I am so happy marvel movies and TV shows ran the concept of a multiverse so far into the ground that any other media that attempts it will instantly get an eye roll from me
Something that bothered me aside from episodes 4&5 is that WE NEVER GET TO SEE SOMEONE'S HOME. Safi is the second most important character and we never see where or how she lives. Never get to speak with her in a more intimate setting. And Max's home doesn't even feel lived in. No dirty dishes forgotten in the sink, no messy closet not doodles on a calendar nothing.
About what I expected. I only really liked the first one, because the prequel and sequel had junior high caliber writing. True Colors was a step in the right direction with mostly believable characters and dialogue. I was already turned off by the “early access” cash grab, and since I decided I wasn’t willing to pay extra to avoid spoilers, I’ll just keep waiting until it’s discounted and bug-free.
The first life is strange had terrible writing too, it was charming and vibey, but not well written In my opinion of course I think it was good but it was a kinda novel at the time and fresh, a very different vibe that you couldn't find elsewhere. I dunno that any of the sequels really captured it for me but I think partly I just am not in that moment of my life anymore where I was so affectionate to what it was offering That said I thought true colors was quite decent until it fell apart with a really rushed climax and finale
@littlepoodle7443 oh the implication was that I was comparing that guy commenting to a clown because his comment was a ridiculous thing to say about someone else opinion
It just went downhill for me after chapter 3.. No wonder why chapters 1 & 2 were early access (even with a price attached to it). To me the game was a solid 7.5/10 or even a 8/10 during chapters 1 and 2. But after playing the entire story, its a 6/10
@@pushsquare No, the game is fantastic, you just didn't get it. You took the wrong approach to it. It was always about Max and Safi's trauma and Max's journey to confront her past and the game did that well. I think Chapter 4 is actually one of the best chapters in the series. @@swavezmartin eh life is strange 1 my favorite then before the storm and life is strange true colors then maybe life is strange 2 and I have not played this new one yet
Life Is Strange 2 was the best game i've ever played. It was a beautiful story and will forever hold a special place in my heart. 5 years after it concluded i still regularly think about it. Sean and Daniel's bond was one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen, keep in mind it's all fiction, that's how good it was. I really hope we get to see those two again some day.
Why they rushed her life story makes no sense. She goes from 16 years old in High school, totally misses college and everything that could have happened there, to an adult with no characters from past shows involved whatsoever. I don't get the thinking of the developers here. It's like they want to pretend the first shows were never any good, or not worth retelling. I was going to get this game, but I have changed my mind. $50 bucks for a 13-hour game is totally hard to swallow, especially given that it's not really replayable at all. The economy in the States is so bad right now, I can't see throwing good money away on this. I will wait until it's on sale.
Its defintiely not worth the price. I feel like i wasted money on that game. Shouldve just gotten the silent hill remake. I literally only played this for max
@@Realghostface3 I would love for the developers to tell me what they feel a 12 hour game is worth $50. The biggest point beyond that, it that it's not replayable. So $50 for a one-time 12 hour game is a ripoff. It should have been, at most, $24.00
life is strange never really had high variability in choices with consequential outcomes. maybe 2 or 3 majorly different endings was the set standard even for telltale games.but come on this game does not have a single consequential choice that impacts the story in a significant way. its okay as a movie if i did not have to play walking simulator or solve kindergarten grade puzzles between the dialogues.
Max Caulfield and the Turtleverse of Madness. Sorry Pricefield shipper here. No real love interest and nothing that mattered at the end. Max and Chloe were what made the first game. No one I care about much here.
Why would she still want someone like Chloe around? Like I've said before Chloe is as toxic and terrible to Max as Amber was to her. Max grew up matured and realized it obviously. It's pretty realistic. Sometimes no matter who they are or how much you care you have to cut toxic people out of your life

One thing i notice about LiS 2 hate but, i cant mention it or i will get my comment removed....but theres a clear thing ive been seeing when it comes to haters or LiS2.
Lets go through this. Caledon is on holiday break, many of the students and faculty are not there. So the place looks less lively than it would in the school year. Max is barely a teacher, and grad students can be TA, so Max can relate to them more informally. The central mystery is reliant on the traumas of the characters, which is the main point. Trauma causes superpowers in the series. Why can't people get this? And the story does stay grounded. In fact, Chapter 5 goes more personal when the environment goes more crazy, just like the first. There are reasons why I think game reviewers do not judge stories well. This shows me this. You completely ignored the story about the deuteragonist here. And the emotional resonance is as strong as it ever was because of her story.
People wanted Max back. They got her 10 years later. Now they are mad that she looks different like people don't change in appearance, and personality in a decade. People just want to complain because they get off on it. These losers live to hate on anything. Doesn't matter what. If it isn't a 10 out of 10 and tailor made for them it's trash. A pretty pathetic and foolish way to play games
ive never read a negative review with these issues you bring up. The main issue (that a lot of people bring up) is the fact this game is purely sequel bait, not a single part of the story was wrapped up, it left the player confused and shorthanded in chapter 4-5. WHY OR WHEN was max in the photo and going to shoot safi? the storm was not in the photo, but it is when she goes back in time into the photo....? The romance scenes are hollow and forced. The decisions we made throughout the game did NOTHING, no matter what you do, safi shoots her mom, the final decision of the game does not change ANYTHING
@@kamishorts999 Most of the story is wrapped up. Max's character arc, the Maya conspiracy, and the storm. Only Safi's story and future romances aren't wrapped up. The Max that killed Safi was from another timeline based on the polaroid collectables.
