This summer I put on a piece of PVC pipe on the plow in an attempt to stop digging up the gravel. Finally got a little snow the other day, maybe 2 inches so I decide to test it out.
Get angle irons, have them welded into a V attach a ring at the point and add a chain. Drag that behin your atv in gravel and smaller accumulated nuisance snow. You'll be impressed.
On a real cold day the PVC will crack if you happen to hit a rock, ABS is a lot more durable. I've been using this hack for a few years now.
