6:23 this is the Medway crossing and I live half a km as the crow flies from this bit of track. The Medway area is a lovely bit of countryside and I love to cycle there! There is even a track/road that runs parallel up hill to this bit of Eurostar track. Lots of other cyclists and mountain bikers love this too…. Anyways imagine slogging it up this muddy hill on your bike on a Sunday morning as the Eurostar bombs past you just several feet away! 😂
While I’m here I’d encourage people thinking of visiting London by train to also consider places like Canterbury and Rochester in their trips if they’re interested in medieval history and or literary history :)

Nice route, i was on it a few years ago when UK was in the EU. Interesting to see how they built the whole border control things in the Paris Station!
I’ve been on Eurostar from London St. Pancras International to Brussels and also been to Paris as well. I do like London St. Pancras International.
