using?
Nice job!
Good job. I have questions for you.
Did you draw this template or did you download from somewhere?
Thanks for sharing! Very helpful.
This is super helpful! Thank you! How do you make your templates?
Yo can take it from: catalog.provehicleoutlines.com/
@@UndermaticGod send. 🙏
None of these tutorials mention where to get the actual template files
Great video wow !!!
Nice and bold design! Though i would add phone or social info as well.
Seriously? This was a demo for how to layout a design. I seriously doubt this actually went on a van 🙄
Thank you so much ❤️🥺🥺

Where do you get the template.
Illustrator does math for you. So you can just type in + in the width and height box and then the number you want to add then tab.
Can the windows still roll down with the wrap over it?
What software are you using?
Hmmm did you read the title of the video? 🤡

I don't get how 4.4 is 44 inches??
Hi. She is working at a scale of 1:10. So any number she works with will be multiplied by 10 for the final output.

But thanks got Illustrator can do calculations in the input fields. I remember the old days, nothing like that could be done.
hey please publish some new complete tutorial ....plz plz plz
great great
You really need to make sure your illustration is 1/1 otherwise it will be a mess
