counting from 21 to 100 in German was surprisingly easy for me. 😃 Because in Arabic this is exactly how we do it, we pronounce the right digit first, add "and", then pronounce the left digit, unlike in English. 🤩

@user7863. haha, thanks for chekcing in. I live in berlin with sub-conversational german. I went to german langauge school for 5 months, while working so I didn't soak up as much as I could have. I think if I just studied consistently I'd be fluent by now. And knowing that, I'm sure I'll still not study consistently.

There is a knowledge TV-Show for kids in Germany called 'Die Sendung mit der Maus ' (The show with the mouse). In there they explained all the little things of life for kids. But frequently it's also interesting for adults! I think, it also could be interesting for german beginners, because of the easy language and the explanations are very well. I remember when I was a kid mom taught me how to count to five in German. She was very picky on pronunciation. Her side is German and Hungarian but American born. I don’t remember her teaching of open and close the window in German. But the funny thing is when people sneeze I can only respond in German. Never learned the English for it.

Zwei und drei klingen sehr ähnlich. Gerade bei wichtigen Nummern (Konto, Telefonnummern) sagen viele 'zwo' statt 'zwei' damit man es auf keinen Fall verwechselt oder falsch hört.

The big challenge is writing German numbers. There is "1" which can look like an upside-down V. There is "7" with the middle line. Nine looks like a g. 1,234.56 is 1.234,56.
