What do you think about the headlights? Do they light up the road much further than the stock ones? I know there's Morimoto but they're very expensive and people have said the light output is kinda weak.
To be frank, they're 50% for looks and 50% for light output. With the right LED bulbs in the low beams, these will be a bit brighter than stock headlights with good LED bulbs. Don't expect these to be a humongous upgrade in light output and you'll be satisfied
Do you get the sense that with proper maintenance this truck could go 200k- 300k miles? The 9 speed transmission is a ? ….. That’s a lot gears for an automatic? Got a ‘21’ 4x and really like it. Same exact truck actually….. What’s the benefit of the oil catch can?
I think so. The engine itself is very solid, being based on the legendary VQ series of engines. The transmission is the unknown. It's already been used in Mercedes models for many years, although this one is built in Japan by JATCO. Only time will tell. As for the oil catch can, it's supposed to keep the intake valves clean by catching oil vapor before it re-enters the intake manifold. Again, only time will tell how much it helps. Fingers crossed.

@@frontier_etc roughly how many miles do you currently have on yours? I felt the this truck offered more value than the Tacoma
@@gswguy4554 27,000 miles. No issues at all. I have read of someone with over 60,000 miles I think, and also no problems.
