Dude, I feel like you’re gonna save my son’s life. God bless you. I am quite literally crying listening to your videos. Thank you so much. It all makes so much more sense.
Our son just got diagnosed with ADHD and it was a surprising diagnosis to us, until we watched this video and you describe everything about his behaviour in detail. Thank you so much, this was very helpful.
We've started to notice a lot of these cues in our 5 year old. We actually spoke to his Dr yesterday about his anxiety associated with school and this came up. Its time to do some deep diving but so far what you have said kind of hits on the naiil on the head. I'm happy to say that a lot of the things you recommended are things that my wife and I have already begun. Heres to the journey!
My son and I have ADHD. I was diagnosed as an adult and am learning how to be a good parent to my son while navigating my own diagnosis. Do you have a series of videos that can help parents like me maintain consistency and not fall into permissive pit falls?
To get started I have a behavior playlist here at the UA-cam channel and my Parent Behavior Training program (the recommended treatment for ADHD) is part of the membership site: www.adhddudecourses.com
My 9yr old has memory of a tri gig supercell computer😊 he remember everything he did, and every roads and places we’ve been when he was very young. Only trouble we have in school is he doesnt like mistakes wont accept to fail
For me I was diagnosed early on in the 90s when I could not keep up with my peers in reading in 1st and 2nd grade. My parents got me a tutor and later getting evaluated again as a young adult I found out I am an Auditory learner and not a visual learner. So all those sessions with the tutor of seeing words and sounding them out helped a lot. I can remember just about anything i hear Not everything I have seen. Makes math a bitch too though. But Since I had the tutor I can and all through highschool had a reading level far beyond most of my peers to the points I was asked to read out loud and then they had to stop me because I was reading too fast for everyone to be able to listen and follow along. Bonus they id not ask me to read aloud again.

To ask the school to evaluate him to see if he may qualify for services.
