Hello. Tom from California. 77 year old newbe. Been watching for about a month. Working on clouds. Watched your cloud tutorials over and over again and made dozens of attempts and making progress.
I think I started following you a few yrs ago. I did a painting ...not very good...but i did it. Got side tracked with acrylic pouring and now I am back ready to redo that old painting and hopefully make it better! Color mixing is a real art! I have been painting along with you on this one and it is ready for the waves. Will watch this a few times first and have a go at it! Thank you..this has been so enjoyable! I live in Michigan and love the water! I am not far from Lake Michigan and love watching the wave action! Love the palm trees of Florida as well! So...i may throw a palm tree on this canvas too! Bless you and your teaching abilities!
Ian, than you again for helping me restart my painting, I just sold 2 more, for a total of 7 sold, and 5 given away.(family & friends)......it's so much fun when someone appreciates what your hand has crafted!....(i sell dirt cheap so I can buy another canvas and tube of paint. Glad I am able to support your tutorials!
Fantastic!
Ian, you are amazing at painting life to the picture! I did my 1st spring painting of a sky, clouds, and ocean. Your stream really helped me today. Keep em coming, buddy. Thanx TreV from Sunny South-east Uk
Love this one. Your waves look so natural. I’m still working on getting mine to look normal, but so far no luck😢.
Hi, Ian. I've been watching your tutorials for about 2 years now. You've been an inspiration in my art journey. Thank you, and long may it continue. Stuart - UK

Outstanding mate. Never seen you use a stretched canvas before. Beautiful subject.
ماشاء الله تبارك الرحمن.. very nice thank you T/lan
Dear Ian, the background music was loud and certainly intrusive and migrainous. Thank you for sharing your talent. I love it.

Hallo from Norway🎨👍
Nice 😊
Looks awesome Ian! Thanks for sharing!
Hi, I can not find a decent 2" blending brush like the one you used in your clouds tutorial for first timers. I have a synthetic 2 inch brush but it makes a disaster of my clouds. May I ask where you got your particular 2 inch blending brush? Oh and thanks for the time and effort you put into teaching me the finer points of painting.
hardware store
@@ianapolis Thanks for the quick response. Just one more question, is your brush bristle or synthetic?
😍👏👏👏👏👏
