The dowel you used looked to be the size of the handle of a rake or broom. I will be making these like a lot who are watching. Good Luck to everyone who tries making the Gloria Swag 😀😀😀❤️❤️❤️
This is pure talent! I really like your design. The way you bring the wire to life with such elegance and sophistication is amazing. I'm really looking forward to the next earring design.
I have been making wire jewelry to sell at a local boutique for years. I watch youtube videos to get new ideas and techniques to make new jewelry. I have systemic lupus, which makes my joint hurt. Unfortunately, using my block and hammer (either hammer) hurts me alot. The heavier the hammer the more it hurts. But as you well know if you don't work harden your wire it's very difficult if not impossible to get you jewelry to maintain its shape. So no matter how much it hurts I do it. And yes I know using my nylon jaw pliers work harderns it some but you won't get the same amount of hardness & it takes alot of straightening 😂. Your down idea is the best practical advice I have heard in at least a year. What size dowl are you using in the video? That wire is really straight. I have to buy one and I would love to buy 1 the same size as you have. It also is large enough to hold onto which would help your joints. Can you help a girl out.😊😊😊
Thanks, Gabell! This dowel is 1 inch in diameter. I get them at the local hardware store, they're a couple of feet and I just cut them down to about 4 inches, which is comfortable for me to hold. If you have a small rolling pin, that works great too! Thanks for watching and I'm glad you like the idea, it really does work! My friend Bonnie shared it with me years ago. Have fun!
thank you, Judy! They work out great in the tumbler using only Jewelry Shot, soap and water... no grit. I'm also using stones that I know are hardy enough for the tumbler. I hope that helps!

Love these earrings! How do you polish these in a tumbler with a bead in the earring?

@@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry Can you tell me about how long you tumble them for?
