When I go out it's for the enjoyment of being around my friends, but most of the time, it involves drinking or smoking. As social beings, we are prepositioned to partake in the same activities as the majority of people around us.

Working in a bar for a few years in my town and seeing people I used to have some respect for act like absolute children has steered me far away from excess alcohol. a few glasses of wine with a friend watching a movie is OK but drinking to excess i feel like is definitely people trying to deal (or not deal) with an internal problem

I believe, the key to being sober is not to find activities that replace the experience. Like a non acloholic bar or smome shit. I've chosen to abstain myself from alcohol about 3 years ago and ongoing.
They were genuinely trying to help people and make them feel more comfortable. I am talking about everyone around KB and Don. It's actually a nice good thing.
