Love Planthaven. I’ve purchased from them too. Yes we are colder and darker which makes our indoor plants so important to us to cultivate. Thanks for profiling them.
Ahem. Canadian here. I live on the farthest West you can get on the continent, Victoria BC, and we are most definitely not dark and cold! We almost never get below freezing and rarely snow. If we do get snow it's half an inch and its gone in a day or 2. Just want to make the point that we're a really big country and our climate is as varied and regional as yours❤️ (Sorry to be one of those commentators 💖) Thank you for sharing the beautiful plants! 🥰
Hi Nick! They sent you some really nice plants. I can't pick a favorite because they're all so pretty. Loved your response to the Epipremnum pinnatum "Marble"! LOL! Thank you so much for sharing!
Muchisimas gracias for this unboxing Nick! I used your promo code today to make a 1st time Planthaven purchase. Would not have bothered otherwise had it not been for your review. Your assessment of Hoya UT152 is on point. It gets pink with sun stress. Thank you for being you!
Hi Mick I live in Canada and glad to see an unboxing from a Canadian nursery! One thing though we are not any darker in Canada than the U.S and our temperatures are not that much colder than the U.S either. Anyway I enjoy your videos and help with my plants. I have alot to learn Thank you Jan
LOL you clearly are not living in Québec, because it is way colder here than in USA or even most of the rest of Canada :P (edit) like we've hit minus 45 degree celsius 3 weeks ago :P
Nick your plant unboxings are the best. Believe it or not, I watch with pen and paper to jot down the names of the plants I like so I can order them. Keep up the good work.
Enjoyable unboxing, Nick! And thanks for the code, which I will use! I’ve ordered twice (live in USA) from Planthaven Toronto and the plants come in darn near perfect condition and wonderful packaging! I’m looking forward to picking out some new plant friends from them this year! Also, would love to see a repot of the plants you received from them in your previous unboxing. 😊
Wow another great online plant store I wouldn't have known about if not for you! (the other one being gabriella plants which I LOVE and have ordered from multiple times!) thanks nick!
Reminder: its spring, the best time to take cuttings, propagate, obtain new plants and repot, they will make it the best now, especially picky ones. Remind your viewers about that, nobody should miss it😃!
Wow, no doubt you’ve made Planthaven Toronto very happy with this unboxing video. Each plant looks fresh and happy in their little, white pots. The only thing stopping me from visiting the site is a nasty femur injury ….. just trying to keep things hanging on ….. but one day. ONE DAY!!!! Anyway your content continues to hold my medicated attention quite nicely. And it feels like you’re feeling more settled in your “new” space these days. If so, congrats! Please, keep on doing your thing. If you ever visit NH, please think of me, my femur, and all the plants here needing better vibes to do THEIR things. Drop by, Nick!
You are totally entitled to any emotion, of course, but I am so glad to see a happy, upbeat Nick once again. Vicariously enjoying your unboxing of unknown treasures... lol!
Great video 😊 I'm stuck on 3 favorites. I love the skinny needle leaf Hoya and the white leaf plant and the shiny rubber leaf plant. Have a great day and happy houseplanting 🌱🌿😊🤗
The letters and numbers usually mean it is the collector and their collection number. If it ever gets assigned to a species there should be some record of that somewhere. Though some breeders use a similar code system for their hybrids. In this case it is from (Gerard) Paul Shirley in the Netherlands who has collected a huge number of Hoyas and sells cuttings of many on his website, along with some other genera. I swapped some cuttings of something he didn't have for something I wanted just before the UK got cut off from the continent. He doesn't send to the US, Russia or Australia.
The Hoya walilniana ut152 will sun stress to a beautiful purple. Mine put out a peduncle and then dropped the entire thing. Now patiently waiting for it to put out a whole new one
I realized recently they also sent one for the unboxing last year as well (they said it’s one of their favorites), which has some beautiful purple leaves growing in now!
So I can suspect that it was a promotional gift from that Canadian business to you as a popular youtuber. I can not see any real winter protection style packing. That means that they paid a lot to FedEx or about $109 to $159 to UPS to deliver it alive.
I love all your unboxings because the plants are unique. Can I make a suggestion, more close ups please.
Yes please.
Next time I will be sure to! I am still getting used to this set up and keep forgetting how much further away it is than before

I should have refreshed before I commented.
@@pattheplanter no worries!
Thanks for the explanation of the GPS & UT! Very helpful 😊
Wow, thanks for that! That answers literally everything 😄
the accession numbers are so smart for preserving the unique clones and their histories...love that about the hoya community!
Love your vibe in this one 😃 Thanks for the video, enjoy your new plants!

All beautiful👍

Nice painting!
Hi Nick 👋👋
Hello from New York 🍎
Love them all. I can’t wait to receive my order from plant haven!! ❤
I remember last year the silver hero was a big thing with some UA-camrs. Hoya are my faves so I think I might treat myself with your code Nick.
That marble cut plant would be my favorite one I tell you that! Nick I hope you update on those wonderful plants. 🌿🌵🪴

That epipremnum is simply gorgeous! 😍 The philodendron variegated is very cool too 😛
I used your code today!! Thank you ❤
Def a good variety! Planthaven Toronto is great, have gotten lots of cool hoyas from them in the past 😊
Such a beautiful selection, enjoy growing these beautiful plants! ❤❤
I like the white plant
I love planthaven Toronto. They always have something unique and are priced well.
While I love you and thank you for ordering from my local store, we are NOT colder and darker then the northern US.. 🌿🌞❄

Nick thank you for putting us on to plant haven Toronto. I just ordered a Hoya I was looking for and couldn’t believe they had it.
I love to hear that!! So many amazing Hoyas
Those are some expensive plants! Congratulations! ❄️💚🙃
Just ordered a philodendron splendid and used your code! Thank youuuu!!! 🙏🏼
Loved everything in your new haul! I’ll definitely check out their website.
Wow!!! Gorgeous plants, you lucky guy💚🌱🤗💚🌱😉 My fav is Hoya that looks kinda like a Callistophylla
Loved this video but I would prefer if the camera was closer to you so we could see the plants better
❤therm all… favorite part of the video? Your reaction to the marbling.. so genuine and beautiful
Haha it really caught me off guard!
@@NickPileggiPlants totally understand… I too was speechless when I saw 👀 it
I love most all of them! Great haul today, Nick.
There are 1,416 accepted species of Peperomia and 126 accepted species of Dischidia, so plenty of mind-blowing to come.
Hoyas!!!
Great video 😊 I'm stuck on 3 favorites. I love the skinny needle leaf Hoya and the white leaf plant and the shiny rubber leaf plant. Have a great day and happy houseplanting 🌱🌿😊🤗

Love your unboxing but could you run it up to the camera so old people like me can see it ? Please and thanks!
Putting toronto on the map!!
Greenhouses. We have greenhouses in Canada. ;)
I've got a new found addiction to hoyas I gotta check these out.. I wanna find the unique ones
They’ve got a LOT of unique ones!
Wow that marble was stunning… if only it wasn’t $170 😂😅
One day… one day!
Plant unrelated 😅 my partner is watching this with me and asked me to ask you where did you get the painting on the wall behind you lol
It’s from World Market!
The Hoya walilniana ut152 will sun stress to a beautiful purple. Mine put out a peduncle and then dropped the entire thing. Now patiently waiting for it to put out a whole new one

The white leaf…gah she is sexy! Nice haul Nick 👌
I noticed all these were in moss. Are these rooted or cuttings?
Ecuagenera show in April lol are you going ?I want a monstera aurea but this is my first time going do you know if they would have that there?
I’ve never been!
@Nick Pileggi lol ok I'll just go and take a peek 😂
🇨🇦
Just looked up the marble. $185?!!!! Shoot.😬
Will there be customs and delayed shipment from canada?
Nope! They ship in the US from New York
So I can suspect that it was a promotional gift from that Canadian business to you as a popular youtuber. I can not see any real winter protection style packing. That means that they paid a lot to FedEx or about $109 to $159 to UPS to deliver it alive.
The problem is we can't see the plant up close, what's the point of unboxing video?
Expensive
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🌱🌱🌱
Tired of always Hoyas
What? It’s not dark in Canada!! That was a very uneducated statement.
Sensitive much?
I am not uneducated and we are no darker here than the U.S! I love Nicks videos..thats what is important.
when a UA-camr holding a plant that comes from ur country and butchered the name, my mouth goes "honey, that's not how u pronounce it" 😄🫵
Sorry babes I tried 💋
You should visit Canada some time Nick. I'm sure you'd love it.
