I TRIED IT: Wilson Evolution - Used 1/2 of a 2 oz Bottle Before: Ball needed aired up each day before use (was going from 7.5 psi down to 3 psi overnight) After: Ball has been aired up for almost a week and has gone from 7.5 psi to 7 psi with near daily use inside and outside. Any weight the liquid added is negligible. You can feel the liquid splash inside if you shake the ball and listen for it, but not necessarily with normal use (nobody I've played with has seemed to notice anything different about the ball.) The bottle says the product will remain liquid for 1 to 7 months.
My granddaughter's old nylon basketball, which she had found and was very proud of, hit a broken-off deck screw while she was shooting baskets into the basketball hoop she had gotten for Christmas, and our daughter and I attached to an elevated clubhouse in their back yard, that week. She was heartbroken - but grandpa said he would fix it. When I got this product and inserted it with a 20 mL hypodermic syringe and basketball inflator needle screwed in, then pumped air in with a bicycle tire pump, it sealed the puncture. A couple days later I added more sealant and air to fully inflate the basketball and it has been holding perfectly ever since. Thank you! Excellent video and excellent product!
Damn thank you for this tip man my ball in Philippines cost me 2700pesos so its so hard to throw it away when i see this vid man i was so happy that i can repair it now its repaired thanks man❤

Thanks mate! My son got his cousins old basketball for practise, but it was full of small puntures. First put too much sealant in, but got the excess away with ball needle. Now it works as it should! Would’ve bummer to throw that ball away. Cheers!
Thank you. I I got the idea from a friend who is a mountain biker. The inside of that basketball is the same material as the inside of the mountain bike. I figured it would work.
My Wilson Evolution ball definitely feels a little heavier right now. Might be better trying half a bottle initially and see if that is enough before doing the whole bottle
Yeah, i put like 15 ml of it in my ball, its got to be about 15 grams, and i dont feel the liquid, it just made a single film inside the ball I wouldnt recommend to put too much because as time goes on, the sealant dries, and if it dries at the bottom in one spot, you can get the ball off balance, and it really messes up the feel and control you get
hi, thx for the advice. I have a $60 Wilson AVP volleyball that for some reason is leaking from most of the seams. Gonna try this technique and well let the world know if it works!
@michaeljohnsonofficial Thanks for the superb tip / idea Michael. Watched it in India just now. Throwing away or giving to recycle was the only option with me but just a few minutes away a thought came to my mind that's let's check up on Google if some idea is posted to save the ball and Google showed your UA-cam video and I am amazed for your thought of trying a tyre sealant. Superb .God bless you

hey man can i ask how heavy the baskeball would be if i put a whole bottle in. my basketball has small leaks and i think it feels light compare to other balls so i want to fix the leaks and make it little heavier
@@michaeljohnsonofficial thanks. I found another video of someone using a can of fix a flat on a soccer ball. It has a little hose and valve where you can screw on the inflating needle for balls. I picked up a can at walmart and did it earlier and I think worked!
USE STAN'S! IT WORKS AS ADVERTISED HERE! Half a bottle, injected with a inflator needle screwed into a 20 cc hypodermic syringe with a LuerLock tip and inflated with a bicycle tire pump fixed my granddaughter's punctured nylon basketball.
I’ve seen some people get syringes with thick, rounded needles and inject the sealant/glue in that way. If you’ve got a big enough hole you can inject the stuff directly into the hole in the ball, otherwise you just inject it into the valve and shake it around so it covers everything.
Hello, I got the sealant to try to fix my basketball, but the solution has a lot of granules. Was yours like that or was it all liquid? If it did, did it not clog up the needle?
Yo bro wassup I do that’s yesterday like u and my air in the ball go off what should I do? And my ball I new I bought it last Thursday I really hope u that answer me cuz I don’t have nothing to do
Does that actually work bro ? Someone please tell me if it actually works cuz I’ve bought a 50$ ball and its kinda leaking air i guess so if that works i would definitely do that

This worked so well. Thank you! We had an autographed ball that didn’t hold air and now it looks great.
Glad it helped!
A long time ago I was thinking about this but never tried, now I'll do it.
ok
worked perfect on my son's Wilson Evol BB...thank you!!
Thanks for the tip I I hope my comment adds to better payday

Thanks so much, we’re going to try this for our bball that got punctured by a chain link fence.
Did it work?
Thanks mate. We have that over here in New Zealand. I’ll give it a go.
Thanks man, really this might save me rn
This would help me so much because my friend recently just made a hole in my ball
Can I just do that without taking the pump’s back off I mean it wouldn’t change anything. Another question how long the ball will last?

It doesent matter what brand tire selanet i use?
Have you tried other brands of sealant like the ones by Slime? Will both the tubeless and tube sealants work? Or is tubeless better?
No I haven’t tried any other sealants. This one seems to work perfectly.

not sure

Sir plz make a video of pop pimple basketball repair
Egg white does the same thing too
How many ml of tire sealant must I injection in the ball
tiny amount
How many ml must I inject in it
Is there any other way to put in sealant in the basketball
remove the needle and pour solution into the pump

use the method in the video
@@michaeljohnsonofficial then you wouldn’t be able to put air in the ball
The needle will easily go through the valve

does the water stay in the ball or will it evaporate? if so how long
it stays in there

@@joshuacortes362 look up valve replacement. you can drain the ball while replacing the valve.
Is it ok if for volleyball?
Yes but I don’t recommend using the entire bottle. You need a very small amount. Even for basketball just use a small amount
Can I get it at a autozone??
no. go to a bike store or order on amazon
Do you think it would work with Elmer's glue
definitely not
My nephew hit a security fense with barbed wire. I used a screw with glue, leak very very slow now.
man
@@michaeljohnsonofficial Hey I fixed it, I used epoxy. Now the other ball he bought to replace, has a slow leak.. 😂
Do you think it would fix little holes? I got a bunch of stickers stuck in mine and now there are a bunch of little holes😭
it will be perfect for that
Where can you find this online? What company has it the cheapest? Amazon. Walmart, Target Etc.
Good question.
bike shop $2.99 no shipping
I can’t find a pump that I can open
any cheap pump. You will have to force it open

what do you mean?
$80 for a ball! Wow.

how can it have no weight ?
That’s what it’s made for. It’s made for serious mountain biking. Mountain biking is really big again making the bikes as light as possible.
