- Sit back and enjoy the iconic Berkshire lead an excursion throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan! Nickel Plate Road 765 has been a favorite of mine for years, so getting the chance to chase it all weekend was a blast! I have other videos from this trip coming out in the future including more steam action from the Little River Railroad and the always busy NS Chicago Line! Hope you all enjoy!

Thanks for watching and enjoy the Labor Day weekend!
This is Why I Am Still In Love with American Steam Locomotives So Much ! ❤
The actual reason why 765 is running was because of Ross Rowland's operations with it's sister 759, I'm friends with ex VP fireman Hank Webber who fired up 759 with the High Iron Company in the late 60s and 70s
Riding behind the 765 on the Detroit Arrow (from Detroit, MI to Ft. Wayne, IN and back) was my first exposure to railfanning and would inspire me to get into the hobby a year later. I would love to go back North to see the 765 again one of these days. She is a beautiful machine. Great video Bishop. Looking forward to more from this trip!
Great job Bishop, something like this is an experience of a lifetime.
Yep definitely one for the books!
Bishop- You never disappoint me. What I like is the history along with the great video.-Bob
Thanks as always Bob!
I’m part of the 576’s group that’s restoring the 4-8-4 Dixie type to running condition. It’s great to see 576’s voice be heard before it’s returned to the ol girl in the music city.
No. 765, You're the Best American Steam Locomotive In The Whole Entire Total Universe
Excellent video of a phenomenal locomotive. I had the chance to ride behind this engine during one of its trips over Norfolk Southern back in 2015. Thanks for sharing.
Must’ve been a great experience. Thanks for watching!
Another very cool video with great documentation and commentary. Have a great rest of your Friday evening.
Another great video, Bishop. I'm glad you got a chance to get out or Ruston for a few days.
Thanks! Managed to get out of town a decent amount over the summer.
Summer break has been very productive, thanks! And nice work finding manicured lawns!
Many thanks!

Awesome chase of the 765 Bishop, pal! That 765 has a very unique whistle like no other.
Thanks Aaron
Very professional Bishop! That engine is definitely high on my bucket list.
Well worth it man. I need to join y’all for a chase of 2102.
Nice video Bishop they was running motorcars on this line with 765 the weekend before this excursion
We actually saw them while we were out. I got a video clip of them running by during the layover. They’ll be in a future video.
765 has a very unique whistle
No doubt. 576’s sounded great too. Thanks for watching.
@@LouisianaRailProductions And soon to be on the return of 576 when completed!
Good stuff, 765 is definitely high on my list for mainline excursion stars to see.

Appreciate it David! Yeah looking over the summer, I’ve hardly posted anything from my home state haha!
Awesome video. I have photographed alot of steam locomotives over the years, this is one I haven't had a chance to photograph yet
Definitely go for it whenever you get the chance. 765 puts on quite the show!
Wonder if 765 can reunite with 1225 and 611?
My grandfather worked Nickel plate railroad and worked over Lima Ohio and run nickel plate road 765 new out of. Lima locomotive works 1944 .
