You can also angle the board itself diagonally over the roller. This way you will train not only side to side, but front to back balance. I also sometimes place the board in the same direction as the roller to train heel/toe balancing :)
Hi, I’m start with balance board right now because I would like to SUP surfing starting. Thank you for your video with this exercises. I will definitely try it.
Thank you Daniel for another great beginning balance board video! I just started with an Indo board and I'm trying not to break any bones (haha) I have lots of pillows! Even though I live in SoCal I'm actually not a surfer - I'm using the balance board for horseback riding (don't want to break any bones falling off a horse either), but I have fun pretending I'm surf training 😆I actually have 2 questions - (1) you mentioned warming up - do you do that on or off the board? Just some simple jumping jacks or running in place or something like that? And (2) how long is your average training session? I've not been warming up (doh!) and doing 5 minutes, but the 5 minutes is starting to seem rather short. THANK YOU! 🙏
Its more important to do it frequently instead of long sessions. (1) yes warm up is important. Easy movements around 5-10minutes. Yes easy jog for example, walking on the place, knee ups, thats perfect
