How To Calculate Normality & Equivalent Weight For Acid Base Reactions In Chemistry
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 січ 2025
- This chemistry video tutorial provides a basic introduction into Normality for acid base reactions. It explains how to calculate the normality of a solution from Molarity and how to calculate it by determining the equivalent weight of a substance. Normality is defined as the number of equivalent weights per liter of a solution. This tutorial contains plenty of examples and practice problems. It explains how to calculate normality using a unit conversion / dimensional analysis process.

He speaks the language of chemistry, doesn't make any mistakes, doesn't delay calculations, doesn't promote his channel, doesn't have bad quality issues whatsoever and best of all, he explains it the clearest in the shortest time!
Ok
this man has single handedly saved countless people's chem grades.
I owe him my medical entrance 🥴✨
Not only chemistry!!..
yes he does

Same here😭😭😭
Don't underrate yourselves. Compare what he taught with what's provided in your textbook... You'd grab it faster. 😉
replace oh with h...count how many replaced..and multiply the no. with given mass of compound...done. And for equaivalent mass , divide molar mass with the the no of replacebale oh with h, the same way u did with normality
Never use negative words for yourself, you are intelligent enough to learn this concept . Relax
Memorise it.
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for an awesome Introduction into Normality for Acid Base Reactions in AP/General Chemistry. The definition of Normality along with the practice problems/examples are off the learning charts. This is an error free video/lecture on UA-cam TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
This tutor is a wizard, I don't read my textbooks anymore, your videos are excellent. You must be a professor.
doesn't sound like one , lol
But hes very good
this literally saved me from failing my quiz, thanks a lot! Please make more videos, you're a great tutor!

can you tell me what the solution for this question 👇
A 3.0 solution of aluminum sulfate Al2(SO4)3 Normality what the molarity????
Can you answer please I need it too much I have an exam tomorrow 🙏🙏🙏🤕🥺
@@sherlockholmes6803 normality is molarity multiplied with n factor. So molarity will be normality divided by nf. Normality is given 3.0 and nf of aluminium sulfate is 6 (charge on cations ot anions is the nf for ionic compounds.) Divididing normality 3 by nf 6 gives 0.5 which will be the molarity
You're the best really,thank u so much
I used to watch ur videos in School and now I am watching ur videos in Uni
