I love this Rod. I have to have this for the collection kind sir. Thank you for sharing this with us. 8^)
Anthony..
You're more than welcome Anthony.
Thank you for dropping a comment here too.
I remember, back in the day, there was a hardware video mod you could do which inverted the output, so default would be white text on black background. But not in software. I can imagine how Paul has done it, but it is all devious code beyond my current skillset...
You can imagine better than me. I got as far as 10 MAKE BORDER 0 20 GOTO 10
Then I remember the ZX81 had no commands like this and I was knackered.
@@Villordsutch sounds like a legitimate command to me!! or maybe just, as per ZX Spectrum:
10 BORDER 0
;-)
I think we're onto Paul's programming together. He's fooled the ZX81 into believing it's a ZX Spectrum :D
Amazing feat of voodoo! Looks tons better. I cannot fathom how things like this can be possible. What next?
Well he's.... Wait.... I can't tell you...
Black border! When I was a kid I was always wondering if this would be possible. How is this done?
I've dropped a link to the ZX Resource Centre in the description above. Paul, the chap who runs both the site and created this port will be far better at explaining it.
@@Villordsutch I'm thrilled to learn more about it!
