Man, I get mixed feelings when I see gameplay of WW3. Time moves on, and sadly this game was left behind by both the players, and most of the community. The most players I've seen at a time recently, have been around 200-300 max. I'd be really impressed if it ever came back, but I'm not betting on it.

Those issues were shown in every launch, latest, and beta they had, but just let them be. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the game when I could play it, unfortunately it felt like a lot of the backend was just not good.
Such a wasted potential. I still remember the fun times we had on this game.. Some of the best i had! But unfortunately those server issues never got fixed..

The combat in the game is awesome but I remember the squad dynamics kinda faded after the game finally released. The anti cheat sucked too. Went back to BF4 for my fix. BTW if you get hit by an RPG as an infantry guy, you won’t ever forget it.

what a shame matchmaking sometimes takes over 10min now, its pretty optimized now and way less glitches. i downloaded it recently and its so fun if you actually get to play a match it should be way more popular, just sad its been in some bad light because of unresponsive devs and lack of updates/fixes
Giving 40 players access to airstrikes was a big mistake imo. You die more to airstrike and vehicles than you do to foot soldiers, and that gets annoying really fast.
I always felt this game struggled with its identity. Some aspects were hardcore but then there was all that COD type stuff. It would have done better if it was more like Sandstorm but on these BF type maps. I really enjoyed the gunplay and how it encouraged teamplay.
Glad I started playing it before seasons 1 and thru season 1 with friends. It was best time to experience this game. I was really into this game, and than i just stopped before season 2, what make me stop playing is probably lack of variety in game mods and maps. I know its not OG Battlefield, but everyone would appreciate Rush/Operations mode from BF games, and more unique maps. And obviously there were huge server issues on top of that.
I pre ordered the special edition of this game and it does alot of cool stuff. But sadly it uses warfgaming launcher and was under promoted. One of my favorite things is the target that shows where you were shot on death cam. Score streaks and gear are good too.
I really loved seeing the sort of ‘hype’ this game had around 2021, when Farm 51 released the trailer after ages showing how they revamped and changed the game. It’s a real damn shame to see the state of this game right now. But this game has so much potential, I just hope Wishlist games sees what they can do and the opportunity they have.

I remember when i first downloaded this and I got the bug where I just couldnt play. I eventually found a fix but I still had to reinstall. At 100gb I imagine a lot who got that bug just never gave it another chance.
I played this literally when it 1st came out and boy it was something special. They actually made it worse after each update and made it feel more and more “arcadey”. They had the golden opportunity when 2042 came out which was a disaster. They had everything except destructive environment but was planning on selling WW3 the whole time and went silent for months with zero updates. Truly disappointing and miss the game. 😢
The only thing they had to fix for their re-launches was their shitty servers... Let people play their game. They didnt fix the one thing they had to fix to let this game thrive.
did they ever fix the servers starting before 20 players join. they would start as soon as one person joined and would be over by the time a lobby got full. would then kick everyone out and start over instead of having a map playlist.
It’s too bad, I had a lot of fun with this game when it first came out before the server issues quickly took over and it was impossible to find a game. I tried again a year or so later but there was a weird third party launcher and no players. It was a fun game with interesting mechanics, and could have had a decent community but the developers just couldn’t get it together

So many good games got lost in the haze of New releases and had launches. This being one. The bf3 formula is a favorite of mine and if course. Bf3 is nearly empty.... This game is that formula but it's even more empty. Titanfall 2 comes to mind also.
it isnt all that bad actually, yeah sure you wont need able to play on high settings with a gtx 10-series gpu but anything over a 1080ti/2060 should do the trick

I presonaly prefered the gunplay of how it was before the major mygames release. Before i feel like i could learn to controll the guns way better but since the change, all guns just feel mushy to shoot for me. Also with the change to free to play, even tho i understand the reasons of why they did it, still fucked the progression for me. Before you could freely choose what gun, part or whatever you wanted to purchase next. Now with the linear progression i would need to grind through a linear progression of unlocks i wont like. Building funny, ridiculous or cool guns is just not that easy anymore. For me those two things where a big part of my enjoyment in the game, that are sadly not present anymore so i let the game dust in my library.
Its clunky, servers kinda suck since it's mostly Europeans and Asians, and it basically robbed those who bought it when it first came out. There's a reason why virtually no one plays it.

This game proves that without actual game mode design it is very hard to catch people's attention. You have good graphics, good gunplay, good customisation, but you are missing the reason to fight. When played it i got bored after a few hours. I am tired of running around maps and capturing points over and over. I guess that it works for BF because all of the chaos that is happening is distracting players from actually noticing the pointless cat and mouse game mode. Or maybe it is the lack of satisfaction from getting kills. In Insurgency sandstorm I could get a lot more satisfaction from one simple kill than what I would get from 10 kills in a CoD/BF like games. Maybe this is why they feel the need to increase the size of the hitmarkers and the sound they make in every new game, because they know how meaningless a kill in this fps genre feels. I am wondering if what we need is to return to the old intimate 5v5 or 10v10 game modes where you feel like you are having more impact and that the fights are more intimate and rewarding.. I have a feeling that even if a BF4 perfect copy would release today it wouldn't succeed as much because gamers became numb and it is harder to keep them interested today then how it was 10 years ago

The slow ads on the sniper is also because you are carrying a Cheytac. It’s a heavy anti-material rifle

the creators high fov setting is what makes movement look a bit weird, actually ingame the movement looks quite good
